Wish it was edited a bit more

Some of the stories were great, but the editing made it hard to read because the text was densely packed together. There's also so many names to remember without maybe like a glossary, a story could be 2-3 pages long and you'd be introduced to over 5 names of people and then the kingdom and then the other names of the location, spirits and people. Some stories are to the point, but this was hard to read, so i ended up not finishing through. Some stories also lack purpose and could be summed up to be even shorter, but that's the thing with old tales and mythos. The editing, tho tho makes this hard to read and enjoy.

I’m a fan of myths and legends and it was really enjoyable reading about myths and legends from different cultures. The stories were unfamiliar but the morals and cautionary ideas were familiar and cut across all cultures.
The book is easy to read and informative. As a reader it is enjoyable to have little introductory blurbs that give more or additional information that adds understanding.
