I only read the first two books. The extreme repetitiveness was exhausting. Giving the reader the same information over and over. A word count of "agreed" is telling regarding vocabulary. Also characters names changed during the story. Rosey became Rosie, Anita became Nadia, and Donald became Ronald. Twists were introduced but never mentioned again such as Evelyn's involvement with Richard's dad. Writing felt lazy and uninspired. Where were the mountains?

ARC Review For honest review. Book1 casanova boss-After the murder of her husband veronica and her two girls Rachel and audra are on the run till she gets to canton Washington book2 secret crush-Richard who is best friends with Chris and emealda his sister and how each character plays a role when younger and 10 years later book3 his perfect baby-Amber is tired of her life so she heads to montrose,Montana to find Frank the man she can't forget only she meets his twin Jesse instead. Book 4 second chance-Chase kellerman is back at the ranch in Bangor after 14 yrs looking for what he lost amanda samson ,but he also brings the city back with him book5 unexpected trouble-This story has Steven renting his deceased wifes studio apt out to Tracy Tipton . He a male that don't want to open his heart again so not to get hurt but she is the one that will back the walls down. These story you will love the chemistry of the characters and the the beautiful Romances.

These were the dumbest stories
With stupid characters who didn't have anything but looks, sex, and babies to build their relationships. Stilted dialogs, typos, and rushed, unsatisfying endings were in each. I just skimmed them after the first two. Dumb and highly improbable.

Small Town Mountain Men
This box set was a hard read. The style of writing was difficult to follow and impersonal. Might try one of her other books and see if I can get into the style. The plots to each book were good but just did not flow well.

I loved this series. You have alpha men with attitudes and sexy heroines who keep them on their toes.

I read three stories in this set. They were okay. The characters were fairly shallow in their development. Not terribly exciting, but not terrible. Just didn't wow me.

Good boxset
Good boxset, I enjoyed these Mountain Men. Each story was a standalone. I can't wait to read more from. Lauren Woods.
