Read this as an adult for the nostalgia as it was a Christmas gift from my 3rd grade teacher. It was a wholesome quick read that actually made me laugh a few times! Loved the ending

This is a great book with themes of cooperation, perseverance and Lloyds of animal love. We learn not to judge people we don't really know.

Really sweet little novel for young readers. I really loved the themes and that it was about children working hard to take care of innocent animals.
