Christmas is fast approaching and Smokey wants to do something special for his woman. With all the bad memories within the clubhouse, he wants to replace them with good ones. The only way to do that is to turn his clubhouse into a wonderland. He needs the whole club's help and he doesn’t want Ava to know what he's planned. This will be the perfect surprise.

Ava doesn’t know why Smokey is acting strange. When Harlow also starts to lie and disappear, she wonders what's going on. She never imagined Smokey cheating, but when she sees Harlow and Smokey hugging, she has to wonder if he's having an affair. After everything they'd gone through, she never expected him to cheat.

All Smokey wants to do is celebrate Christmas with his woman. To give her memories that wipe out the bad ones he caused, but everything is falling apart. He would never cheat on her. Ava is his soul mate. His reason for fucking breathing. And he can never lose her.

Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

A really charming feel good Christmas novella where Smokey goes all out arranging the perfect Christmas wonderland surprise at the clubhouse for his woman. His main motivation being to replace her prior memories with something magical and good. Ava is feeling a little insecure and when she catches Smokey and Harlow out in a lie and some omissions she jumps to all of the wrong conclusions.

This was sweet and wholesome and all sorts of warm we have all of the gang and their recent offspring making an appearance here and breadcrumbs are sprinkled in for future stories which I’m definitely anticipating reading I enjoyed it a great deal it had a lot of heart.

Still feeling guilty, Smokey wants to create better memories for Ava with the club so he comes up with a plan to decorate and celebrate Christmas at the clubhouse. He wants to surprise Ava so everything is being done in secret. Should be easy, right?

Ava starts getting suspicious of Smokey's behavior lately and doesn't know what to make of it until she catches him in a lie. Smokey had the absolute sweetest and best intentions to surprise his woman at Christmas but it blew up in his face. Ava helped Smokey realize that he needs to let go of the guilt and move forward because she loves him and forgave him and the club.

This was an awesome Christmas special where we see Smokey's love and devotion for Ava really shine. He would do anything to keep his woman happy. I loved catching up with the Hell's Bastards MC and hope we see more from them soon.

This is a story of the 'best of intentions that went wrong' kind of plot ;) Smokey wanted to make better memories for Ava and planned a surprise Christmas do, but yeah, didn't manage to keep her from suspecting something was up. A lie, a hug to another woman and we end up with a logical assumption about him having an affair. Yep, so much trouble for him because he couldn't seem to accept her forgiveness. Nor did he have a great handle figuring out what she was thinking. Lol! Thankfully, this all gets sorted out but it's a wild ride getting there ;)

This was a fun filled story featuring all the craziness of Hells Bastards. Smokey wants Ava to have a great Christmas and stop hating the clubhouse. So he gets what he thinks is a great plan to have Christmas at the clubhouse. Then all the shenanigans happened and plans start to falter.
I really liked this one and hopefully two storyline that were mentioned.

This was a good novella and almost like an extended epilogue months after Raven’s book.

I especially liked the glimpse we see of Hunter and Harlow and the reveal of who Larissa’s love interest will be!

If you read Smokey, you know what happened. It was a dark story and heartbreaking. Smokey just wanted to give Ava the perfect Christmas. All the guilt from the past can’t wipe away all that he did to his woman. She is the reason he breaths. With the help of the club and some friends, they help to bring Christmas to the Hell’s Bastards clubhouse. Only problem, Ava is having doubts about herself and Smokey. He doesn’t seem to show passion that he once had for her. A lot of missed signals between the two. I know he meant well but he needed to let go of the past. Ava needed to stop doubting herself and know that Smokey would do ANYTHING for her. We also have a couple of side stories going. Hopefully we get to read about Harlow and her brother Big D, Hunter the clubs VP and Larissa the priest’s daughter. There is something going on there.

Smokey cant get past the guilt he holds onto, and wants to do something nice for her for Christmas at the club house, but its doesnt all go to plan. as the rest of the club and friends get involved can he pull of a Christmas miracle? well written, a great festive catch up with the club and the starters for some new romances!!!.

Great Little Christmas MC Story

Sometimes best intentions can go terribly wrong. All Smokey wants is to give Ava a great Christmas since some of her memories at the clubhouse hasn’t been all that great. Now with Smokey keeping secrets and Harlow working side by side with him to put this all together for Ava things just don’t look good. Ava has suspicions about Smokey and Harlow.

This was a great little Christmas MC book that had that good feeling vibe.

Hell's Bastard MC Christmas Special is a novella set in the Hell's Bastards MC series by Sam Crescent. If you are new to Sam Crescent's writing world, like me, I highly recommend you do what I should have done first and read Smokey, book 2 in the Hell's Bastard MC series. I fell like I am missing out on a crazily epic romance! I'm heading on over to amazon to purchase the first few books in this series and bingeing them ASAP!!

