Joy moved across the country to take a job as the secretary to the mayor of Troping. The only problem is, the more time she spends with Mayor North, the more time she doesn’t want to spend away from him. Things between them could never work and she needs to concentrate on saving money. But one night when the power goes out, a plan is hatched and she agrees to so much more.
When North proposes a marriage of convenience, Joy thinks he’s lost his mind. Maybe he has, but how else is he supposed to convince the woman he loves to marry him? She thinks he wants the single women in town to stop chasing after him, but in reality he only wants one woman’s attention.

Another funny quick reading. Though, this one have more sexual language and situations. We don't get to see many of the Troping inhabitants. The dialogues are funny, and, of course, Tinsel, being North sister, appears, and we have some laughs on count of her.
North, Troping's mayor, is in love with his secretary, Joy. Joy came from a small town in Alabama six months ago. North fell in love with her since he saw her at the interview they had on skype.
Joy fell for North too. So she came to Troping. Now the lights go out, and they are trapped together at the City Hall. North, out of the blue, ask Joy to marry him. This was too insta for me, too forced. 3,3 stars for the funny dialogues.
"The Cozy Agreement" is the story of Joy and North.
A sweet holiday boss/ secretary romance with a smitten hero and a shy heroine. He's the mayor, she's the woman he loves and proposes a marriage of convenience, which turns into much more!
I loved this one soooo much!!! A stern stoic uptight hero who falls HARD for the shy and sweet woman who comes to work for him. It had so much yearning and feels, and some humor sprinkled in. The hero’s sister was a spitfire and has her own book.
Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned mentioned but he’s definitely been celibate since meeting heroine. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. Some minor unwanted ow drama, no OM drama, no cheating or sharing. HEA with epilogue
'Eres lo más hermoso que he visto en mi vida. Solo necesitaba un segundo para respirar.'

🎄The Cozy Agreement de Alexa Riley✨
Argumento:
Ya homeboy North was a scammer from the beginning but I loved him for it!!
Exhibit A
What if being together is awkward and awful? How would we convince anyone this is real and solve your problem of being hit on?”
“Well,” I say as I move a little closer, “we could always make love and see if we’re compatible.”
Exhibit B
“I mean, sometimes people don’t get completely naked when they have sex.” Right? I’ve read it in books and seen it in movies.
“I want you completely naked, Joy.”
“I only get naked in the shower,” I blurt out. If I don’t stop talking, I’m going to throw myself into this fire.
North being the oblivious human he is thinks that Joy needs to work towards loving her because he’s loved her everyday since he Skyped her for a job interview.
It’s funny because after 6 months of pining he finally makes his move and I wish I could have gave him the one two buckle your shoe!!
North was a menace and a good guy all wrapped in one and I loved every moment of it.
Cute and to the point as North and Joy came together after months of skirting around one another. Insta-love over a Skype interview, hot steamy scenes, and a happily ever after made this short story the perfect before bed time read.
I don't know. Main hero was kind of cute BUT kind of crazy...
He fell in love almost after 0,9% of knowing her ( Like when she told him her name ) and booooo.
He knew that she was his soulmate.
He gave her job as his secretary - so she could be always with him 🤔
But then NOTHING. He was afraid to tell her about his feelings...
But maybe if he will be sure she likes him back?...he would DO something.
She liked him as her boss and she liked him as a handsome speciman he was 👋😎🥵
But she was afraid to tell him about her feelings, because she didn't feel that she would have a chance with him. He was rather cold, when she was warm.
What I was curious about was theirs age Gap. It looked like her first job (20/21/22 years old?)
He was mayor! I don't suposse that he was 20 or something, rather someone after 30th.
Which is ok, but it looked....I don't know....like he was obssesed with some young girl...I don't know...like he was not adult enough to tell her about his feelings?
Whatever.
Let's move on.
After he told her that it would be great for them to marry - he was so sexy, that every single woman wanted him - they would leave him alone.
And she was like "you pooooor think 🥺"
And "What about chemistry?"
And "I will show you chemistry!"
We have some booom chicka chicka 😎🤫❤️🔥 And again and again...without condoms....
Because "what if she would leave me? I need to b BREED her!"
Anyway, she would find out about tricking her to marry him, about his intentions to BREED her...And she is shocked. Like for five minutes...
Because...ya know...they did it for like a 10000 times...what did you expect?
And she knew that this marriage was for convenience reason....
In the end, everything is perfect.
They are soooooo in love - like him when she worked for him.
Crazy in love! ♥️

I loved this story. The emotions were described to perfection. Their mutual lust wasn’t mutually known, yet their chemistry was off the charts. The older couple they met at the end of the story was awesome!!
Joy and North have unknowingly been crushing on one another for about as long as she’s been working for him. When North finds an opportunity to have Joy become his “wife of convenience”, he seizes the opportunity. Poor Joy has no idea just what’s hit her, but she likes it.
Pretty tame and sweet in comparison to the normal book by this author. North, the mayor, lures Joy to town because he instantly falls for her when he sees her and wants to marry her. He proposes a marriage of convenience but she quickly realizes he wants it to be more real than she thought.
