Trey Walker has one major flaw as far as he’s concerned: he impulsively falls in love too easily and too often. That reckless impulse resulted in several failed relationships, not to mention the implosion of his marriage. And what’s the best way to ensure you don’t make that mistake again? That’s easy. You shrug off relationships for good.

And it was working for him.

Right up until it wasn’t.

Trey was on a winning streak until fate threw him a curveball eighteen months ago when he crossed paths with Magnus Storme, the smoking hot, ridiculously persistent twenty-four-year-old owner of Camp K-9. Using the 12-year age gap as an excuse, Trey managed to resist Magnus … for about a minute. Did he mention Magnus was persistent? His first mistake was taking Magnus home, thinking one night with him would get the man out of his system. One night turned into two, then a week, a month, two…

After a year, Trey still adamantly denied falling for Magnus, which meant he wasn’t only lying to Magnus, he was lying to himself.

Just when Trey’s life seems to be cruising along the right track, another unexpected turn arrives, this time in the form of a woman from Magnus’s past. Only Ava March isn’t just any woman, she’s one Magnus has a history with, and now Ava needs him.

Trey has to make a decision: live in denial and walk away from the man he loves or accept that his feelings are in direct contradiction to everything Trey thought he knew about himself.

This MMF romance can be read as a standalone; however, Trey, Magnus, and Ava’s story picks up where things left off in Confessions from the Brantley Walker: Off the Books series.

Trigger warning: While this book is about love, healing, and perseverance, some readers may find the retelling of the physical abuse Ava suffered at the hands of her husband difficult to read. >

Where do I begin? There is just so much to say about Trey, Magnus, and Ava's story but I think the most important thing is THANK YOU Nicole for writing this one. I have been following Trey and Magnus for a while now, while Trey was working with his brother Brantley on the OFF THE BOOKS Task Force he was by his side helping solve some cold cases and some current ones and during that time we were introduced to Magnus the K-9 instructor. We've watched their relationship grow from a one-night stand to something more, something that Trey really didn't want to admit to, and during this time I kept hoping that we would get more of them. Then the unthinkable happened in CONFESSIONS*, Magnus' friend Ava went missing and he was accused of Kidnapping her. Trey, Brantley and the rest of the Team devoted their time to finding her and finding her they did only that was just the beginning of things. So THANK YOU NICOLE for giving us what we so desperately wanted, Trey to get his own story and find his true HEA.

In this story we learn what it is to love, heal, and move on to a better life. Ava not only has the love of her longtime friend guiding her back but also Trey who spends time with her helping with whatever is needed so Magnus can sleep for a few hours. She is one very lucky woman to have these men take care of her the way they did. I loved watching as all of their relationships grew into something different than any of them expected, especially Trey.

If you were or are a victim of Domestic Abuse this book may be hard to read and I will admit to having to put this book down a few times as Ava recalls what her husband had done to her over the years they were together. Read with caution and know if you need help there is help out there for you.

I would recommend this book to those that enjoy STEAMY Romances, MM Romances, Menage Romances, Friends-to-Lovers Romances, Triad Romances, or Romances that have a heroine reclaiming her life.

Happy Reading!!!

*confessions does not have to be read in order to enjoy this book

This was book 10 in "The Walkers of Coyote Ridge" I have been looking forward to reading more about Trey and Magnus since I first met them in the "Off The Books" series. Trey and Magnus have been hooking up for a year and a half both of them are in love but are to afraid to tell each other. Ava March was beaten and left for dead by her husband who tried to frame Magnus. When Ava is found he nurses her back to health. I loved Ava she went through so much but she found away to smile she started getting her life back. Turns out Ava was married to an abusive controlling man who used her mother's illness against her "abuse is never ok". Trey who was married before and hurt by his ex has been guarding his heart he has never been with a woman so he was confused by his feelings for Ava. Magnus has always known what he wanted. The chemistry between these three was hot there were a lot of sex scenes in this book Ms. Edwards knows how to write a good threesome. I am so glad that she wrote this book and how she wrote it. Each character was struggling with different things going on and as a result it made some pretty strong emotions. Ava was coming to terms with what her husband did and the death of her mother. Magnus with the thought of losing Trey and Trey doing to terms with himself because he didn't know where he stood with Magnus. I also liked that Trey went to Gage for advice. Each one of these characters grew we got to see Ava come out of her shell and into her own. Trey learned to trust and Magnus stopped holding back. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

I love this book sooo much.

