Oh my this is such a fabulous read! Shelby is working a Merry-Con for her crafting business. She meets Eli, her teen crush Hollywood hearthrob. All she sees is a grumpy Grinch and she's no longer impressed. The attraction between them is intense. Will Eli finally realize there's actually such a thing as a Hallmark ending? Can Shelby overlook his stardom and see the man he really is? Would Eli reveal his feelings for Shelby and would she believe anything is possible at Christmas if you believe? I ABSOLUTELY recommend this 5⭐ebook to get the answers to these questions and more. I flew through this story and couldn't put it down. I'd give it 10⭐s if I could. This ebook is filled with excitement, family drama, friendships, hot passion, and love. Of course when you add well meaning friends, a meddling parent, and a grand gesture, you get even more spice. Whew!😁 Bravo to this talented author for her great writing. She grabs your interest and doesn't let go. Her descriptive writing gets you so involved in her characters lives that you find yourself giving them advice or a good talking to. I wanted to tell Eli to just be himself and open up his heart to love and Christmas.😁 You will just have to get this surefire hit to find out if he listened to me. I know that you will love this ebook as much as I do. You won't be disappointed I promise!😁❤.

Hallmark movie vibes meets open door love scenes makes a great match. Shelby loves everything about Christmas. Loves hallmark movies too. And Meri Con is just that. The two combined. This year she’s got a booth set up at it. Plus she’s teaching the celebrity actors how to make an ornament. On her first day she’s instantly reminded why she doesn’t care for or watch the movies Eli stars in. He has never shouted real to her. But forced. Fake. So when he comes in and is all grumbly and rude. Scaring the poor event staff it all made sense. Eli doesn’t like Christmas. Or being on all these hallmark movies only. He did one for his mom then only got calls for them. But once he sees Shelby he’s fallen. And getting to know her is a challenge he gladly excepts. He has become his own hallmark movie. Trying to win her over. She tries hard not to fall. Reminding herself how he is. She doesn’t lie or hold back her feelings to him either. But through his persistence he does eventually win over his own leading lady. Now hallmark movies don’t seem that cheesy or corny and fake to him after all.

Peppermint Passion is book 3 in the Christmas and Curves Series by Hallie Bennett.
Eli is a true Christmas grump. Picture your favorite Hallmark Christmas movie actor, then picture them hating Christmas. That describes Eli. Shelby is, of course, the opposite. She loves Christmas, in fact, she sells snow globes and ornaments and such at a booth at Merrycon. When she sees the movie actor ranting about Christmas, she pegs him as the true grump he is, but once she gets to know him, she finds there may be reasons for his feelings toward the holiday.
This is a sweet holiday novella that can be read in about an hour. The storyline is great, and the chemistry between the main characters was perfect. I have read lots of books by this author and I always enjoy them. I was happy to read this holiday romance and plan to go back and read the two previous books in the series.

A marvelously written with amazing characters a great page turner, a steamy romance with a happy ending. A curvy business owner meets up with an actor who acts like he doesn’t like Christmas, she thinks of him as a grinch. The business owner notices him when he’s cursing at some light but they don’t really meet until she host a Christmas event that he’s in. After that he talks her into helping him make a gift for his mother. The business owner thinks that the actor is a grinch after the way he talks about Christmas but later she finds out why he acts like that. They met by chance while her business hosted a Christmas event that he was in at the MerryCon. But after that he made she they would see one another again either by asking her to help him with making a wreath for his mother to following her to a bar he knew she would be at. The only thing that the actor did count on was that she would kiss him while they were under the mistletoe and how that one kiss would change the feeling that already had for her so when she left he followed and after some talking they kissed again. The actor’s mother helped him get a dater with the business owner as well as getting her number. The two went to charity gala together. While there they sat and talked to an elderly woman. After dinner they went out on the balcony where she was trying to get some air, they talked and had sex. When the actor took the business owner home they talked, she knew that the actor was leaving the next night so she let him go knowing that she would probably never see him again and that this wasn’t one a Hallmark movie where at the end the couple would wind up beating the odds to get together. She went into her home and he drove off. The actor couldn’t sleep so he went to the hotel’s gym, the thought about what the woman said to them and he started thinking, he called his manager. The actor and his mother was at the table he was asigned to and when it was time his spot was roped off. He and his mother moved to where the business owner had her booth, in his hand was a container of Snickerdoodles that he made for her. He put the container of cookies down and started singing Blue Christmas. They talked and after a couple of stray tears fell she agrees and the kissed. The actor lives in the town where she’s at, he did have an apartment but after a while they decided it would be better if he just moved in with her since they were together most of the time. The actor still acts, he will go of a week or so while he as a part to play and during that time they text and talk on the phone. They are in a hotel room, the business owner his giving him oral sex to get him to go to the MerryCon. The actor at times can still be a bit of a grinch. But they loves one another.

