If you love old animated cartoons from the thirties and forties, then you probably love Cuphead. This book shows a behind-the-scenes look at the series, and reveals how the crew went above and beyond to not only produce a show that looks and feels like it came from that era, but also replicated many of the old techniques used to create those classics. Yes, those 3-D sets on the show are real and not computer animated.
I felt the text of the book could have gone a bit more into the story-writing and voice talent aspects of the production, but the book is about the "art" so I guess I'm not allowed to complain.
