Former Air Force Pararescue Specialist, Morris “Moe” Cleveland might be smaller than the other members of his team, but size, in his case, certainly matters. He can fit in places his counterparts can’t and his body is wiry, streamlined and fast. The perfect choice when it comes to proportional matches. Thankfully, his new client is nine inches shorter than him. Assigned to protection duty for a rich man’s daughter seems a waste of his skills. But he’s getting paid well for babysitting duty and wouldn’t complain. At least he isn’t dodging bullets in the Middle East. Instead, he’s dodging his growing feelings for the feisty redhead.
The Client
When her little brother died of leukemia, Breely's parents hovered over her, refusing to let her do things for fear of losing their only living child. Breely rebelled against the suffocation, moved off the family ranch and into her own place in Eagle Rock. She lives a double life. By day she's the face of Brantt enterprises, managing her father's philanthropic ventures. At night she moonlights as Bea, the feisty waitress at the Tumbleweed Tavern. Breely made a vow to herself to live a real life, not one cocooned in bubble wrap, protected from every which way the wind might blow.
When she's targeted by kidnappers, she is forced to accept help from a regular at the bar who, with his Brotherhood Protectors team’s blessing is assigned as her bodyguard. As Breely’s world goes sideways, she learns she might live longer if someone with mad combat skills has her back. Surrounded by danger, she finds safety, warmth and heart in her protector’s arms.

More amazing things happening in the brotherhood protector series! I think Moe and Breely are by far my favorite characters now!
These two have crackling chemistry! Elle James created this storyline perfectly, bringing all the elements of danger and action that will have you hanging on for a thrilling ride with Moe and Breely!
Loved this story so much! Definitely a five star read that I highly recommend!
I received an Arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
How can you not LOVE this hero?! The fierce alpha protector is right there when Bree needs it! Bree has led a very sheltered life since her older brother died years earlier. Finally at the ripe old age of 28, she runs away from home. She wants to live life on her own terms now. She wants to experience freedom and making her own choices. As the only child now of a multi-billionaire, she changes her name when she is hired on as a waitress. It is there that she meets Moe. Moe is waiting for a call from the hospital in Bozeman to call him. He is to fly organs to Denver for transplant. When he sees the gorgeous waitress, he starts a conversion with her. The scene was a delight to read. When Moe thinks she got into trouble for talking with him, he wants to apologize. The tavern is now closed so he goes around to the alley to hopefully catch her.
Instead Moe stops Bree from being kidnapped! When he takes her home, it is discovered that her apartment as been viciously destroyed. Can Moe save Bree? The questions of who, what and why, are on!
While this is a part of a series, you don't have to read the prior ones to fully enjoy this story.
I adored the story coming in a dual POV format. Getting that glimpse into the character's thoughts really help me to understand the character and his/her actions and words so much better!
This is a sexy read. If you enjoy the former military hero, then you will LOVE this book!
Breely is running, but in running from overprotective and suffocating parents she manages to run straight towards danger. Moe happens to be in the right place at the right time but is knocked on his ass by the one thing he swore he never wanted again! I am glad he realises it is different this time and he doesn't run, he embraces it fully, determined to sweep Breely off her feet and into their future.
Saving Breely: Brotherhood protectors of Yellowstone Book 5 is written by Elle James. In this series, Elle has managed to tell love stories and adventure stories while preserving the wonders of the Yellowstone.
Morris “Moe” Cleveland had been a member of the Air Force; but the job was too stressful for his wife, so to save his marriage, he resigned from the Air Force. However, they had each changed so much that their marriage didn’t last. Moe then joined a security group but didn’t like it. He finally found the Brotherhood Protectors in Yellowstone. They were the western branch of Hank Patterson’s group out of Montana. With the group, Moe was able to do some flying on his missions which suited him just fine.