Eli is a star actor in the one genre he doesn't care about, Christmas romantic comedies! Now his agent is making him attend the ultimate/all things Christmas event, MerryCon. Oh save him, please! Shelby, just like every other teenager, grew up having a crush on Eli. He was "Thee" teen heartthrob when she was young. She's seen his attitude and it's not attractive. He doesn't even act like he likes Christmas! When he sees her, she looks just like she belongs in one of the movies he acts in. All he can think about is unwrapping her like a present. Nope, not Christmas magic, just lust. Or is it? She's seen his true colors and his bah humbug attitude and when he approaches her about helping him make his mom a handmade present, she's not impressed by his charm. She's not. . .Darn her romantic heart! And man, is he hooked, no matter how Christmas rom/com cliche it is. his heart wants her. Goodbye humbug, hello holiday miracle!.

This was a cute story where the MMC is a hallmark leading man who is jaded about love and what he feels is the ridiculousness of romance in hallmark movies. The FMC is a local small biz owner in a small town where basically a hallmark Christmas movie convention is taking place and she’s a vendor there, the MMC is there for a required appearance.
They have their own little cute, hallmark-esque connection, with some steam added in.
While the ending is expected, it doesn’t detract anything. I enjoyed it and recommend it for a fun holiday read 🥰

This was a cute story where Eli, who doesn't believe in Christmas romance miracles, is an actor of Hallmark-type Christmas romance movies and more than a bit jaded, falls in love with Shelby, a gal with a custom handmade crafts store.
I've read a few other books by this author, several I really liked, but I just wasn't feeling the romance in this one. I thought maybe I just wasn't in the right mood, so I didn't review it then and reread it 4 or 5 days later, but honestly it didn't get better for me. It just wasn't very romantic in my opinion. Too much of the dialogue seemed corny or cliché.
There was some humor that helped redeem the story. So if insta-love stories are your jam, you'll like this one.

MMC/FMC- Eli and Shelby POV- 1st person dual Genre- Contemporary Romance Sub Genre- Holiday Romance (Christmas) Heat- 🌋🌋☄️ (1🌋=2☄️) with dirty talk Series? Y Safety? Y, with a HEA. Trigger Warning- Explicit Erotic Content, Karaoke. Grinch Warning- Christmas Spirit 🎄🎄🎄 Tropes- Instalove, Small Town Romance, Mistletoe, Elf/Grinch, BBW, Forced Proximity (Convention).
Thoughts- This one is about a star of Hallmark Christmas Movies and the owner of a local crafting store. If it sounds like a setup for a Christmas movie, it is. This book is the written equivalent of one. It gets a bit meta, but it kind of has to. The book is not deep or profound, but it is cute and it leans into the Hallmark movie trope.

I think that Shelby best sums up my feelings on reading romance stories , when she's talking to Eli about Hallmark movies and why people love them:
“We're not stupid. We understand it's fictional. But that's part of its charm. We can sit back, relax, and know in the end that this couple is going to live happily ever after. That's comforting. It's an escape.”
This story was like watching the abridged version of a Hallmark movie. It was sweet, had a whirlwind romance, a grand gesture, and lastly the happily ever after ending. It's also had that adorable sidekick that makes the movie, and in this case was Eli's mom.

