On the verge of being homeless Gwen is desperate to find a job. After losing her family and fighting for years to stay alive she is at her wit’s end. As a last desperate attempt, she applies for a job at a prominent realty agency. But who and what she finds there will completely change her life. As vampires, they have been hiding their true identities for hundreds of years. Though Gwendoline is pure temptation they only risk exposure when her life is at stake.
Tanja is a spicy romance author who loves to write about strong female characters, loving love interests, and the occasional vampires and werewolves.
Besides writing she is a mother and nursing student, with a hectic life and an ever-changing work schedule. Writing is her escape from reality in which she can let go of all the stress that comes with managing a family of three and balancing work and private life.
You know how erotica gets a bad rep because it is just sex without much plot. Well.. this would have been 10x better if it was just a short erotica, and not all these houndreds of pages where all she does is go to work that adds absolutely nothing to the story. Why is this 450pages long?!
Rating: 4.5/5 I received a eARC for my honest opinion
I could put this book down, I read it in 1 day. The flow and characters really kept me wanting to know more. I mean who doesn’t love a good vampire book, and one that is reserved harem. I don’t know about you but if you love paranormal romances then this book is a great choice.
I loved the characters in this book, from Gwen to “ 3 brothers”. They were well rounded characters with their flaws and their strengths. I loved Rayen, Silas and Amon bickering throughout the whole book. I was an instant fan of Rayen but not Amon or Silas but the more and more that I got to know the characters I started to like them as well. I heart ached for Amon and his story the most and I think learning about his story really helped me fall for him.
I thought Gwen handled learning about her new bosses being vampires really well, I think I would have done the same thing, oh and I would have had a lot of questions for them as well.
I thought Gwens story with her twin is really heartbreaking but is something that most people could understand/relate to. Maybe not exactly but in some way I think everyone goes through that. I loved that Gwen finally gets to have a happily ever after, after the heartache that she has had to deal with.
I loved the spicy scenes in this book, now be prepared. There is some blood play in this book and other triggers so make sure to read the warnings before reading. If you have and you’re okay with them then I do not think you will be disappointed with this book at all. This book is well written, entertaining and an easy read. I would rate the spice level of this book at 4, I mean with all of Longoria's books you won’t be wanting more when it comes to the spice level.
I want to thank Tanja Longoria and Booksirens for the opportunity to read and review this novella.
Whew! It has certainly been a while since I have come across such a long novel, especially a paranormal romance. Thus concludes my negative comments…. That being said, this literally is one of the best novels in this category that I have EVER read. This is the first time I have ever read from this author and I cant believe that this author is not more popular. I think the reason why paranormal romances tend to be shorter is because they run out of things to say. Unless it is some grand adventure or mystery. I cant even put in words how pleasantly surprised I am that with out the shoot em up, war against the government, or war againt other vampire factions, this novel kept my attention page after page. I am not ashamed to admit, I can be a skimmer if the content gets too dry and I assumed that would be the case with this story. The characters were well thought out and executed. Even the secondary characters where handled with care and thought. The scenery was described beautiful. The FMC wasn't some sappy push over. The author took the time to not only have each of the three relationships develop, and with different dynamics, but they took the reader on the journey. I had no problem getting lost in their lives and seeing through their eyes. Don't even get me started on the spice! The care and attention to detail that the author put in to the actions and environment of the scenes was incredible, and there were just enough of them sprinkled in to the book at just the right times. Would I have loved for them to get to it sooner? YES! Please read the trigger warnings before reading because this book goes there. But I understand this was a slow burn. Hands down the best book I have read in 2022.
ARC review: I devoured this book. I couldn't put it down. There's so much tension in the first few chapters that you could actually feel it with every turn of the page. And these characters are so well written, you can't help but love them.
And who doesn't love a reverse harem with three handsome vampires. Now, I will warn you, there is some blood play and if it's not your thing to read, that's perfectly okay. But if you're looking for something a little dark but full of romance and spice, read this book.
I loved all the relationships in this book and the bickering between Rayen and Silas, Amon was the one who held my attention. At first, I wasn't a fan. He was a huge dick to Gwen. However, when you finally find out why, you can't help but fall in love with him and his non-beating heart.
Gwen's relationship with her twin is very sad but something that a lot of people go through that is never really talked about in books and it's nice to see real-life situations written about in fiction.
This book is a stand-alone but I wouldn't mind a few novellas about each character before they all met.
I've enjoyed reading RH novels for a while now, so I was so excited to have the opportunity to read the ARC of Unconditional Love! The rollercoaster of emotions I had while reading this book was crazy. I loved the relationship between the characters and how each of the men had different personalities and histories. I also really loved reading about Gwendoline and her twin sister. As a twin myself, their story was truly heartbreaking and really made me appreciate how author Tanja Longoria was able to display the connection and everlasting love of a twin and best friend. I'll be honest the blood play was not really for me, but I appreciate how it was noted in the warnings so that I knew I would be reading about it. Other than those scenes, I thought the novel was a great read. Although the supernatural aspects are fantastical, the relationship dynamics were believable and moved at a realistic pace. I would definitely recommend this book! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
If you enjoy vampire PNR, reverse harem with steamy sex, and don't mind blood play, this is the book for you. Be sure to read the trigger warnings. I enjoyed the book; it was entertaining, easy to read, well written, with good characters and an interesting plot. Frankly, I don't mind blood play but I do get uncomfortable reading scenes with period play. I was able to get through that chapter and still liked the book overall, as I like Tanja Longoria. Who wouldn't want 3 hunky men to be at their beck and call?! The three men are all very different from each other, and they all have different relationships with Gwendoline. They are almost too sweet, jumping at the chance to fulfill every desire that Gwendoline has. The last decade has been painful for her, so I feel she now deserves a little happiness. I will look forward to reading more books by this author. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
If you like Reverse Harem Romance and vampires, you have come to the right place! Tanja Longoria has given us all the most wonderful Christmas present with Unconditional Love!