This is a beautiful amazing frustrating book about finding out who you are and what you want both sexually/physically mentally and emotionally in life. It is also a little sister’s best friend, friends-lovers polyamorous romance with some triggers like domestic violence, attempted murder and death.

Nicole Edwards has this amazing ability to write characters that you fall in love with and just want to hug and protect but also want to smack over the head and say stop being so macho and stoic and talk to each other.
She makes me feel all the feels and all the distress and heartache that these three characters go through and I actually cried from the beginning because I felt with all of them.

I felt Trey’s heartbreak and frustration with not being enough for Magnus. Trey has always seen himself as gay and has never been with a woman. Can a gay man have feelings for a woman suddenly or is he another term than gay in the LGBTQIA+ community or is it just wishful thinking so he can still be with Magnus?
I felt Magnus’s frustration and heartbreak from wanting to be with Trey and Ava in a polyamorous relationship but having a confused Trey who draws away from him and Ava who he feels he has to protect because she is fragile (in his eyes).
I felt all of Ava’s struggles, her fears, her love for both Magnus and Trey and her fight to be acknowledged as a strong capable woman who is more than her outer wounds and inner scars. I loved how strong Ava was even though she has been through the most horrifying event you can ever experience and survived. She fights for what she wants and when she feels firm in her decisions and feels safe she isn’t afraid to go for what she wants and needs.

Trey, Ava and Magnus are everything when they are together and totally lost, confused and frustrated when they are apart but can they figure out a way to be in a relationship or is everything doomed from the beginning?

I can definitely recommend this book but I would recommend reading “Brantley Walker: The off the books” series first so you get Trey and Magnus’s story from the beginning and what happened to Ava in “Confessions”. But you can read this as a stand-alone if you prefer it.

I got this book from Nicole Edwards and this is my honest opinion and my voluntary review.

Book 10 in The Walkers of Coyote Ride series and it was finally Trey’s story. This could be read as a standalone but the whole series is a must read. Loved this well written MMF romance. Trey, Magnus, and Ava will pull at your heart strings and take you on an emotional roller coaster ride that you will want to ride time and time again. Great, steamy friends to lovers/MM/MMF romances that will heat your Kindle up. Highly recommend this and the entire series.

Another fantastic story from this author. Trey and Magnus' story started in the Off The Books series. I was really hoping they would ultimately get together so I couldn't wait to get to this book. And to add Ava into the mix was wonderful. I loved how she really ended up bringing these characters all together. Highly recommend this book but I believe it means so much more if you read their entire story in the other series before reading this one.

A well written MMF romance story that pulls you in and doesn't let you go until the very end. Trey, book ten in The Walkers of Coyote Ridge is filled with so many emotions, an unexpected turn, intense attraction, sexual tension, passion, plenty of steam, and love.

I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

The majority of this author’s works take place in the same universe, so there is a bit of crossover between series. The relationship between Trey and Magnus started in the Off the Books series, where we’ve been getting snippets of these two and their amazing chemistry. Things in this story pick up where Confessions left off for these two. And while it is true this could be read as a standalone, I don’t believe you will get the full impact of their relationship thus far if you skip those Off the Books stories where they first appear. At the very least, the book I just mentioned.

I want to be clear that I don’t think the author skimped on relationship building in this story, but when you’re working with a throuple there is much more interplay that has to be dealt with. As loyal readers of Nicole Edwards will already know and have felt the chemistry between Magnus and Trey, we now need to feel a connection to Ava to trust the addition of her in their lives is a good thing. Especially when Trey has adamantly stated he is gay and not bisexual.

Ah, sexuality. The general public has learned so much about sexuality in the last 5-10 years. For me, one of the biggest things is knowing that there is no perfect box for most people to fit into. And while Trey has always viewed himself as attracted only to men, but finds himself confused when he starts not only having tender feelings toward Ava but also being sexually aroused around her. I’m not going to classify Trey’s sexuality since the author didn’t do so, but this storyline is one I find much more feasible now than I did in the past. I’ve always found myself accepting of the storyline, I loved Travis’ story from this author, but I didn’t understand it quite as well as I do now. I think it’s a beautiful and important story and the author handles the emotional aspects quite well.

There are also some very important scenes between Ava and her therapist. I’ll warn you, this book could be very hard for many to read. Ava relates her near murder by her husband’s hands but also goes over other things that happened throughout her marriage. Rape within a marriage is not discussed enough and I appreciate the author calling it what it is and not talking around the subject. There has been a lot of trauma in Ava’s life and her journey is heartbreaking but cathartic.