If you're not new to the Hell's Bastard MC Series and you love this series, I have a very strong feeling you are going to fall head over boots in love with Smokey and Ava all over again!! This novella definitely has me intrigued and looking forward to diving into the MC lifestyle.

I gave Hell's Bastards MC Christmas Special a four star rating due to a few moments where I had a hard time understanding and connecting with Ava's character. But that could be because I don't have the entire backstory yet.... We shall see!

Overall, I really enjoyed this sexy and swoony Christmas read and I can't wait to read more from Sam Crescent in the very near future!!

My rating: 4 1/2 stars

What I liked: I really liked how Smokey(H) wanted to give Ava(h) a great Christmas at the club to help erase the bad memories. You truly see how guilty he still feels and how much he loves her. Him getting down on his knees was so sweet (love, love, love that part)

What I didn’t like: I wished we got more. I also there was some repetitiveness.

***Major Spoilers/ Details/Triggers: This is a second book for the H and h. H is still feeling guilty over what he had done to the h, so he plans a surprise Christmas party for the h at the club. He is hoping that since the h loves Christmas he can replace the bad memory of the club with a special one. Unfortunately, since it is a surprise the h doesn’t understand all the secrecy going on and catches the H in a lie. h thinks H is cheating on her and gets upset. One of her friends tells the H that she thinks he is cheating and he right away goes to her and tells her about the surprise. H in front of everyone tells the h that she owns his heart and she is the only woman he wants. HEA with two new couples coming up.

Descriptive Sex: Yes

Final thoughts: I really loved getting more of Smokey and Ava. Can’t wait for Hunter and Big Dick’s books.

Smokey has a lot to make up for
Smoky decides that the MC clubhouse is going to be turned into this magical Christmas atmosphere so that he can show Ava how much she means to him. The only problem with doing a surprise is that trying to hide this from your loved ones can sometimes make you tell little white lies and if you’re caught out in this lies what do you imagine will be going through that persons head?? So smokey is all out to make this special for her. But in doing so surely involved gets mixed up with his lies.
My heart goes out for both Eva and Smokey, Smokey hasn’t forgiven himself for what happened to Ava at the clubhouse. He still sees images of her and he absolutely adores her with all his heart.
Ava has forgiven him for everything that happened and is enjoying life with Smokey and their son. But she wants Smokey to be a man he was and not treat her like she would break but under it all they do love one another.
This is a very good read.

This short, fun Christmas novella is for the HB MC fans. Everyone is in it, Raven & Carlos, Ugly Beast & Abriana, and of course Smokey & Ava. Many other secondary characters from the series are also in it including Hunter, Big Dick, Harlow and Larissa. The main story is about Smokey planning a surprise Christmas at the clubhouse for Ava, but there is also the set ups for future books about Hunter and Big Dick. While Sam includes enough for someone who hasn’t read the earlier books in the series, a lot of significance will be missed if they haven’t. It goes without saying it’s filled with spoilers for the first three books as well. It’s really best if you read the other books first and save this as a special treat for afterwards. My only real complaint is we never actually got to see them open Christmas presents!.

Before reading Hell's Bastards Christmas Special, if you have not read the previous books I would at least recommend you check out Smokey (the second in this series). Because Smokey and Ava, the main couple in this book, everything that Smokey is doing and why is not explained because it's already been played out in their book.

It's Christmastime!
Smokey and Ava are finally trying to move on and have their happy family after everything that has happened between them and the issues in Raven's book.
However, while Ava has forgiven everyone that was involved, Smokey still feels guilty for doubting her and putting her in the position she's in with the people inside the club and her uncomfortableness within the club.
Ava's made it known that Christmas is one of her favorite times of year, so Smokey is determined to make this Christmas one that she won't ever forget.
But all the secrecy and guilt that Smokey feels start to have Ava second guessing everything she thought she would never doubt. Doubting herself, their relationship, and even some friendships.
Is Smokey once again bound to mess up with Ava?.

Hmm I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this one. Having not read this series before I didn’t know it was a novella that relies on alot of backstory early on. With the many characters it makes such a short book very tough going.

I struggle with books about insecurities where there is no communication. And for this book it’s the central focus. It’s understandable given Ava has recently had a baby, with issues Re body image and her husband’s involvement in the MC … but talk to the guy love! For goodness sake. Otherwise this book just gives whiney, depressing vibes. And the MC guys just sound sappy, and not really MC’ish in this book.

I’m hopeful others in the series are better? I’ve enjoyed some previous books by this author but this one seemed a little directionless and a little boring, even with the teasers about Hunter and Big … George.

This was an AWESOME book! It helps to read Smokey to get the backstory but that doesn't mean you can't read this. First off, Harlow and Larissa need books!! Ok, back to this book. I find it odd that Smokey is the one who can't get over what happened to Ava. So Smokey decides to create better memories of the clubhouse for Ava. It's Christmas time so he decides to create a Christmas wonderland and decorate the entire clubhouse and gets Harlow to help. There begins the problem. Smokey wants to do this as a surprise, yep you guessed it, trouble starts. When he starts acting odd and since Ava is no dummy this creates doubt that Smokey doesn't want her anymore. I don't want to give anything away. Please read, you won't regret it.