This new mission started in Bozeman, Montana so he was able to meet Hank and catch up on their friendship. They met in a local tavern to eat, and it was here they had Bea for a waitress. She was very good at her job and after she left, Moe began some gentle flirting with her. When Stan, her boss, called to her, she finally left to begin closing-up, Moe left. As he left, he began to wonder if he had jeopardized her job by talking so long to her. He turned around to go back in and apologize only they had closed. On the off chance of meeting her as she left, he headed to the back of the tavern to wait for her. He was just in time to see two men trying to drag her into a van. She was fighting for all she was worth. Just as they got her in and closed the door, a fight broke out outside the van. She took the opportunity to try to escape through the front; but before she could move to do that, the door opened again, and she heard Moe’s friendly voice reassuring her she was fine. Just then, Stan came out of the door ready to do battle with Moe. Bea settled him down; but Stan still called the police.
Moe insisted on taking her home. On the way he mused as to why she might have been kidnapped and almost settled on kidnapping and her excessive price due to her red hair. When they reached her apartment, they found it had been broken into and ransacked. After the police left, she asked Moe to take her to a hotel; but he had another idea that became clearer when the hospital called. He had fifteen minutes to get to the hospital, pick up the organs he was to transfer and hit the air. This was the life-saving mission he was on. He insisted Bea come with him to possibly save her life.
When they were in the air, Bea came clean as to who she really was, why she had been working in the tavern, how much money she represented, and why she had run away. Moe could see she would need protection once they landed and determined that he would be the only one to guard her. Now to convince his boss and Bea!
This is a fantastic addition to Elle James Brotherhood Protector Yellowstone. It was so great to be back at the lodge with Cookie and everyone else. It feels like you’re making a visit back home after a time away, being welcomed with open arms.
Breely and Moe are totally in sync with each other straight away. It feels as though their hearts recognised the other, I know that sounds corny but it doesn’t make it any less true.
Breely is a beautiful character and although she has led a sheltered life, events show her true badass emerge and it’s stunning to watch.
What I found interesting was the understanding that money doesn’t necessarily buy happiness. The way that Breely was protected against the potential for danger because of who her father is came across as stifling and makes you see the other side of being affluent. What good is having money if you can’t live your life it’s like a double edged sword, and Elle James showed this perfectly.
Moe may not be as built like a linebacker as the other guys but that takes nothing away from his alpha dominant presence, his coolness under pressure, his openness and his total badass, masculine appeal. I loved that he had no interest in Breely’s financial state. I think it takes a man who truly understands what’s important in life to see past the dollar signs.
Elle James has once again knocked it out of the park with the fantabulous addition to the series.
I love the depth, the emotions portrayed throughout this story. The welcome the character give you as they open their arms and embrace you in their love is spellbinding.
Can’t recommend highly enough. So many more then 5 stars.
The story wasn’t bad. I like the characters in this series a lot and I’ve enjoyed them. The plots seem to go oddly fast but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Sometimes quick reads are nice. This is why the 3 stars. What I found very irritating and disheartening is the blatant lack of cohesion in the story and time lines. For example, at the end of Kyla’s book there’s a whole scene about how she tells Stone she’s pregnant in the newly remodeled barn. At the end of this one there’s a lodge reopening party where Kyla is throwing up and she comes out after Moe’s proposal to tell Stone she’s pregnant. There’s even a freaking scene in Lilliana’s book where everyone is at the lodge dinner table discussing Kyla and Stone’s wedding and she talks about the baby and rubs her pregnant belly. Like seriously?? Is she pregnant or is she not and where does it fall in the whole timeline of things?? Again, that’s one example. I’m sure to some I sound crazy but this is a huge turnoff for me to read her other books. It sounds like she’s churning them out too fast and isn’t paying much attention to them and doesn’t have a team to help her catch the mistakes. This was the first series I’ve read of hers and I was hopeful I found another author to binge. I’d personally rather spend my money with other authors where I’ve read numerous books and/ or series that they’ve written and never encountered this.