While Trey, Ava, and Magnus have gotten their HEA, I’m looking forward to seeing little peeks of them throughout other books. They all deserve all of the happiness in the world, and I think they’re heading strongly in that direction.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Trey Walker has one major flaw as far as he's concerned: he impulsively falls in love to easily and too often. That reckless impulse resulted in several ailed relationships, not to mention the implosion of his marriage. And what's the best way to ensure you don't make that mistake again? That's easy. You shrug off relationships for good. And it was working for him. Right up until it wasn't. Trey was on a winning streak until fate threw him a curve-ball eighteen months ago when he crossed paths with Mangus Storme, the smoking hot, ridiculously persistent twenty-four-year-old owner of Camp K-9. Using the 12 year age gap as an excuse. Trey managed to resist Mangus...for about a minute. Did he mention Mangus was persistent? His first mistake was taking Mangus home, thinking one night with him would get the man out of his system. One night turned into two then a week, a month, two..
After a year, Trey still adamantly denied falling for Magnus, which meant he wasn't only lying to Magnus, hes was lying to himself. Just when Trey's life seems to be cruising along the right track, another unexpected turn arrives, this time in the form of a woman from Magnus's past. Trey has to make a decision: live in denial and walk away from the man he loves or accept that his feelings are in direct contradiction to everything Trey thought he knew about himself.

I have to go ahead and warn you that this is a MMF romance and there are some events that are retold in this book from Ava's point of view that might be triggering for some readers.
You also will need to read Confessions that is in the Brantley Walker: Off the Books Series This book picks up the relationship between Trey, Magnus and Ava from where it left off in that book.
Well I guess I should have said the relationship between Trey and Magnus in that other book and they had some amazing chemistry in that book so I knew this one would be amazing from that alone. I wasn't wrong. If you have never read a MMF romance then you are really missing out. In my opinion there is no one who does them better and her building and tension and just every little aspect of these three coming together is in such great vivid detail its like watching a movie in your head. I don't really want to start telling you about the story. I devoured it and I loved every single second of it. The characters are so great and they have such passion and chemistry going on that I found myself wanting more and more of this book and then I was finished. I was so engrossed in this book the world just kept slipping away from me. You do not want to miss this book. It was beyond amazing.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Trey is Book 10 of The Walkers of Coyote Ridge, but we meet them in the Brantley Walker: Off the Books series. This book can be read as a standalone, but to get the whole backstory for them and enjoy it more, it will be better if you first read some of the books in that series. It's been a while since the series started, but I think Magnus comes into the series in the 2 or 3 book, Trey comes into the series in book 4 or book 5 and Ava in the 8 book.

By now, there is no secret that I am a HUGE FAN of her books, especially the MMF books Nicole writes, and I probably read 80% of her books. She is truly the best when writing a threesome book getting the connection between the 3 characters just right and feeling their chemistry. FUCKING AMAZING!!

And I couldn't wait to read Trey's book and have patiently waited for it.

Did it exceed the expectation? Yes and No

Was i a bit disappointed? Yes

And let me explain why.

Trey has been GAY all his life. He has never been attracted to a woman before, never kissed one before, never licked one before, never FUCKED a woman before.

I HAD ISSUES of how easily it came to him to know how to perform oral to one and FUCK a WOMAN, him being GAY all his life. It came way too naturally from my perspective. I wanted more, at least a bit of insecurity, when it came to the pleasure of a woman's body. Apart from a few thoughts when he kissed Ava, nothing else was mentioned. NADA DE NADA.

Another issue I had was that Trey and Magnus are a switch, but there is not a single page/scene in this book when Magnus tops Trey.

Was this book HOT and full of SMUT? FUCK YEAH!!!! This book was full of smut, spicy, hot and whatever you want to call it!!! Even a nun will have issues reading this and not feeling anything!!!

Will I add this paperback to my collection on my bookshelf?

HELL YES

Overall this is a good book and nearly everything you would expect from an MMF book.

I presume it all comes down to personal preference.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

I have been waiting for Trey to get his own book since his character was first introduced to us in the Brantley Walker-Off the Books series. Trey picks up where Confessions (Brantley Walker) left off. Even though this is a stand-alone book it is helpful if you read Confessions first to get the background and relationships of Trey, Magnus and Ava, plus it is another great book by Nicole Edwards.

