wow

This one was substantially better than some before it. Here we get into more of the split plot.

There are murders to be solved.
Traitors to kill.
More mysteries to be uncovered.

I am genuinely enjoying this series. It keeps me entertained, has an easy storyline to follow. The only thing I am confused about is the age of the second son. If the king and queen hadn't been together in 10 years and the son existed before Kendo was born(which was over 20yrs ago), how in the world is he only 5 or 6? Other than that massive plot hole, I am loving this world.