We are back with the Yellowstone Brotherhood Protectors, and this time the story belongs to Morris/Moe Cleveland. Moe is a tad different than the rest of the crew. A former Air Force Pararescue specialist, he is also slighter built. A trait that helped in dangerous situations when he needed to get into tight places. Moe is enchanted by the new waitress at the Tumbleweed Tavern. It isn’t until after someone tries to kidnap her and he offers to protect her, that he finds out she is the heiress to one of the wealthiest men in the world. As the danger intensifies, so does the attraction. Will they be able to figure out who and why someone wants to kidnap her? Will her family let Breely finally be free of the restraints they have imposed? Will they live to find their HEA? Though a good story, it was not my favorite in the series. I found it less engaging . That said, it was still a good addition to the story. As always, I enjoy “visiting” with the characters of previous stories and series. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Once again we are with the men of the Yellowstone branch of the Brotherhood Protectors and this time we have Moe Cleveland's story He is the smallest member of the team a former PJ but don't let his size fool you after all PJs are the ones sent in to get special operators and military personnel that get into trouble behind enemy lines. He is instantly drawn to Bree Smith the waitress he met at the Tumbleweed diner when he meets Hank there while waiting to fly organs on a medical mercy dash. What he doesn't expect is that she will be attacked as she leaves the dinner or that he will be the one to save her. Soon he learns that there is far more to Bree than anyone realises she is in fact the only child of one of the richest men in the world smothered by her parents protectiveness after the death of her older brother. is the danger stalking her related to her father and his interests in South America or is it something from her own past. As Moe fights to keep her safe the sparks between them fly but can he live in her world and does she want to stay in that world
🛩️🧳The situations better be ott stifling in bea's home otherwise I'm not having any sympathy for poor little rich girl. 🛩️🧳Oh we have another one here "never orgasmed before you" 🛩️🧳He got offended because bea dare to doubt his motive? Yes Moe did save her but still, he swop her in a hotel room in another city without really knowing each other. His reaction was quite brutal. 🛩️🧳I really don't like when people went headfirst onto the sex. I don't see any chemistry between them. Zero passion. 🛩️🧳Its just teenage drama where they think they're blessed with the worst parent in the world thn run away from home, struggles, adventures all the while they're still under their parents gaze. I'm sorry but I just saw a man who's legit afraid of her only daughter's safety whom he loves unconditionally. We didn't see any devastating situation to condone Bea's "kidnap and death over going back home" decision. This is so foolish. Her whole rebellion is so condescending. 🛩️🧳Freaking fairytale world 😒 🛩️🧳Queue ♾️ eye roll

Breeley has lived a very sheltered life. He older brother died young of leukemia and at twenty eight she has barely been out of her parents sight. She literally ran away to discover life. She heads to Bozeman and gets a job as a waitress in a bar. She gets her own apartment and has not tapped in to her accounts. She is the daughter of a billionaire.
Moe has a plane and blew in from West Yellowstone to pick up some organs that he is flying to Denver. He meets up with Hank Patterson at the bar Breeley works at. Just as Moe is getting ready to head to the hospital there is a kidnapping attempt on Breeley. Moe takes her home after her tires are discover slashed to discover her apartment has been totally ransacked. Needing to leave her apartment and the area she flies w Moe to Denver w the organs.
Breeley has gone from 0 to Mach pretty quickly. Unsure but she learns fast. She gets through another kidnapping attempt perfectly. Great story.
When Moe saves Breely from being kidnapped after her shift at a bar, he doesn’t realize what he has walked into and vows to keep her safe, no matter what. Breely is not just a waitress and being almost kidnapped has her reeling but she feels safe with Moe, a man she had just flirted with while serving him and now he has just saved her. She takes a chance and accompanies him on a flight and spills all her secrets…hoping it won’t change how he sees her. With her background and father, BP takes on her case to keep her safe and Moe will be by her side through it all….but when the kidnappers get a jump on her….will Moe save her in time. Another great instalment in the BP Yellowstone series and I loved both of these characters. Breely was down to earth, kind and had a backbone and Moe was protective and treated her with respect. A read with suspense, steam, great characters and a great epilogue with a surprise. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
While it was good to have a bit of a different storyline. This one had inconsistencies which were annoying.
And seriously sounds like poor dumb little rich girl thinking she would rather be kidnapped and murdered than live in her rich house with overprotective parents that love her. How stupid is that!!
