I should have declined my bestie's invite to the Bishop’s annual Christmas skiing trip. In the breathtaking French Alps . . . With the even more breathtaking Bishop triplets.
After catching my ex-fiancé cheating, It was either going on the exotic trip . . . Or spending Christmas alone.
Why was this a bad idea? My roommates include three bullies who gave me the worst moments of my childhood.
To make matters worse, they’ve grown into three irritating, hot-as-sin MEN. Oh, and did I mention . . . they’re my bestie’s triplet brothers?
The ball begins to drop when I catch one of them naked and dripping wet in the shower. Suddenly I lose all self restraint and ALL hell breaks loose.
When the triplets touch my skin I'm on fire. Every sensual thing they whisper in my ear is intoxicating. I want them all more than I fear the consequences.
Consequences like this one . . . “Can you repeat that doctor?” “There’s zero chance of knowing who the father is. Identical triplets share almost identical sets of DNA.”

The heroine:Harper - she and Kat grew up as best friends since they were very young. Though they lived completely different lives. Kat came from a wealthy family and lived in a mansion, while Harper never knew her father, her mother thought of her as an accident and once called Harper a “blight on my life”. They grew up poor and she has made her own way in life since she came of age. She was supposed to be getting married over the holidays, but her ex-fiancé cheated on her, so she decided to take her bestie up on an offer to join their family on a Christmas vacation in the French Alps.
The Heroes:Jackson, Aiden and Nathan - Kat’s triplet brothers. Jackson - he is self-confident and a bit pretentious. He is a lawyer at a large law firm near Charleston. He has been drinking too much lately and has some issues with his dad. Aiden - the nicest of the three brothers, he was in the military and was honorably discharged after he was injured in a bombing. He has PTSD and doesn’t like to admit when he is in pain. Nathan - as a teen, he hung out with some of the mean guys at school, he is a bit more thoughtless than his brothers. His former fiancée is now engaged to his former best friend. He has a degree in finance and sits on the board of a non-profit.
The Story: The triplets used to constantly tease Harper and Kat when they were growing up, though it was never just teasing to her. They did it in a mean way though they always said they were just joking. They and their friends were part of the reason Harper moved away right after high school. Though they have grown up, she still sees parts of their bullying personalities coming through when they first share a meal together in France.
Ok, I will say it. I have an issue with so many heroines in romantic novels being redheads. Why is that? I like a heroine to be someone I can relate to, and I have never even known a redhead. They are like 2% of the population but seem to be about 35% of the population of romance novels, and though some gingers are very beautiful, many of them are somewhat homely. So, what exactly is the deal romance authors? Not to mention the fact that the heroine has brown hair on the cover of this book.
I liked the story in this book, but the way that Harper went from being a virgin one minute to having a foursome the next was a bit too much to be believed. Then the fact that the guys all thought of Harper as someone who could make them be better men, really didn’t sit well with me. They should make themselves be better men and not look to someone else to do that for them. Jackson seemed to be a bit of a child in a man’s body for much of the book, so I was glad when he straightened up.
This book had me hooked from the beginning. I’m a sucker for a good RH and this book was great. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ spice level with some very sweet moments as well. Kai brought in a lot of plot in a detailed way that was t overwhelming. I can’t wait to read more from her!!.

So we have “virg!n geek who got hot” and triplet jerks who bullied her. The progression wasn’t believable from “I hate these jerks who seriously hurt me” to a threesome with feelings in like 2.5 seconds. There is a definitive lack of maturity in any of the main characters. The smut was subpar. It felt stilted and awkward. Nothing special. I’m not convinced our main lady had a real orgasm the entire story no matter what the book actually says. (Read it and see for yourself) I wish I would have known this was vcard trope before I picked it up tbh. Pregnancy trope is pretty obvious from the blurb and at least that had some originality to it because of the genetic component. I mean I guess it’s a mindless read if you’re into it but there are better options if you just want a twin/triplet plot line. Also how did these guys go from “jerk with xyz issue to emotionally available and caring with a 12 hour time period?? Makes zero sense. Idk suspend reality and read it if you want to. I did enjoy some small moments between individual guys and our main character. Okay rant over.
This was a cute holiday ménage, sisters best friend, accidental pregnancy, enemies to lovers romance that keeps you on your toes. The book was smokin’ hot and involved a “poor girl from South Carolina” and rich triplet men😊. They explore an unconventional hook up which ends in a surprise (and this isn’t a spoiler….it mentions this in the teaser info!). All of the men have “daddy issues” and each has to work out how to overcome them with Harper’s help. Recommended for a hot night in!