Trey Walker has some insecurities when it comes to relationships and love, he has been married before and that marriage did not end well, and he has decided he will not allow himself to fall in love again, except he cannot stay away from Magnus no matter how much he tries to talk himself out of there being anything serious with them. Also, Ava has sparked something in Trey that is completely foreign to him, he has only been in relationships with males so the feelings he starts to develop for Ava are confusing to him. Magnus has always seen himself in a long-term relationship with both a male and female, and he cannot deny his feelings for Trey or Ava. Ava has had a crush on Magnus since she was his next-door neighbor and thinks Trey is smoking hot. Trey is a story full of emotion between the three characters, as always Nicole shows you all the different layers of each character to where you become fully invested in the story and care about each one of them. The book does deal with some difficult issues with Ava’s past relationship that may be a little hard to read for some, however the tragedy that Ava has gone through helps her become the woman that can love, herself and both Magnus and Trey. This book at its core is a true love story.

This book gives you everything you come to expect from Nicole Edwards, beautiful written characters, an amazing storyline and smoking HOT sex scenes…Trey is a must read!!!

Nicole Edwards newest book, Trey, is about healing, finding your true self, getting the life you imagined, and unconventional love. This is a crossover from Brantley Walker: Off the books and the Walkers of Coyote Ridge, featuring characters from both series.

Trey Walker had been a lone wolf since his divorce until Magnus Storme reignited his heart. Trey tried to resist his feelings for Magnus but couldn’t deny his lust and love forming for the man. What’s holding Trey back from going all in is the fact that Magnus is bisexual and half his heart is already taken by Ava, his friend since childhood. Trey is gay and doesn’t want to share Magnus with anyone.

Magnus dreams of having it all - a successful dog training and boarding business and a husband and wife to share his life with. His budding relationship with Trey is now hanging on by a thread since Magnus took in Ava after nearly dying at the hands of her abusive husband.

Ava is determined to put herself back together again physically, mentally and emotionally after being left for dead by her abusive husband. Ava’s lust is awakened stealing glimpses of Trey and Magnus together and imagining herself with her strong and sexy protectors. Magnus has owned her heart since childhood. Can she get Trey to see what life could be like if he opened himself up to more?

This book runs a wide and deep path for each of the characters. It covers recovery from abuse, unconventional relationships, and finding love where you least expect it. Like all of Nicole Edwards books, the reader is taken on an emotional journey. The character development is perfection and as you’re engaged in the story, you fall in love with the characters as they fall in love with each other.

The book is M/M/F ménage and has a trigger warning to recovery from physical abuse.

How could you not have been anxiously waiting for Trey’s book? Ever since I was introduced to him in the other fantastic series by Nicole Edwards, Off The Books, I knew he was going to be someone to watch. Trey Walker falls, too hard, too fast, which caused his last relationship to fail. He is definitely a man’s man, literally. But being introduced to Magnus was all Trey needed. He knew Magnus was bisexual, but that was OK because it was only going to be physical. Nothing more. He knew he was falling in love, and Magnus knew he was in love with Trey. What was unexpected was Ava. After almost dying at the hands of her husband, and being rescued by Trey and Magnus, she has come into their lives and stirred up all kinds of emotions. It is a book filled with emotions, healing, and, facing some thing Trey never thought he would be interested in, a woman. But not just any woman, Ava, she is absolutely perfect for them, she is an amazing woman that’s been through hell and deserves every happiness. Now she needs Magnus and Trey to decide if the three of them can be happy together. In the back of my mind, I always thought Trey and Magnus would come together, and throwing Ava in there was genius. This book was excellent, the writing made the characters come to life and my emotions everywhere. Some of it was hard to read, when Ava relives what her husband did to her was so emotional, but necessary in the book to understand what she has been through. Nicole Edwards did an amazing job. And to see Ava turn around and come into her own was so fantastic. I loved it when she knew what she wanted from Magnus and Trey and she let it be known. The steamy scenes are awesome, and truly heartwarming for the three of them to enjoy love and life after so long.

I first met Trey and Magnus in the Off The Books series. I can tell you those scenes between the 2 of them were really steamy. I was really excited when Nicole said we were getting Trey’s book. What I was not expecting was the actual storyline.

On one hand you’ve got Magnus who has always said he was bisexual and saw himself with both a man and a woman in his future. But the woman he wants was already married so he adapted his future to be with just one man. And that man is Trey, who he loves.