Oh and my favourite bit of stupidity, I don’t need a bodyguard I can look after myself ummmm getting dragged into a van to be kidnapped says you can’t look after yourself. Stupid!
And they’ve apparently had cracking good sex and then Moe steps up to become her protector and she says dumb things like oh he can’t possibly be into me I’m only his client. They had already jumped in bed together and had sex all night and morning long before he was your bodyguard.
So I marked it down for the stupid stuff they do and say as I’m getting over this series I think.
Another wonderful story from the brotherhood protectors but we are switching to the Yellowstone series. What can I say? This book got my attention since the beginning or rather since I read the blurb. This book is quite special because the hero and the heroine are not the usual characters you encounter in a book. Moe is a hero but physically is not of average height but neither is Breely, a feisty redhead. The story is not a slow burn romance because Moe gets caught by Breely's charm after a few seconds he has set his eyes on her. However Breely is not an ordinary girl since behind the facade, she hides a secret. Unfortunately this secret is revealed and Moe, along with his wonderful colleagues, will do everything it takes to protect the love of his life. A love at first glance that will make the reader swoon, begging for more.
4 Stars I purchased a copy of the steamy post-military instant attraction romance Saving Breely: Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone book 5 by Elle James and this review was given freely A nice mix of action, danger, “normal life”, and a quickly escalating romance. It feels like the length and intensity of intimate scenes are greater than in previous books, but they did not detract from the story. There were many memorable moments. Two of which are Moe’s calm and collected scene with her father in the hotel and the foreshadowing of Kyla’s pregnancy. While waiting in the Tumbleweed Tavern to be called to complete a “Life Flight” flight, former Airforce PJ, now Brotherhood Protectors employee Morris “Moe” Cleveland finds himself saving and guarding his attractive waitress, the runaway heiress Breely Brantt. 18+ for intimate scenes and violence.
Saving Breely is a spectacular romantic suspense by Elle James. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. James managed to have my eyes watering before I even started the book with her dedication to Desiree Holt. This book is Breely and Moe's book and is fast-paced and loaded with drama, humor, action and sizzle. I loved every page and look forward to my next book by Elle James. Saving Breely is book 5 of the Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is the fifth addition to Elle James Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone series. And it is better than ever. The H/h is Morris “Moe” Cleveland and Breeley “Bea Smith” Brandt. Bea is the daughter of one of the richest man in the world. Her parents have suffocated her with love and protection her entire life due to the death of her brother at a very young age. So she moves to Eagle Rock and meets Moe in a tavern right before she’s kidnapped. He gets her back and realizes she has to go with him so he can keep her safe. This turns into the ride of their lives. Wonderful story line, excellent characters and being back at the lodge brings all of the other characters together again. Another great read from the brilliant mind of Elle James.
Saving Breely by Elle James is book #5 in the Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone series. There's lots of action in this latest addition to the series. I really enjoyed this book from the exciting first chapter to the fun and surprise at the end. It's always fun getting together with the Brotherhood Protectors, no matter which branch is visited on the pages. The two main characters, Breely Brantt and Morris "Moe" Cleveland are very likable and I enjoyed seeing them find happiness. I am looking forward to author Elle James next romantic suspense story.
Moe has joined the Brotherhood Protectors after serving in the Air Force. While waiting for a call for an organ life flight, he ends up protecting “Bea”, a waitress from kidnappers. She is really Breely, the only child of one of the richest men on earth. This was exactly why she was protected and kept in almost isolation after her brother dies of leukaemia. He not big and brawny like the other Brothers, so he is more inconspicuous. Now she is his first client and he is now her bodyguard. They go through the usual trials and tribulations of working together. There is no shortage of action and intrigue. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Moe has joined the Brotherhood Protectors after the end of his career in the Air Force. His visit to the Tumbleweed Tavern couldn’t have come at a better time as he saves Breely, the waitress he has been flirting with, from being abducted.
Breely finds herself torn between what her parents want and what she wants. She wants the opportunity to do what makes her happy even if that means living a double life but when danger finds her she realizes that trusting Moe is the best decision she ever made.