Aside from the holiday setup with a great view, I truly appreciate how the book tied up everything in the end. There's closure on every area that needed it and I feel that is an important aspect of every story.
I also respect how this story touched on a child's desire to get their parents attention and how it affects them until adulthood. It's something that most parents deny, but it is sadly true. I also appreciated how all the siblings got together in the end; they all had their own issues but in the end, they helped each other out. They cared more for each other rather than allowing one of them to fall. While there was some bullying and name callimg between the siblings, I'm glad they all learned from their mistakes and they all thrived to be better. I'm also glad to say that the apologies didn't just occur through words, they were followed up by actual actions.
Lastly, while some aspects of the story were quite given already, I was really surprised by the reveal that they did in the end. I think that conclusion to that part of the story was such a power move. It was such an, 'I'am a woman and I won't be taking this shit any longer' moment and I loved it!
This was a book and it indeed did take place at Christmas. It also was about a woman who sleeps with her best friend's triplet brothers during Christmas. Tis the season...I guess?
It went as you'd expect. I was surprised that it was as emotionally forward as it was...but I actually didn't like that about it? It felt like every five seconds the characters had to acknowledge and apologize for things. It reminds me of the Rick and Morty episode where Summer goes to that all female led planet and they are like "I am here if you need to talk." (sorry if this is a very obscure ref)
Also, the conflicts didn't really mesh together that well and the three male interests where the same person just different conflicts. I didn't feel any attachment to any of them as they had no discerning personalities.
Other than that the writing was actually pretty solid for a KU book and I liked the French atmosphere in the Christmas time. But overall, I don't recommend this book unless you are truly just looking for these tropes done at a decent prose level.
This was a really good book as I had a bit of trouble putting it down. I really enjoyed the connection and chemistry between Harper and her three guys, ackson, Aiden and Nathan. This was a little bit of an emotional read but also sweet, steamy, and it has a bit of Christmas magic. I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to more from Kai Lesy.

How is it that there’s three love interests and I still can’t care about a single one of them?
I wasn’t expecting much from this book and I can’t say it was a terrible read. Just overall uninteresting in the end. The conflicts each brother had were legitimate and had solid resolutions, but the conflicts surrounding Harper and the Bishop family fell flat. Every worry and secret Harper held ended up not being that big of a deal.
Harper spends much of the book worrying how Kat, her friend, will react to hearing that she’s been intimate with all of her brothers. Ultimately, Kat barely asks any questions and just goes with it. Even the Bishop’s mother, Rose, doesn’t blink twice. Harper also worries it’ll be revealed that she leaked incriminating photos of the Bishop’s father. When she confesses, it turns out she wasn’t actually the one who released them. So her guilt over “tearing their family apart” (which she really just facilitated- the father made a choice to cheat) is unfounded.
Not to mention Harper is a pretty bad friend to Kat. There are several moments in the book where Kat is clearly upset and Harper decides to hang out with the boys instead so they can get jiggy with it.
Super cute fun steamy holiday read! Harper and the guys we fun, sexy and witty. I loved Kat and their mom! Definitely recommend for a steamy holiday treat
I loved this book. If you are in the mood for a good romance thus is for you. Who wouldn't want to be loved by three men let alone triplets. It kept me wanting more. I couldn't put it down for the life of me. I highly recommend any book by this author as she is a great writer and knows how to keep her audiences attention.

The book started off a little slowly and was hard at keeping my attention. But once I pushed through it became much better. Lots of steamy scenes for those who like them. I really liked the mfc. She went from a pushover as a child to a strong women that didn’t take crap from anyone. There were a few grammatical errors but none too noticeable or annoying. All in all it was a pretty good read. Loved the epilogues. I enjoy reading their lives further in the future. It’s always nice to see how it turns out.

There was too much plot for my mood. And it was a heavy plot. I wanted fluffy and smutty snowed-in vibes, but I got a FMC that was just cheated on who harbors her own secret and three emotionally stunted guys (with one having a drinking problem) and slowing healing dysfunctional family dynamics. Yeah, that was a lot to pack in.
This book suffered from a case of "telling instead of showing". I didn't feel invested in their relationships. The smut was mediocre. Kinda spicy, but ultimately lackluster from a lack of emotional depth.

