Best of the series

This was my favorite book of the series. To be perfectly fair and honest, I started this series because of the third book, which I saw the blurb for in a Facebook post. Not only is my daughter named Minerva, which was a nice little personal tie-in of it's own, but we are a polyamorous family and my husband and I both have other romantic partners and serious platonic partners. That drew me into the series, but I stayed because I loved the characters and the story shared.

This, the final book, may have been my favorite of the series because it dealt with someone that was "normal-passing," but still "othered" by her extended family and society as a whole. I love that Amarynth was finally able to find her voice and that Viv learned more about her partners and her half-sister through the series.