Intrigue, surprises and romance as Moe shows her that he is a man she can count on and allows her to become the woman she was always meant to be.
Breely is working as a waitress in Fools Gold, Colorado. She's only been here for a few weeks when she meets Moe one evening, likes him and is sorry he leaves before she shuts the diner down. Fortunately for both of them, Moe's still there when she leaves, and two men attempt to abduct her. When Moe saves her, he finds that she is the heiress to one of the richest men in the world. Moe takes a job to protect her when she admits who she is, and Moe figures this won't be the last time someone tries to kidnap her. This was a cute, enjoyable story that I read in a few hours.
It’s always fun to visit the different branches of the Brotherhood Protectors, Hank Paterson makes a difference for his military brothers while they provide protection to anyone that needs it whether they can pay or not. Morris “Moe” Cleveland is assigned to provide that protection when the client Breely is almost kidnapped. He finds out she is the daughter of one of the richest men in the world, which makes protecting her harder. It’s a great addition to the series and I would recommend it.
Hats off to Breely! Tiny, tenacious, intelligent, compassionate, determined. This woman had that and more in spades. Moe, AF PJ, smaller stature than some of the BH Protectors but with the same big heart and integrity. Saving Breely delivered on the suspense, the romance - the steam and I like that they had to figure out why someone was after her and who. It wasn't set in stone. Enjoyable read. Elle James delivers as always. Thank you for the arc. I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions. #savingbreely #brotherhoodprotectors #yellowstone #twistedpageinc #bookfunnel
This is a great addition to the Brotherhood Protector Series. I love getting to read about people from previous books, but this is a standalone too. Moe meets Breely when she is working as a waitress and he prevents her from being kidnapped. Then he becomes her protector. I liked the way that they talked and got to know each other. I love the way this author describes the places and scenery. She makes you feel like you’re there and seeing it too. I received an ARC of this book for an honest review and I loved it. I recommend it to everyone that loves a good romance and suspense book.
I love the story and the series. Morris "Moe" works for the Brotherhood Protectors and flies an airplane. He uses the plane for delivering life saving organs. He meets Breely/Bea at the Tumbleweed Tavern where she works at night. He flirts with her and put his foot in his mouth. When he goes to apologize to her, he finds that she is being kidnapped. He gets her back and takes her home. Her home has been broken into. What is going on? He is determined to protect her. Can he? I read an arc of this book and this is my review.
This story was interesting. Glad there was no killing in this story. This is about Breely and Moe. Breely wanted to get away from her parent's ranch and experience freedom. She wanted to be anonymous so she used a different name. Of course, her daddy knew where she was the whole time. Anyway, Moe saves her from the first kidnapping and they start their adventure together. It was a tame story but the proposal was interesting and definitely Kyla's news was exciting. FANTASTIC job Elle! I would recommend this book.
Breely was trying 2 b more independent 4 her own reasons. When she was getting off work there was a incident of trying 2 b kidnapped but she was saved. Things r going crazy cause of who she really is but when the chips r down the 1 good thing Moe will do what he can possibly do 2 keep her safe. There's only 1 part at the end that don't make any sense!! In Stone's book Kayla says at the end that she's pregnant but then the rest of the books afterwards don't say anything about it. Then at the end of this book it says she's pregnant. So its very confusing!!!!!!
Moe and Breely. An innocent meeting and a rescue later leads to helping an heiress get out of danger. Add in some protective parents, several possibilities for danger, and a new romance this story was non stop. West Yellowstone was the main place for action and the HEA which was precious as the whole team and her family were all there. I enjoyed the scenes with her dad as they were so embarrassing and with Cookie and the cookout.! A solid read and great addition to this series.
Loved this story! This is Moe and Breely's story. Moe is a former Air Force PJ. He just joined Hank Patterson's Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone division. Breely is the daughter of a super wealthy family. Moe and Breely meet. Right away an attempted kidnapping of Breely happens. Moe rushes in and saves her. Then the adventures begin. Moe vows to keep Breely safe even if it means that Moe has to die!
