I got hold of the first draft of this book around 2 weeks ago. Read it in 3 days and stopped to do as recommended with each page. We have been open for a year but i still learned so much with all the information Frank gives.
What a great read and a must if you ever consider having your own airbnb and like me as a host i still learned alot.
So 5 stars from us in South Africa.

You're going to need a note-taking device, trust me better grab one. As complete as it gets, this book is brimming with sound, practical guidance, suggestions, systems, and approaches. It is everything to make your Airbnb business the best it can be. Although it is light and easy to read, I find it to be loaded with information and easy to follow framework. No matter what stage your AirBnB business is in, this book is highly recommended.

This book has so much details.....from starting a airbnb business to maintaining and knowing the laws. It really helped me a lot. I had so many questions and was very skeptical....but after reading this I feel confident in getting the LLC right away. This is knowledgeable information. Thank you for putting it out!

Do not buy this book. This is the most surface-level writing I’ve dealt with in a while. My honest impression is that the author just hired a bunch of interns to research on Google and put together a book for him. The language is that of a high-schooler, ideas are extremely repetitive, pages are dragged out with black-and-white, 0-value-add images that just take space along with the author’s constant begging to give him a review. I also do not believe this author actually owns and operates a single Airbnb as there was a whopping total of about 2 personal stories in the entire book and even those sounded completely generic and made up. Every time you think you’re about to be told something actually insightful, the writer always goes back to “make sure you check this out on your own.”
Finally - the references and sources used are beyond laughable, the author actually uses BUZZFEED as his authority source!! Terrible.

I am already a host on AirBnb, but after reading Frank Eberstadt's insightful, plain speaking and easy to follow book I am totally inspired to not only revamp and fine tune my existing AirBnb properties, but have begun planning to increase my portfolio by developing my own small acreage property to incorporate rentable 'cottages'. I'm excited to start this project from scratch, using this book as a guide, to ensure I optimise my space to suit my location and the market. Frank's tips to make a property more 'marketable' are invaluable, pointing out many things I never would have contemplated. Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge in such a simple, precise and easy to read instructional format. This is a book I intend to read and refer back to many times.

A great Airbnb manual for home owners. I love how the author grasped all the aspects of renting out your home on airbnb , from basics such as photos and furniture to financials and analytics. Useful tips and tools are provided to be able to start an Airbnb business from scratch or scale up. Highly recommend this book as a desk book and great detailed guidance for everyone who wants to start making profits by short-term renting their properties.

This is a GO-TO book if you want to know all there is to running a Airbnb. After reading Frank's book, I took the plunge and purchased my 1st Airbnb! I had been deliberation for a while, but reading this gave me the extra confidence to dive into it! It is a 'REAL' read; in other words, it's not stuffy, pretentious or over complicated....it's real-life, real experience, and real advice.