And that leads to the other hand, meaning Trey, who is gay and never has been with a woman. So Magnus being bisexual scares the cr@p out of Trey. He’s already been married and divorced once, his ex saying he was lacking and too clingy. So even though he’s falling in love with Magnus, he feels like he won’t be enough for him.

Then on an unexpected hand, along comes Ava, who’s always loved Magnus and vice versa. And now she’s available and that puts what’s been brewing between Trey and Magnus in a tailspin.

But like always in Nicole’s books, she knew just the way to write this book. She brought these 3 people together and Ava became the glue to hold them together.

During Ava’s healing something changed, Trey fell in love with a woman!! Working through all of their insecurities, they eventually get an HEA.

You definitely need to add this book to your collection. Don’t miss out on reading this most passionate romance of these 3 people. I’m not telling you how they worked it all out. You need to read it for yourself.

Ok Nicole, I’m ready for Brantley and Reese’s wedding please, as you were hinting at the end of this book. 😉

What a great book, a book well worth the wait. Thank You Nicole for giving us Magnus, Trey and Ava's story. It is a beautifully written story with special emphasis taken to show the impact of love when characters all need to heal.
Trey and Magnus was first introduced to us in the Off the Books task force series and they chemistry between them is ooff the chain. Trey has been so unlucky in love that he's found it very difficult to let himself find happiness with Magnus. Magnus is strong minded and knows exactly what and who he wants and that's Trey. The cat and mouse game that these two have been playing which each other takes a drastic turn when Magnus's childhood friend, Ava, went missing only to be found severely beaten and left for dead by her husband. Magnus's focus has know been transferred to helping Ava heal from both her physical scars as well as her emotional scars. Trey is no longer with the Off the Books task force and instead finds himself working at Magnus's ranch hoping to allow Magnus to just focus on helping Ava. It is during this time that we see Magnus start to involve Trey with helping him care for Ava, where these characters start to face their insecurities, where they start to rely on each other and where they face their emotions head on no matter how difficult these emotions may seem. This is a beautiful love story and the more you read the more invested you become in these characters finding their happily ever after.
As this is story does feature domestic abuse, some of the events that are recounted can be tough to read.
Nicole as always a great love story, and more beautifully written characters that your readers can't help but love

5 stars, a must read! MMF romance. Spicy, steamy and soft all at the same time!

Trey Walker is one of those characters that sneaks up on you. He's been somewhat in the background in prior books, but is fiercely loyal, loving and will do anything for the ones he cares about. I would definitely recommend reading Nicole Edward's Off the Books Series before reading this book if you want to get a full background, although you certainly don't have to. Nicole does a great job reintroducing both Trey and Magnus and their history at the beginning of this book.

This book will have you wanting more...and I hope Nicole decides to write more about this trio because their love is truly special. Trey knows he has falls in love fast and when Magnus comes into his life, he is in deep, although he hasn't really told him that. Just as Trey is getting used to the idea of he and Magnus having their happily ever after, a curve ball is thrown their way... and her name is Ava. Ava has always been apart of Magnus' life since he was a teenager and if he's honest with himself, he's always loved her. When Trey and Magnus find her beaten nearly to death by her ex-husband, life changes in an instant. All Trey knows about himself and love feels like it's slipping away. Magnus can't imagine his life without Ava and Trey and as Ava works on healing her mind, body and soul, she realizes that true love has been with her the whole time, times two!

This book has it all and you won't want to put it down! Happy reading!

This was another one of Nicole's books, like most of them, that you can not put down once you start. You get drawn into the characters immediately. I was so happy Trey Walker has received his own book.
Trey has been married and has had many other failed relationships. Trey is gay and his ex-husband left him because he was too clingy. So one night stands are just fine by him, this way he does not get hurt again. Magnus, the young dog trainer will do just fine to scratch his itch. Only problem is is one night stand has turned into days, months and now over a year. He did it again, he fell hard again for a man and if he tells Magnus he will just dump him like the rest of them. And an even bigger problem has come into the relationship. Magnus is bi and has always wanted to have a relationship with a man and a woman. Ava, his childhood friend was nearly beaten to death and left for dead. After they rescued her she needed weeks in the hospital to recover. Now that she is out, she has no one, so Magnus is very happy to take care of her. Trey sees the love in his eyes for Ava, but Trey has never been with a woman and is not going to compete for Magnus. Trey has been helping out at Magnus's business Camp K-9 while he takes care of her. He also takes many shifts himself keeping her company and has really enjoyed it. He has no ide when it happened, but he is seeing Ava in a whole new light.
AMAZING story of love and hope. Lets not forget about the off the charts MMF MF MM scenes that will blow your mind!

