The ongoing adventures of the Marathon, a gunship with a crew long on exotic creatures and short on common sense. They (almost) always get the job done. Eventually.
Envoy is the ninth and final book in the Marathon series, an action-packed carnival ride of a space opera that will leave you breathless.
From the 1st page of book one of the Marathon series, to the last page of book nine, completely engrossing, captivating space adventure! It does not lag for one heart clutching moment to the next! I had to read this amazing adventure non-stop to the end. Thank the stars, the series was complete - waiting for the next book would have been too horrible to completate! The characters are all extraordinarily well defined, and Eckhart, what a guy! Definitely rooting for him! His main crew of friends, and his increasingly large group of allies are all such a great bunch. What else can I say. Read the series, and enjoy the wild ride. And if you're like me, you'll regret when it's over!
All 9 books of Eckhart's story bring him closer to the realization that he is the one. The only Person/Alien that can bring peace to the galaxies, including earth. Except for the typos, missing words and incomplete sentences this series is an exceptional read. I read all 9 books in 5 days. You must read them in order or you'll miss important action. I only wish that there were drawings of the different Alien species.
This was the last book in the series and I must say that it doesn't disappoint . There was plenty of action in this one that tied right into the rest of the series . They have a couple big space battles and it's just one of those books you can't put down because you have to know what's happening next. I would recommend this series to anyone who is in to sync stories.
