Frustrating couple. I kept finding myself shouting out loud 'no, no, don't do that, you need to talk first!' when they kept patching up their conflicts with a make-out sesh. I still rooted for them, though.

This one annoyed me.

Aron was annoying because he acted like a desperate child just wanting Quintons attention all of the time.

Quinton was annoying because he had the emotional intelligence of a peanut and I hated how his dumb ass actions were romanticized at the end.

The drama was annoying too.

And I get that they’re 17 and young but I still couldn’t enjoy the book because of it.

This book annoyed me so much. Quinton is a little piece of shit with zero communication skills. Aron seemed to lose all self-respect in this book, poor dude. It's not romantic, ngl. It's STUPID and ANNOYING and CHILDLIKE.

Also! Quinton forcing make out sessions instead of talking about his worries ? Hella irresponsible.

and one more point I still can't seem to accept. It's honestly unrealistic for Aron to be somehow content with the fact that Quinton dated Autumn (his best friend) for 2 years and even got intimate, while now claiming to be just friends. Yeah, that can happen, sure. Quinton is definitely loyal to Aron, and Autumn is just a cutie. But it doesn't work like that in real life, that's just delulu. It's risky to settle for a man who keeps his (first!!!!) ex partner of many years so close.

This series annoys me, but it's interesting to read. Guilty pleasure.

Being a teenager is that point in life when you're supposed to feel the urge to figure things out and inevitably make mistakes. For me, it’s dramatic, yes, but also one of the most important parts of growing up.

This volume helped me understand Aron and Quinton more deeply ♡ They’re just teenagers, pressured and forced to come out and face harsh consequences, all while trying to discover their own worth and meet the expectations placed on them. At some point, they begin choosing silence as a way to protect themselves from the pain they expect their decisions to bring.

Honestly, it got to me when they hurt each other like that. But I’m glad they eventually figured things out and realized that the best path forward is to keep learning and growing. It doesn’t matter how carefully you plan—life will always find new ways to trip you up. What matters is having the strength to get back up when those plans fall apart. i absolutely loved this book. i’m not necessarily a fast reader and read depending on the mood, usually taking two weeks to finish a book but this book had me constantly wanting to read. It’s enemies to lover and they get into a bunch of fights, towards the end they aren’t really enemies anymore, but the author still hooks you on just enough for you to be like “oo! one more chapter will be okay!” while it’s 2am. In my opinion, it you like BL with enemies to lovers that end up a bit more softer during the ending of the book with eachother, then i recommend this book.

I still don't entirely like Quinton. I mean, I know their relationship is all about teasing each other and such, but that idiot could have a normal conversation with the prince sometimes.

Thier lack of communication is killing me.

Sure, they had their sweet moments, but most of time they were annoying. (Especially Quinton)

I was talking about this book w/ my friend and she was like "omg spill the tea I wanna know everything". It felt like this story was happening in our school and was about people we knew. I love this feeling.

This is exactly how I will imagine a closeted gay teenager couple to act like but there are sometimes all the things they are doing can be avoided and why do they get in an argument then settle it by making out or Aaron is freaking out or need to discuss an important thing with Quinton and they just make out like the amount of walk of shame and scolding I did while reading this can not be recorded .

I get Quinton is not so emotional and is quite a practical person due to his circumstances but damn he is in a relationship and should know it’s not just him things affect.

Again the stubbornness and not learning his ( Quinton) lesson was very annoying in volume 1 he didn’t learn his lesson about Raina and just kept things to himself after the disclosure of his father and their friendship like come on you have been through this before .

And Quinton and Autumm dating for 2 whole years and getting intimate , being Quinton only friend and bestie is just wild like okay we get it they dated for the plot but sex seriously and sweet Aron being comfortable about it just scream fiction may be because it is 😂😂

The students not being scared and attacking Quinton was quite unrealistic and them also challenging Aron but at the ending was awesome and I love and appreciate the character development of Aron , Quinton not so much in some aspect but still love it .