Gwen hit the jackpot when her new employers turn out to be the paranormal reverse harem dreams are made of.
Playfulness, praise, and dominance all get their turn with Rayen, Amon, and Silas. I really don't know who I would pick if I had to choose just one- do it is lucky for Gwen, and I, that the trio is amenable to being a quad.
As always, the emotions, descriptions, and relationships are well established. You can't help but feel for the past, shared and solo, of the main characters.
I love Tanja's writing style and am always thrilled to see what she comes up with next.
Content warning: blood play, period play, sexual assault, character in a vegetative state, death
This is the first book I have read from this author and I found a beautiful full length RH love story! I was grateful for the multiple POVs so we could understand where the male characters were though-out the story, but I loved that a majority of story focused on her POV. I felt as though we were meeting each of the men at the same time she was.
I appreciated how the story moved smoothly and didn’t rush their relationship, however, I did feel the last portion of the story was rushed. It ended nicely, but I felt there was just a little more time to reach that final point based on the men’s stories. Not bad moving through this quickly, but just jumped from each stage a little too fast for what I expected.
Overall, fantastic story and I plan to read more by this author based on this book.
Hands down my favourite book by tanja ❤️ with every book she grows and grows! We even had proper words used at nearly all times for a clit!
Being the moron I was I didn't realise this was a book about vampires but it was a pleasant surprise and also a huge improvement on her last vamp one (paws and fangs). And there are some absolutely hilarious moments, I was in stitches!
I actually loved every man in the harem too which I barely ever do! Each one was so different to the other, that made it a very interesting book to read ❤️ although silas will always be my no.1
If you have issues with blood then do not read this book though 🤣 (goes hand in hand with vampires I guess though!)
I feel compelled to explain this review more than others. The pros: there is a (predictable) plot, the guys all have different personalities and backstories that we get to hear about, the main character has a personality. The spicy scenes were good. I enjoyed the authors takes on the vampires were solid. The cons: I think I don’t like 3rd person. I felt very detached from the book - speaking of, this is a I’m going to tell you everything not show you book which is a general bummer. I wanted more conflict either from the SA or from her sister. Overall I was interested enough to finish but I was moderately bored.
Let me preface this review with a little reminder to read the trigger warnings before reading.
That said, OMG I could not put this book down! Tanja did an amazing job of making the reader feel the angst and tension right along with the characters. I honestly did not want the book to end and would definitely love to have more of these characters stories before they met and an epilogue on where the future took them.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I could not put this book down! So good! Paranormal RH, with a little bit of dark and a whole lotta spice. I adored Gwen's individual relationships with all 3 of the guys, especially Silas. I definitely love an over protective, possessive cinnamon roll for his girl. A lot of praise, which is my kinda kink. As the guys are vampires, of course there is some tasteful blood play. Their relationships are so well written, you feel like you are in the story, feeling exactly what they are feeling. Amazing read!
I thank Booksirens and the author for this ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review. A paranormal romance with three sexy vampires? Um,ok! Please read the trigger warnings so that you are prepared for what's to come. Gwen is a lovely and caring woman who's twin is in a nursing home after an accident. She starts a job where her three employers are interested in a reverse harem situation. Even though I was a little worried about what I read in the trigger warnings,I was able to look beyond that and pretty much enjoyed the story.
Meh. It was okay, had some promise, but then just veered off into vampires (it was in the summary, but it wasn't really set up for well, didn't seem all that realistic) and main character went from killing it at her career to just hanging around with them and it seemed like it diminished her as a character to not have that purpose/stucture. Idk. Slogged through until the vampires and then what was barely held together seemed to all fall apart and I DNF'd.
This was such an enjoyable book to read. Reading this book was such a nice change of pace from the angst filled teenage/college drama or dark romance. There was enough character development and growth that this wasn’t a sweet, no conflict read either. (Although I love those too). The guys and their backstory provided great insight on how they relied on each other, and I loved how Gwen fit into the group dynamics and made them better.
I absolutely enjoyed this book. This book contains a reverse harem which consists of vampires. This book contained the perfect amount of romance and spice. There was some blood play involved of course. Gwen and her guys (Rayen, Silas, and Amon) are Amazing and the dynamic and backstories were perfect when reading. Tanja did not disappoint with this book and I look forward to reading more of her work.
If you love vampire books but wanted something a little on the sweeter side then this is the book for you. There were some serious feels throughout but the relationship between her the her men was so sweet (once she learned what they were). I loved watching her grow in confidence.
I liked having all the points of view. There were some new ways of thinking how vampires live. However, the story seemed to drag in parts of it. Also, I think there should have been a lot more interaction between the men, especially if they have been together that long.
Gwen, Rayen, Silas, and Amon made for excellent pairings in the paranormal RH. I loved the relationship building and backstories of all the characters. Longoria is a great author - if you're in the mood for some spicy vampire times then look no further than Unconditional Love!
I loved this book. The characters each made you feel different ways and watching them come together, support each other, heal each other and love each other was so satisfying. The drawings were the icing on the cake!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I wasn’t sure about this book until I got into it, it’s a bit static and there are some errors that appear throughout but overall I liked the story and the growth of the characters.
There was no villian and no conflict. This is really a story about three vampires and a human falling in love. There is an attempted SA but it's brief so not terrible.
This is a new author for me and I’m so excited to read the rest of her books. This was a great story and was well written. I think I would have liked the story to be a bit longer and the ending not to feel as rushed. I don’t know how I feel about her turning SO quickly after meeting them and getting back together. Regardless, I loved the story and can’t wait to read Crystal Luna next.