Trey

So I've patiently waited for Treys story and I wasn't disappointed.
You first meet Trey, Magnus and Ava in The Off The Books series where Trey and Magnus become close friends. Ava was Magnus neighbour when they were kids. As Trey and Magnus's relationship blossomed, Ava went missing and Trey asked his brother to help find her. Ava had been married to Harrison for some years and he was a monster, he totally controlled her, beat her and blackmailed her by telling Ava he would have her mother permanently put into a hospital. She was totally trapped. So when Magnus and Trey found her hidden and in a seriously bad way they had to take care of her. Magnus did everything for her and Trey saw the love between them, he is guy unlike Magnus who is bisexual so there were no feelings between himself and Ava other than friendship.
Not knowing how to deal with what he saw, he decided to back away, to leave the two of them to see what developed. He left K9 without warning much to Magnus's shock and walked away from Magnus which hurt his heart but he believed he was doing the right thing for the 3 of them but was he?

I don't give spoilers so you really have to read this amazing book to find out if the 3 of them survive the ups and downs of a MMF relationship.
This book contains sensitive material but it is written in such a way that it adds to the story rather than makes you feel to uncomfortable. Ava's story is all to familiar and I admire Nicole for tackling this subject.
I definitely give this book 5 stars.

After finishing the latest book from the OTB series, I was so excited to jump immediately to this book. I just can't get enough of Trey and Magnus. There's something that tickles inside me whenever I read their scenes. I've always been rooting for them and wishing that they finally get their HEA.

But now that Ava has joined their lives, their relationship has been rocky between these two. Trey's insecurities always try to dig out which forces him to create a distance between himself and Magnus. This guy really has a big heart and I completely understand why he's cautious. He has been burned before and it really breaks my heart as he struggles not to break the relationship that he and Magnus have established.

Magnus, on the other hand, my god! He really knows what he wants and will not stop until he gets it. What's not to love with this man, seriously? With his strength and tenacity, he never gave up.

And Ava. The strength of this woman is truly inspiring. I have admired her determination to move past the horrible ordeal she had at the hands of her former husband. I'm glad that she finally opened herself to love again not just with Magnus but also with Trey. She really is the glue that binds this throuple.

Overall, this book was worth it. Although, I found that Trey's suddenly in love with a woman (despite him never being attracted to one before) was a bit rushed. Maybe because I was expecting a bit more chapters containing his struggles or confusion about his sexuality. Or maybe because I just want more of Trey.

Hope you'll enjoy this book as much as I did!

I have been waiting for the release of Trey’s book since the Off the books task force books came out. I loved how Trey seemed to fall hard and fast, but definitely has emotional scars from his past. The book can be read as a standalone, but much better if read as part of the series. My only main issue with this book is that the reader is presented with the assumption that Magnus and Trey are madly in love with one another. After it was revealed in Confessions that Trey had no idea about all the trauma in Magnus’s past, and into Trey, the two hardly talked about anything substantive at the beginning, it was hard to wrap my mind around the fact that them having sex for a year and a half equated being in love. I really wish that there was more of a focus on Trey’s past, and how that changed his ideas about what a loving relationship should be.

As a threesome, I loved seeing how the relationship between each character develop. I wasn’t sure that I would find the story believable with Trey being an admittedly gay man falling in love with a woman, but the author did a beautiful job with their love story. I fell in love with Ava and her feisty spirit, and how she pushes forward to recover from her past trauma. She is so resilient, and it was so wonderful for her to get her HEA after all she has been through.

As the series progresses, I will be anxiously awaiting updates on them and how their relationship continues to change and flourish.

OMG I have been waiting for Magnus and Trey's story. Ava was a bonus I should have expected. After healing from her attempted murder, Ava was going to move forward with her life with Magnus supporting her. As she and Magnus got closer, Trey was acknowledging that it was finally over with him and Magnus. He could see the love they shared and now that Ava's husband was gone, there was nothing standing in the way of them being together and he couldn't watch the end of his relationship with Magnus implode.

Ava was healing well and was ready to move forward with her life. She always had a crush on Magnus and he was the only one she trusted to take care of her. She continued to watch Magnus and Trey together when they thought she wasn't awake and it was HOT. When Magnus admits he has been in love with her, Ava is stunned. She is also attracted to Trey and is falling for him too but is afraid that her feelings are not returned. She and Magnus is getting closer but something (or someone) is missing... Trey. Is he willing to share Magnus with her? Can Magnus convince Trey to try to stay with him and Ava?