When Kat Bishop, the youngest child of the wealthy and powerful South Carolina Bishops, brought home her school friend, Harper Olson, a little redhead with marine blue eyes, Harper entered a world that was profoundly different from young girl’s home experience. The only child of a dysfunctional mom who had no idea who had fathered her unexpected and basically unwanted child—a fact that mom publicly expressed whenever the “blight on her life” got in the way of mom’s pleasures. But luckily, Harper was able to thrive and flourish despite her unloving home.
Harper’s ability to survive her unloving home had much to do with her exposure to the family of Kat Bishop. Thankfully, Katherine Jane—Kat, the aristocratic Bishop family’s youngest child, and only sister to triplet brothers—Jackson, Aiden, and Nathan—quickly connected with her classmate, Harper. And Kat’s mom, Rose, was far more motherly than the selfish, self-centered woman who had given birth to the sweet, smart and beautiful young girl. And vicariously, Harper was able to see a different, more loving home which also offered her the opportunity to observe, and even experience, the nature of sibling interactions as Kat and Harper interacted with the older brothers.
Now, as adults, Harper and Kat have continued their friendship beyond their adolescent years and into their young adulthood. So, at Christmas, Harper has joined the Bishops in the French Alps where Kat’s family often celebrated the holidays. And for Harper, the invitation to fly to France was a true holiday escape—an escape from her doctoral studies in English literature, and an escape from her former fiancé, a professor at the university whom she discovered in a very indiscreet situation with an underclassman. Now, the formerly engaged doctoral student is once more single, and emotionally bruised from her fiancé’s betrayal.
But, what Harper doesn’t anticipate is the dynamics with her best friend’s older brothers. The brothers have branched out on their own—Jackson has become a lawyer, Aiden is a former member of the military, and Nathan, who was engaged to marry a high school sweetheart, has recently discovered that his fiancée was unfaithful to him with one of his former friends. And, the family’s mom and dad have recently gone through an ugly and very public divorce when photos were made public, revealing the patriarch’s affair with a member of his law office’s support staff. Now, during the holiday season of love and good will, bruised hearts have gathered far from their South Carolina home to celebrate and hopefully find peace.

Christmas with My Best Friend's Brothers, Book 1 of the Lucky Lady series, was about Harper Olson and triplet brothers, Jackson (the oldest), Nathan (the middle), and Aiden (the youngest) Bishop. Harper was the BFF to Kat, the sister to the triplets. They had been friends since they were in primary school, even though Harpers wasn't from a wealthy family like her friends. The triplets were holy terrors around Harper and their sister, and there had been times when things went horribly wrong...even to the point that, when they were adults, certain grudges were still being held by Harper towards each one of the brothers. When Harper caught her fiance in a compromising position with one of his students shortly before the wedding, she called everything off and, at the urging of her BFF, flew to France to spend Christmas with them. Her friend's mom even purchased the tickets. The only issue was that the triplets would be there too, and she wasn't looking forward to any bullying. However, that ended up not happening. Upon her arrival, the three men saw her in a different light, and the feeling was mutual. After only a short time, things got interesting between the four of them. This story was way too long for the plot. It honestly could have (and perhaps SHOULD have) ended twenty chapters sooner. It was told from four different POVs (Harper, Jackson, Nathan, and Aiden), which tended to make it overly indulged. But it wasn't just that which created the length. The story was so repetitive that it quickly became boring and flat. I lost count of how many times the FMC said she had a secret that could destroy everything (it had already been revealed to the reader after the FIRST time she said it, so why drag it out for 40 flipping chapters?!). This book was so full of OTT drama and fluff it was mind-boggling. I literally forced myself to finish the story, even though I wanted to quit around chapter 10. Every secret was already known to the reader long before they were revealed. The angst and drama of the book were a bit flat. Even the conflict was boring. Normally in a story like this, the emotional rollercoaster would be full of twists and turns, but that wasn't the case here. It was all so...monotone that it lost its appeal PDQ. I couldn't give it more than a two-star rating, and that was for the triplets alone.
I made the mistake of reading the follow-up to this story first (well, it contained fit cowboys, so who can blame me!). So, I already knew how things were going to turn out but sometimes, it’s nice to know the destination and then experience the journey it took to get there.
