Linsin's Inspire principles are so simple and straightforward, but I've found them to be very effective. If a first-year teacher asked me for a book recommendation, this would be the one. But in my opinion, it's a must-read for both new and experienced teachers! This is my second time reading it, and I think I'll read it every summer for as long as I'm a teacher.

Solid Principles for Teachers

Like his other books, Inspire is cover to cover excellence. Michael outlines the perfect classroom principles for success. The easy part is reading this book. It flows and is a quick read. The hard part is having the self-discipline to implement everything he says and stick with it.