This was a great ending to their story. I don't want to spoil it but it was everything I expected from Ms. Edwards. Great job again! And I can't wait to continue reading this series.

I received an advance copy for my honest opinion.

I love the Off the Books series and that is where we first met Trey, Magnus & Ava. We got a small glance at Ava in an earlier book in the series then the task force took a case revolving around Ava & Magnus and we got more background on both. Trey’s book is after that case was solved and all three of them deal with what happened. Magnus has always known who he is and what he wanted out of life to be happy & fulfilled. He finally has that in his sights now but is unsure if it will work out. Trey has been denying the depth of his feelings for Magnus for quite a while and now he is starting to feel things for Ava he has never experienced before, and he doesn’t trust himself, so he thinks it is best to walk away. Ava is finally starting to heal after all she went through at her husband’s hands. She has always had feelings for Magnus but the more time she spends with Trey the more her feelings for him grow. She decides to be bold and make a move that could either start a whole new chapter for all of them together or destroy all the existing relationships. The question is will Magnus and Trey be brave enough and honest enough with each other to try. This was an amazing story about healing, opening yourself up again and love. I cannot wait to see more of them in the future and see how they are doing.

Trey Walker’s story picks up where Confessions ended and brings together both the Brantley Walker: Off the Books series alongside The Walkers of Coyote Ridge.

Nicole Edwards is the queen of MMF romance for me! She has a way of bringing these strong, masculine men to their knees as they finally give into their true feelings and take the leap into a relationship that brings them true happiness and Trey’s story is no exception. I loved the push and pull, the change in dynamics and the twist with Trey.
Trey has known he was gay for most of his life and until the one man, Magnus, who owns his heart admits that he loves not only Trey but Ava as well, does Trey consider the possibility that the friendship he has had with Ava through her recovery could be so much more.
Magnus and Ava have known each other most of their lives and Magnus will do anything for her including helping her with her recovery after her ex-husband left her for dead. He also knows that he has been in love with her for years. He is also in love with Trey and has known that his life will be complete when he is in a relationship with both a man and a woman, but more specifically Trey and Ava. He just has to show Trey that it is worth the risk.

Honest Arc Review
Do take note of Nicole’s notes to readers. Expressed to new & N.N. Readers.

‘Faith’ - who needed it most?
Ava -: recuperating after her horrendous ordeal?
Magnus -: his love for 2 people?
Trey -: in understanding his inner self, in wanting what he can’t have?

Each seeking faith in themselves. An awkward acceptance due to - Age gap, Bisexuality, Physical & Mental Abuse, Trust, Expectations. Commitment - an emotion some struggle to understand. Trey is the 3rd wheel but is willing to try. Threesome is not what he expected but can he accept this within himself?

Overall -> Fear is what needs to be conquered. Fear of survival. Fear of loneliness. Fear of acceptance.
Emotions ran wild what with Ava’s recovery. Magnus seeking more and Trey being afraid.
The Walkers are a family who become endeared to you. Trey didn’t disappoint, his character spoke for himself. Though Magnus and Ava are the people he loves and fears, it was Trey who shone.

Nicole takes you through a journey where her characters are heartfelt. You will become emotionally attached to them. Treys POV - an emotional read into the understanding of a gay person who learns to accept that his love goes further than one person.

Having met Trey and Magnus in the Off the Books series, I was looking forward to this book. It did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded my expectations. This is labeled as a standalone, but I feel you should read Confessions to get a better picture of what happened prior to this story. I was expecting a HEA for Trey and Magnus and, since this is a HEA author, I wasn’t disappointed. What I didn’t expect was Ava. She really came into herself in this book and added an expected twist to this story. Gotta love it when a story surprises you.

One of the things I love about this universe is that the attitude toward relationships is the way it should be rather than reality. I live in the same section of Texas where these stories take place so I’m well aware that same sex couples or multiple partners would never receive the level of acceptance that is portrayed in this universe. In this world, acceptance is the majority rather than the minority and being able to escape into this world is wonderful. It doesn’t matter who or how many, other than consenting adults and it’s portrayed in a way that opens the reader’s mind and seems pretty normal. Why shouldn’t a MMF relationship be ok? Love really is Love.

