Eve is a USA Today Bestselling Author with a specialty for steamy romance with strong female leads.

It's been eight years since Morgan mated with and joined the Habbs pack, and over that time, she's suffered more than she should have. They cut her off from her family and friends and kept her sheltered in their gated mansion -- she never wanted for anything but she's never done anything for herself either. And she's grown to accept the harsh comments, rude behavior, and objectification that comes with being mated to the men. When her alphas are arrested at the dinner for her thirty-first birthday, she struggles with accepting that the men she loved for all those years were evil. She never realized how bad the things they did to her were or that they were doing the same or worse things to other omegas like her.
The St. Clair pack have struggled to find an omega that they want to mate with and the prime alpha, Eli, has made it even harder. He expects perfection, and has never been able to find it until now. One sniff of Morgan's scent has all the St. Clair men scrambling after her, but she's off-limits. She's exactly what they were looking for, but being the mate of the criminals they have spent years chasing means they may never get a chance with her.
But as Morgan slowly comes to terms with the abuse she suffered under the care of the Habbs pack and her mating bonds with them break, she may just find the love and happiness she's been looking for in the arms of the St. Clair pack.
***************
Written in first-person POV, "Tying the Knot: Get Knotted!" follows Morgan and the alphas and beta of the St. Clair pack as they fall in love and build a future together. This is a reverse harem book featuring four men and one woman, so be warned.
This book was kinda ridiculous. I've read some omegaverse books before, so I didn't necessarily need an introduction into anything but it would have been nice to see some world-building in terms of how everything works. We are just suddenly thrust into a world where a woman is basically the property of a group of men and there are certain biological urges that people feel towards others. I just feel like there wasn't enough context for new omegaverse readers to have any clue what is going on. Plus the relationship dynamics felt underdeveloped for each and every singular romance or friendship Morgan has with any of the men, in the Habbs or St. Clair pack.
The Habbs pack sucked, just in general for how they treated Morgan but then finding out all of the bad things they did made me like them even less. That was the way it was meant to be, and they weren't explored too much within the book other than a mention every so often once they were arrested. Supposedly, some of them weren't as bad as others but they all read the same and Morgan felt the same way about all of them so it didn't really matter.
The St. Clair pack were a bit better, but they were underdeveloped or just too similar in backstory for me to be comfortable with them or really find them likeable. Some of the members of the new pack read exactly the same and I would need to go back to check and see which head we were in. They all felt and said the exact same things about Morgan and it was tiring. It was always how beautiful she was, how strong she was, how they couldn't be together since she was mated to the criminals, how much her scent attracted them, blah blah blah. The spicy scenes, whether that was one-on-one or two-on-one or four-on-one, were all the same. They focused on her, she focused on them, bing-bang-boom the deed is done. All very identical and not thrilling for being omegaverse and steamy.
Morgan, in terms of development, was okay. She didn't grow much, but she did grow a bit of a backbone by the end which was nice (and definitely needed). She struggled a lot and we got a lot more of a backstory for her, but her relationship with people other than with her new pack wasn't explored or fixed in anyway. We learn that her old pack alienated her from her parents and her friends and she regrets it, but she didn't make any attempt to get back into touch with anyone after she was free or with the St. Clair pack. And she wants to get a job and start earning for herself so she isn't at the mercy of her new mates or stuck inside all day, but she doesn't and then proceeds to get married and pregnant. I get it, she wanted to have a baby and a family that she could love, but she didn't grow up herself and basically fell into the same rhythm she had with the Habbs pack but with the St. Clair pack this time (admittedly better men and mates though). It just felt...dumb.
There was a hint of a conflict with the Habbs pack and their associates seemingly targeting Morgan, but it was introduced and then dismissed almost immediately. The prime alpha of her old pack was meant to be this really dangerous guy and he didn't want to share Morgan and blah blah, but there was nothing. No attacks against her or her new mates except one incident at the beginning of the book, but then nothing. It was all pointless and Eli, her new prime alpha, wanted to rub it into the face of her old prime alpha. That was pointless and counterintuitive if he wanted to be considered better than her old pack.
I rated this 3 stars, though it alternates between 2.5 and 3.25 the longer I think about and digest it, and that's mostly because Morgan gets her happily ever after and the baby she's always wanted with her new family. And the men of the St. Clair pack usually seemed like good dudes. This book was just blah and pointless most times, and I didn't really feel like there was much of a point to reading it since there's no conflict to keep their romance or the criminal case in the forefront of my mind. Their steamy scenes weren't even worthwhile to read because they were all almost identical, so this book didn't even really have that going for it. This was just a blah read and it makes me angry that I wasted time on it.
This was also the first book I read by this author and while the writing was fine, I felt like pacing was slow and too descriptive in the beginning for things that don't matter. Morgan basically described her bedroom for the entire first chapter of the book, she didn't even really interact with other people until further in the book.
I liked this one, there is something incredibly comforting about a cute love story. Of course, the FMC is not the typical omega as she has been with her pack for eight years, but when some unexpected revelations take place, she is faced with some rather harsh truths about the nature of her life and relationships. Quite a pleasant book and I will be checking some of the author's other works.
DNF at 13%. I’ve read a couple of other books by this author which were okay, but this one was too cringe to continue. Saying that someone has “fallen for” someone else within a couple of minutes of meeting them plus the way they talk about the omega and I’m no longer interested.