Peppermint Passion is a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, Christmas themed, curvy girl gets her hunky actor romance. Eli is a grumpy, hunky Christmas movie actor who dislikes Christmas. Shelby is a sassy, curvy crafter working at MerryCon where Eli is making celebrity appearances. When Eli sees her, he is instantly attracted to her and works to meet her. At first, she thinks he's just another entitled actor but then sees that he is genuinely nice. They spend 48 passionate hours together, but what happens when MerryCon ends? Can love last, or is it a fling? This couple had great chemistry, and we do get a happy ending. I loved it!.

The third installment of Hallie Bennett's Christmas and Curves series of standalones is a fabulously entertaining sweet and steamy holiday instalove romance. Eli is a former teen-heartthrob turned Hallmark romance stalwart - who is rather grinchy in spite of it. When he is forced to make yet another appearance at the annual MerryCon event, he meets store owner and gifted crafter Shelby. Her holiday enthusiasm is the complete antithesis to his feelings about the season, but it isn't long before the gorgeous curvy successful businesswoman's cheer is rubbing off on him. But can two complete opposites make a go in the real world? Sweet and swoony, this is a wonderful, quick holiday romance.

Former teen star, Eli (H), might make his living starring in made-for-tv Christmas movies, but he doesn’t have any love for what he believes to be the false romantic world they portray. He has to make his appearance at MerryCon, a celebration of holiday romantic movies and all things Christmas, where he meets Christmas crafter Shelby (h). Eli makes a less than stellar initial impression on Shelby, but as they get to know one another, things heat up between the two and she begins to melt his stony heart. Sweet and steamy Christmastime romance that really reads like a Hallmark movie where the grumpy movie star falls for the sweet local girl and changes his outlook on life.
4.3⭐️ Grumpy Christmas Rom-Com Actor falls for Sunny Curvy Artisan
I’ve read several of Hallie Bennett’s short stories & have thoroughly enjoyed them. This one was enjoyable, but not my favorite of what I’ve read of her’s. It was definitely steamy, but because it was so short, there wasn’t quite enough of it. I liked the characters and how she developed them so quickly. I would have liked it to be a tad longer, but enjoyed it none-the-less. I really liked that I didn’t notice any blatant editing issues. That’s a big plus for me! 😁.

Ever heard of comic-con and wished there was a Christmas alternative?? Well look out cause here comes MerryCon!!
Eli acts in Christmas room comes but doesn't actual care about them, so to have to attend MerryCon isn't his idea of fun. On the opposite side of the coin is Shelby, she grew up watching Eli's movies and always had a crush, she can't wait to go and have a chance to meet him! But when she sees his bad attitude will it ruin the image she had of him? And when he asks her for help, will she put aside what she's seen and and give in?.

This was a wonderful conclusion to an amazing series...if you haven't read the Christmas and Curves series by Ms. Hallie, I highly suggest it and all of her series. You will not be disappointed!
Eli and Shelby meet at MerryCon; Eli is an actor in the Hallmark type Christmas movies...he hates being typecast and doesn't enjoy it and Shelby is a local artisan with a booth at the con. They meet during the ornament making contest, get to know each other and Shelby might just be want Eli needs to get into the Christmas spirit again.
Loved this book and series!.

I loved Peppermint Passion: A Curvy Girl Christmas Romance Christmas & Curves. Shelby loves Christmas and Eli does not which is funny considering he’s an actor who’s in a lot of Christmas movies. Go figure. Eli is drawn to Shelby, he loves that she doesn’t fawn over him but her love of the holidays should scare him away. Shelby shouldn’t fall foe the grinchy Eli but she does but they are too different. Can the grump and the merry girl make a go of it? This is a short and sweet story, and I loved the characters. A fun Christmas read. I would definitely recommend this book.