Trey is the tenth book in the Walkers of Coyote Ridge by Nicole Edwards. We met Trey, Magnus and Ava in the Brantley Walker Off the Books series and I have loved every minute we got to see them. It's been a year and a half since Trey met Magnus. He's older and vowed to never fall in love again. But he's just not built that way. He falls hard and fast. He was keeping Magnus at arm's length but always wanting more. And then Ava, someone from Magnus's past, needs saving and Trey and Magnus are there to help her. Trey watches Magnus and Ava fall for each other more every day. Knowing that Magnus always told Trey he's bisexual, and won't feel complete without a man and a woman, but not just any man or woman. Trey and Ava. So what's the problem? Trey is gay. Has always been gay. Never even kissed a woman. But Ava is just that special. Trey and she build a friendship and then he realizes it's more. So much more. But can he share Magnus with a woman? Could they all be happy together? Oh my holy hell! This book has everything! Love, lust, sadness, pain, healing, laughter and hope. I love Trey, Magnus and Ava so much. This was such a great addition to both series' and I know we'll see more of these characters again. Soon, I hope!

I have loved the character of Trey ever since he appeared in the Brantley Walker: Off the Books series. This was an absolutely beautiful story, full of discovery, reflection, healing and love. It also deals with difficult issues and my heart hurt for the tragic events that these characters went through. There is an intense attraction between Trey and Magnus. Magnus has an enormous capacity for love even though he had a tragic past. Trey and Magnus were starting to build a relationship until Ava’s traumatic event. Magnus has always loved Ava and he wants to take of her. There is so much chemistry, wanting, sexual tension and need between these three. Ava is a wonderful character. She is beautiful, sensitive, resilient and chooses to heal and get on with her life. She falls in love with both Trey and Magnus and considers them her saviors. And while Magnus has always known that he wanted, Trey has to decide to either give into his securities or rethink his lifestyle. I enjoyed that the story connected with the "Off The Books" task force members. This was an amazingly beautiful story and a definitely a must read! I was given an ARC for an honest review.

Trey is the 10th book in the Walkers of Coyote Ridge series and should not be missed.

Although I've met Trey in other novels set in Coyote Ridge it is possible to read, understand and enjoy this great addition to the Walker family of books as a standalone.

This one is quite different in the respect that our couple have an established relationship that with recent events, has seen a change in the dynamic and the amount of players.

It is refreshing to read something a little different. As a romance reader you sometimes feel that there can't possibly be any other way to create an original story BUT Nicole Edwards has managed to dispel that notion and then some!

You will experience a range of emotions with Trey as he comes to terms with the many changes in his life and not are they doozies! Add Magnus and Ava to the mix which produces a few extra spicy bedroom scenes that will certainly get your motor running.

All in all Trey is a must read whether you are familiar with the Walker family or not. But don't be fooled, if you haven't, you will definitely want to explore the Walker family...in depth!

I will always be a fan of Nicole's stories. I have been waiting for Trey and Magnus's story since this series started.
What started out as casual between them is turning into something more.
Trey made the difficult decision to quit the task force and he found his calling helping out at Magnus's kennel. He thought that would bring them closer but tragedy struck.
Magnus is totally focused on helping Ava, that Trey feels he isn't important anymore.
Magnus and Trey can't get on the same page so the miscommunication only gets worse.

Magnus finds himself falling harder for Ava while still being in love with Trey. The only thing that was hard to believe is that Trey is gay and Magus is bisexual and how easy Trey opened himself up to falling for Ava as well. As you read more into the story, you find out that Trey's feelings for both change and he finds himself questioning everything. In the end, this story will make you smile because between all the angst true love wins.

Nicole writes stories that will pull you in and keep you turning the pages. Another winner and keep them coming Nicole.

I've really enjoyed the Walker brother series and while I haven't read all the spin-off books yet, I could follow the story. Even though you can read it as a standalone, it's also best to read some of Brantley's series. I enjoyed the chemistry between the lead characters (Magnus, Ava & Trey) but also the suspense that surrounded this particular story. It was a true rollercoaster ride of emotions. Another great story and can't wait to see what is next in store.

Trey has been in love with Magnus for a long while now but there's something that seems to be coming in between them and he doesn't really know what to do with himself. As Magnus is trying to sort out his feelings and feels the need to make sure that Ava is safe, it's hard to distance himself from Trey as their bond is still strong. While Ava's recovering from all of her scars, being cared for by Magnus brings back a lot of memories. Will they find a way to make it all work?... And will they find they way to each other in the end?...