Good but not very long - This is a couple you can like and easily root for. The story follows Smokey and Ava. You need to read the books in order. He want to repay her for all she had done for him, for all she had sacrificed and so he decided to give her the Christmas she has always dreamed of. The club and various friends all helped bring Christmas to the Hell’s Bastards clubhouse. Now Ava is having seconds thought as Smokey may love her but he doesn’t voice it and wouldn’t you know, couldn’t be at a worse time, she is doubting them. The story is good, but I just can’t warrant the steep 6 buck fee in Canada for 80 pages. I mean, come on! 😡.

This book was a fun and really good book though I read it before Christmas. Smokey the President wants to do something special for Ava his wife and that is turning the clubhouse into Christmas land. The bikers are getting trees and decorating them along with the clubhouse. The problem is he is stressing everyone out because he wants it perfect yet most don’t even know what it is to look like.
Then poor Ava because Smokey won’t talk to her or get down their own decorations from the attic thinks he does not love her anymore and has found a new woman. They began to fight or she does. A really good story of having a group of bikers working at decorating in real life would just be funny. A very good book and would even be worth the read now. I received this book from Netgalley.com

This book gives you the opportunity to meet the bad boy biker character's, and significant others, in the Hell's Bastards MC series. You get an introduction with a hint of drama, without spoilers. I am interested in reading there individual stories. However, it seemed like a computer translated the writing from another language and made it proper. Some of the grammar doesn't match the personalities that I would expect from bikers. For instance, I don't expect 'freaking' to come out of the mouth someone who rides a motorcycle. I am expexting more of a raw, bad boy, gritty personality from the MC members.

I paid 3.99 for a book that per my Nook is 86 pages long and that includes 5 pages of into and 10 pages for another book blurb, do the math! 71 page book for 3.99!!

This author is a one click read for me but I will have to start rethinking my purchases with her, lately the 100 page book for 3.99 is a pattern with her. Don't hate the truth, I own so many of Sam's books and love to see where Harlow and Larissa are going but I don't want to spend 3.99 for a book that is more novella then novel.

Great

Jeez will Smokey never learn .he should learn to talk to Ava and not assume he knows what she is thinking ..he is not very good at that .. He made her cry again, had her thinking he was having a affair ... Jeez, at least he finally came to the knowledge that he needs to let go of the gilt , that she has forgiven him and the club. Including Brick and Kinky , he finally realized he needs to let her heal and he is the one that is stopping her from doing it .

I love that we got to read about new attractions so there will be more books .YAY

A Hells Christmas.

What a great Christmas story.

As usual Smokey went to the ends of the earth to give Ava the Christmas she's always wanted . And like usual he seemed to have stuffed things up in his own way.

Luckily for him , with the MC at his back all went well until it didn't .
His guilt once again git the best of him and in turn miscommunication ensues.

Thankfully all ended the way it should .

It was going catching up with the Hell's Bastards MC again I look forward to reading more .

Oh I love this! All the Hell's Bastards united to celebrate Christmas. While my favorite couple is Ugly Beast and Abriana, I love that the story is centered around Smokey and Ava, there's so much to their history that it's interesting to know... Especially with the guilt that continues to gnaw at Smokey.
A family reunion, with a little bit of angst. I like that Smokey and Ava continue on their path to healing. And some surprises from other club members... Steamy, festive and sweet.

A sweet Christmas story. Smoky is trying to put together a surprise Christmas for Ava to make up for all him mistakes with her. Now Ava knows something is going on and a lie makes the rounds that Smoky is cheating on her. Ava is second guessing Smokey's feeing and doubting their relationship. Smokey learns his lesson about trying to surprise Ava and he needs to let go of his guilt so that Ava can move on. This was a very heartwarming Christmas story.

Smokey and Ava’s storyline here is he wants to give her a good Christmas memory to overcome all the bad memories he and the club caused her. But in trying to keep it away from her, she thinks he’s having an affair and doesn’t want her like that anymore. He only knows that she is the reason he lives and breathes but will he let go of the guilt he Carrie’s so she can heal and move forward she has already forgiven him.

This is the fourth book in this incredible series, and this is a great catch up with all the members. Smokey is planning as surprise for Ava, to create some new memories, and he is turning the clubhouse onto a Christmas wonderland, and all the members are sworn to secrecy. However, Ava is thinking the worst with all the secrecy. This is a well written story which is a fun and quick read, with humor, witty banter, emotions, intrigue, and love, which leads to a compelling page turner.

This is by far the sweetest addition of all the Hell’s Bastards MC books. It was all about the club President doing everything in his power to provide his old lady with best Christmas possible. Along the way there was some foreshadowing of potential romances to come in the club. Can’t wait to read what happens next!!.