After reading this book, I now get a much better and clearer idea of the characters as individuals and how they ended up being the way they are. Childhood friends Harper and Kat grew up in very different households. Whilst the latter had wealth, a strong family unit and connections, Harper had very little in every aspect. But Kat and her family took Harper under their wing to give her the family she craved.
The slight problem were Kat’s older triplet brothers. They got off on ridiculing and pranking both girls relentlessly. However, as we learn, they were stupid boys hiding the fact that they actually liked the pretty, nerdy redhead.
Now that nerdy redhead had grown and matured into a smart, beautiful and sexy woman, the triplets found it hard to stay away. And so… they don’t. They are triplets so they are used to sharing everything, even their looks, but it doesn’t take long for them to decide to share Harper too.
But there’s a big, dark secret eating away at Harper. She knows when it’s revealed it could jeopardise and hurt everyone. Will she keep her secret to maintain her relationship, or risk sharing the truth despite knowing it may make everything fall apart.
Great story. Fantastic characters and wonderful storytelling. Didn’t expect any less from this author. Love her stuff.
The heroine is eager to get out of New York after canceling her wedding to her cheating ex-fiancé. Her best friend invited the heroine to spend the holidays with her family, which consisted of her divorced mother and her older brothers. The triplet heroes were former childhood bullies, and the heroine is wary about the grownup versions. However, as the heroes and heroine interacted with each other, the attraction that had sprung up during the holidays became too much to resist and they succumbed to such a delicious temptation of immeasurable pleasure. How can such a relationship survive after the holidays when each must face personal issues, their connected pasts, and the consequences of their actions?
This is a Why Choose? romance in which the heroes are focused on the heroine. There were relevant conversations that the heroes and heroine have that helped the romance move along. It would have been a better story when there were some details that could have been added to help certain situations much more palatable to accept. The sexy scenes weren't overwhelming, though I would have enjoyed some more of them. Lastly, the epilogues were definitely essential to the story and much appreciated. Overall, it's an enjoyable holiday romance.
**Thanks to the author and BookSprout for the review copy. All opinions and thoughts in the review are my own.**
An awesome Christmas themed romance and not just another steamy ménage Christmas with my Best Friend’s Brothers by Kai Lesy is a really fantastic Christmas romance on top of the ménage element. In addition, this romance is not just about the steam either. These characters are complex and full of conflicting emotions, all of the experiencing some type guilt each for their own reasons. I enjoyed each and every element of this romance. And the unsung hero, or rather heroine, is Kat. She is amazing in her openness and acceptance of Harper, Jackson, Aidan and Nathan. While things are smooth sailing during the long holiday break, it’s hit or miss for each of them individually once they return to their own work and lives. During this separation, Harper realizes she urgently needs to come clean with the whole Bishop family. It’s at this moment that everything these four characters want for forever might actually become their reality. Overall, this is an emotional and romantic read with the added benefit of the magic of Christmas as well as steamy hot ménage encounters that lead this foursome to a loving forever. This one was okay. I loved the individual personalities of all 3 brothers. The plot twist at the end got me when Harper got the whole family together to speak with them. She carried that guilt for years only to realize she didn’t do anything at all. I would’ve liked to have known what became of their dad after Meredith left him too. That’s 6 children the man has total now. Does he still see the little children? Obviously he doesn’t see his grown kids, but did Meredith let him see their children now that they’re no longer together? That’s 6 children and 2 wives he has supposedly abandoned. But I guess separating from Meredith was maybe his karma? It was a bit anticlimactic considering he was the reason all of the children were the way they were. Why they harbored all the emotional baggage that they did. I wish we could’ve found out what was going on with Kat too. She wasn’t in the epilogue or bonus chapter. Did she open her own tattoo studio like she wanted? Per Harper, we know she was happy but these are the little details I was wanting, although I understand she wasn’t a main character. 🌶️🫑 1.5 Spice- was very minimal.
Who needs the nice list when you have sexy triplets?
I personally loved this book, but obviously won't be posting this review to facebook for obvious reasons. (I really don't want to be responsible for my grandmother having a stroke) Set in the French Alps, our FMC, Harper, is running from finding her now ex-fiancé in a rather compromising position with one of his grad students just days before their Christmas wedding. What better way to get her mind off of it than by spending Christmas in the French Alps with her best friend's family?
Enter the sexy Triplets.
Jackson, Nathan, and Aiden might be identical triplets, but they couldn't be more different. In a family healing from their father's indiscretions and transgressions, can the three of them handle the budding chemistry with their little sister's best friend?