Peppermint Passion is the third installment in Halle Bennett’s Christmas and Curves series. In it she chronicles the romantic journey of Shelby Height and Eli Cooper. She is an artesian who participates in the MerryCon event as a vendor. Eli is a leading star in the latest Christmas Romance movie. This is an adorable and delightful contemporary holiday romance. Ms. Bennett masterfully uses literary devices such as strong ad likeable primary and secondary characters; outstanding dialog, both conversational and internal monologue; dual POV; and vivid descriptive scenes. In so doing, Ms. Bennett captivates her readers’ attention.
Eli didn't believe "Hallmark" Christmas magic because of the longing left on him by his mother longing for the love Hallmark portrays. Shelby wasn't necessary for the Hallmark Christmas but she loves the feel of the season and plus her business was about the season and crafts. Eli got one glance of Shelby and maybe the Grinch would get a chance at love and growing heart...a little conversation, some kissing and a whole of vulnerability.
I am not big Hallmark fan either but these books and the movies have a little Christmas magic and does rub off if you let it...just a little though.

An absolutely adorable Christmas romance you won’t want to miss. Eli is jaded about the holidays. Even though he makes Christmas movies, he doesn’t believe in the magic of Christmas love. Until he sees curvy Shelby-a vendor at MerryCon and his world turns upside down. Shelby doesn’t want to “hang out with this Christmas Grump—who’s also a Holiday Hunk”. Find out what Holiday magic happens to bind two hearts together!.

This entertaining short romance checks a lot of boxes, as it is quick and easy to read, with instalove and grumpy/sunshine tropes, as well as some steam. As is usual for books by Hallie Bennett, it has a dirty talking hero and a curvy and sweet heroine. I like the author's writing style, the secondary characters (Eli's mom is a hoot), and the chemistry between Eli and Shelby. I eagerly anticipate her next book! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Eli swoony actor in Christmas romantic comedy films is certainly not typecasted to mirror his real life. He loathes everything about it. So he’s not exactly over the moon when his agent signs him up for ‘MerryCon’ Cue Shelby who has crushed on him from being a teenager who is his opposite, loves everything Christmas. Has a snow-globe and trinket booth there…Ever the Twain shall meet and fall in love. First impressions are not always the best. This was a great quick compelling story, a feel good holiday read.

I'm thinking that this grump has changed his ways! All it took was finding the love of his life. The Christmas cheer was present here and everything was real and sweet.
He didn't have the happiest outlook on life. Then he met her...
And he fell hard! I love a grump read and this was sweet. The timing is right for love in this town! The story is cute and I am so happy he got a new perspective on things. Love changes so much and makes things worthwhile. A sexy and sweet story.

So many good books based on Christmas at the moment and this is one of them. Eli does not like Christmas and Shelby is the total opposite. When these two are brought together at an event called Merrycon you can feel the attraction between them. Eli’s mum pushes these two together to attend an event and their blossoming relationship takes off. Although this was a quick read it was very enjoyable with a great story and endearing characters with a guaranteed happily ever after.

Eli is an actor specializing in Christmas movies. He meets Shelby at a MerryCon that takes place in her town.
Shelby had a crush on Eli when they were both teens. He's been acting since then. When he shows interest in her she's surprised. He soon figures he's got to show her that he's serious about wanting her permanently. Will these two work out their lives to get their HEA?
I LOVED Eli's mom.

Eli Cooper is a holiday romance actor who didn't think his job was going to go the way of holiday movies. He has always wanted more for himself and his attitude is showing it. When he does a meet and greet in a small town the last thing he thinks is to meet the adorable Shelby. Shelby is working at Merry-Con and when she sees the actor Eli she thinks is cute well her bubble is about to burst when his real-life attitude grates on her nerves. Eli will have to show Shelby who he is. Can these two get along or will they go their separate ways when the show is over?
Peppermint Passion (Christmas & Curves) was sweet. The plot was filled with annoyance with Christmas festivities, having an epiphany, and falling in love. Eli and Shelby, the protagonists, ended up right in the middle of their own Hallmark movie which helped them reach their HEA. Overall, I liked the novella; however, the epilogue was a bit much with Eli's spicy language. I received a copy for free and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
Hallie Bennett writes the best books! I loved the grumpy Eli and the sunshine that is curvy Shelby. Eli is an actor for Hallmark movies but doesn’t believe in the love and HEA they represent. Shelby believes that anything is possible. Together, they complement each other on several aspects. I fell I. Love with these characters! This holiday novella is a joy to read and I would definitely recommend it!.
