2.5⭐️s… This one wasn’t quite as good as the first… it repeated itself A LOT and that was getting pretty annoying. I also think the editing could be better. However, there’s just enough of a question mark on some topics and the books appear to end on cliffhangers, so I would probably read the next one.
We continue to follow four friends as they work through some challenges. It's Ava's turn. She lost her job at a Portland bakery and has been having trouble finding a new one. She heads down to Bella Beach to help her friend settle in and regroup. An opportunity comes up tat would be a dream come true but is it worth the risk? This is a very enjoyable series, and I am looking forward to the next one.
Totally loving this series! Love each character , each with their own unique personality that makes these books so wonderful. I can't wait for the next book coming in April, although I wish it was march. Kate Wentworth is a wonderful author and highly recommend all her books. I hope she writes many, many more stories.
line as we continue to get to know 4 women who have been friends since college... With all of them at a crossroads in t heir life, it's exciting to see which direction they take! LOT of editing issues in this book took away from my reading enjoyment... Hopefullythings were edited better in the next one[s].
I am loving seeing this series develop further after loving the first one, I enjoy Ava as a character and was so happy when she returned to Bella Beach with Emma, these are a great duo and the dreams of Ava’s bakery remains alive, will the Pink Pigeon be Ava’s or will something else drag her back to Portland?
Always wanting to own a bakery and giving your 20 years of life to it. You are used and then fired. So you finally find a place to have your dream but it’s not a sure thing. Such are life choices.
I think I liked this one even more than book one. The mystery of the family secret keeps unfolding bit by bit. Ava has a big decision to make. Hoping she makes the best choice.
This was a great story and storyline great characters. It's a story that gives u hope in Ava's life in both personal and business life. I would recommend for all to read
Bella Beach had brought peace to Emma and Ava. Then a few things happened to cause them concern. But their new and old friends are there to help them through this next trial .
I read the six books in this series in less than 2 days! They are wonderful! And now I have to wait over 5 months until the next one comes out!!! I was really engaged in the stories, the characters, and their lives.
Another great book in the series! I love how we get to hear from all the characters so we don’t have to miss them from one book to the next. (I hope Ethan stays the heck away for good)
I love that this book picked up right where the other book left off. Just like the last book, I was able to fall right into the story line and felt like I was one of the girls, doing life with them as they were with each other. Loved the whole book.
Another great book in this series. Fun seeing how their lives are moving. I will definitely be reading the rest. Have to find out what happens to them all.