Can Harper forgive the triplets for how they treated her in the past?
Will this tear apart a family that is only just now piecing itself back together?
Will Harper's secret unravel it all?
Find out in this steam packed, delicious reverse harem by Kai Lesy.
DNF, I just don't care about the characters. This seems to want to be a quick holiday read from the cover but the author really wants to try and develop the brothers personalities. The book mentions past brotherly harassments that bordered on abuse but the FMC just blows it off and sleeps with them on a whim giving up her virginity. Which she held onto through her engagement and years long relationship.
There are too many potential plots as well. Each one of the triplets have their own issue which is the only way to keep them straight. Nathan jilted by his fiancé, Aiden in some sort of scandal that I can't figure out over halfway through the book, and Jackson drinking due to his anguish over his father re-marrying. And Harper the FMC that walked away from her wedding because the groom was cheating. The book isn't long enough to satisfyingly wrap everything up. Either make it about the guys failing in love with their sisters best friend or make it 3 times longer and resolve all the drama in a way that adds to the character development.

She was supposed to be in NY getting married. She is, instead, in France with her best friend and the triplets. The brothers that were so mean to her growing up that she has spent years avoiding them. They are grown now and hot as sin. But they are also still aholes. And there are apologies that need to be made. The brothers don't get along with each other, and she doesn't get along with them. How on earth will they all pull together, especially since she feels guilty about their father being out of the picture?
There was a typo or two, but this book just works so well. I wasn't expecting the twist on the guilty party, but the extra family drama made sense.
I enjoyed this book and there isn’t really any major drama. Harper has been BBF’s with Kat since kindergarten and comes from a family who didn’t care for her or want her really so Kat’s family home has been a haven to her and she loves Kat’s Mom Rose and Rose loves her. Kat has 3 older brothers (triplets) who used to be mean and bully Harper & Kat when they were younger. Harper turns up in their holiday home in France after finding her fiancé cheating and she hasn’t seen the brothers for years. All 3 brothers find her hot now and can’t believe she grew up in to such a beautiful woman, Harper and the brothers hook up during the Christmas break and it’s supposed to be a holiday fling. There are some hot smexy scenes throughout and each of the brothers haven’t exactly been close since their Dad left the family and each have their own issues to deal with. It’s an enjoyable read with a HEA and the only thing missing was any update on Rose and Charles in the epilogue. Looks like it’s Kat’s book next.
Oh boy, where do I start. This book started out so well and could have been so much fun, but it derailed around the 30% mark and just kept going.
The FMC's backstory changed partway through - initially she didn't know who her dad was and her mom just bailed when she reached adulthood but then halfway through her parents were both present but shitty because they were addicts.
The whole brothers bullying the FMC and her bestie through childhood just dissipated and she went from being terrified of them to admitting she'd had crushes on them? huh?
Several of the interactions were just so cringeworthy - "You and me. Where do you see this heading?" right after her telling off her ex-fiance....say what now?
And....why did she have to be a V? But of course, she went from V to vixen in less than two seconds. Can we stop doing that?
I expect reverse harems to be ridiculous but they should be fun and the characters should be consistent to be enjoyable.
This was a great menage romance. The characters were very relatable with amazing chemistry. There are a few twists you won't see coming. “We were human. We might make mistakes at times. We had our flaws, and I knew all of us had some healing to do. But I believed in us, and at the end of the day, that’s what mattered most.”
Harper has been keeping a secret from her best friend, well two secrets. She has been invited to the Bishop’s home in France for the holidays. She didn't know how she was going to face them after what she had done. But she needed to get away.
Aiden, Jackson, and Nathan are triplets. Since their dad's scandal, their family has fallen apart. It seems the one person that can help mend their family is the very person they tormented as kids. Their sister's best friend, Harper.
I quite enjoyed this reverse harem romance. Harper flies to France to spend time with her best friend over the holidays after a disastrous break-up. She re-meets her bullies from the past: Jackson, Aiden and Nathan. Now she is able to stand up to these men, and tell them off when it is needed. For Jackson, Aiden and Nathan, they can’t believe Harper is the same girl that they teased when they were younger. Sparks fly between them, and passion erupts. Harper is torn as she is deeply attracted to these three, but is keeping secrets from them as well as her best friend. There was a twist to this story that I didn’t expect, and found it emotional, and yet heartwarming in many ways.