For the readers of my review, Tying the Knot wasn't the first book in this series. Now, however, it is placed before Tied in Knots (at least, that's the order Amazon shows me). So, I'm not sure, if that is intentionally? Or why there are two versions of Tied in Knots found on Goodreads? As far as I knew, it is just a new cover and not new content? But I found it a little confusing. So, it's something I mention, because of the overall experience. I only have read the first version. So, I don't know more.
But back to Tying the Knot. Same with Tied in Knots, there were parts I liked more and some less. But I like it much better, then Tied in Knots.
Still, I'm not entirely sure about the rating. It is more 3.5 stars for me, than four. But I enjoyed reading it, even though it has some flaws.
It's not the writing or anything. Eve Newton is in that regard very immaculate. But I don't like it, when a story is a row of events, that could have been prevented, but of course aren't. And makes the characters, especially the FMC look stupid in some way.
And that were just two examples. There are more. And I hated it. It didn't fit the image. She is 31 years old. But she doesn't act that way. Sure, I get it, she is traumatized and was sheltered a lot. But again, her behavior doesn't fit that. Like how fast she gets over her hesitance and all.
Other things I didn't like, were the time jumps. I get it. It's a standalone, and so it isn't as detailed as a series could be. But all the important steps and changes are skipped. Like, how she grows with the guys. And how she settles with them. It just said several weeks past, and how everything goes. I don't have a problem with time jumps, when I actually see some moments, and then some time is skipped.
So, really, it was just too rushed for me in many ways. And I still don't get a grasp on the world around them. Like with Tied in Knots, there are still scarce details on the world around them. Sure, there is a government. And we get bits and pieces, like that ex-mated people have a difficult standing? Which I don't get, because there are many reasons, why an omega hasn't a pack anymore. Like dead. And I can't see a reason, why they should stay alone? Especially, when the bonds aren't that permanent, like in other Omegaverse books. As it seems, it can be broken. Like a divorce. It would make more sense, if it were the other way, and it was a permanent thing or a broken bond means, that second bonds aren't as strong or other things like that. But it doesn't seem to be the case in that world. So, why? It isn't really explained.
And then there is the epilogue. It was, of course, sweet, and I'm always happy with a HEA. But it was far from perfect for me.
Still, even though there is a lot I didn't like, the story was interesting and I liked the premise. I would have hoped for more tension with the ex-pack or anything. It felt a little anticlimactic. And two of that ex-pack weren't even mentioned, other than the beginning.
💜Contemporary Omegaverse 💜First person/ Multi POV 💜No MM 💜3 alphas and 1 beta 💜FMC is not a virgin 💜MCs have been with other omegas 💜Ice play scene 💜No OW drama or cheating 💜Pregnancy towards end
FMC- Morgan MCs- Elijah, Caleb, Dylan and Nik
This was better then the first two. Hopefully this trend continues as I liked the 2nd better then the 1st lol. (Not sure though cuz the next book, all the guys are described as playboys and have slept with just about every omega, which I hate the playboy troupe)
I felt bad for the FMC for what her first pack did to her. Though they never treated her bad and she was so in love with them but once she finds out what they really are, she sees everything in a new light. How they gaslighted her and all that. Well, her prime alpha did and the others just went with it.
The liked that guys and thought they were alittle more fleshed out then previous books. I get why they didn’t want to pursue her at first since she was technically still mated. Though Dylan the beta was all in immediately. The others followed quickly and they treated her how she should have been treated.
Storyline was rushed and I’m sad about it because I loved the idea of it. Disappointed that there wasn’t more drama with her old pack. It was pretty rushed and she didn’t even see the other two guys after the fact. And when she finally got to confront Adam, that was very anticlimactic. I don’t get the point of Alfie telling her that they all love her…but I guess that was to try to keep her and was just a lie? I have no doubt that Adam didn’t love her. Once Alfie said that, I thought maybe there would be more to come about that but nothing. One of her new alphas(can’t remember which) said that it seemed like they didn’t care nor did they ask about her or how she was. Well, Pierce asked. Without more background, we will never know if the others actually cared for her or not. Would have loved to see more about them for some reason.

Short sweet omegaverse. The guys are swoonworthy. Of course, since Morgan technically has a pack, despite how crappy they are, the guys try their best to keep their distance. But omegas, alphas, even betas can't seem to help their instincts and this book is no different.
Definitely consider this book a palette cleanser. It is exactly what I needed after reading too many dark books. It has enough drama to be interesting without making me have too many super strong emotions. Although I will say that this one is right on the line because of the crap Morgan's alphas had put her through.
On Morgan's birthday the truth comes out about her alphas, they are criminals. Once arrested she not only finds out what they are, but also that they have been lying and drugging her, keeping her happily ever after just out of reach. The more time she spends away from them the more she realizes that those weren't the only things wrong with the relationship she had with her pack. She also starts to realize just how wrong everything else. Now that she is away from them she realizes they were controlling, manipulative, and constantly doing little things to put her down. Unsure what to do or where to go after everything comes up, she decides to run to a hotel far enough away that she can think. Little does she realize that the hotel she is staying at is in literal walking distance to the pack that arrested her previous one.
Even as a beta Dylan knows that Morgan is perfect for his pack. And when he sees how the alphas of the pack are reacting to her scent he is determined to get involved in her life mated or not. Elijah has had a hard time getting to know an omega for the pack with his ridiculous requirements, but is willing to "settle" for another omega after meeting Morgan, thinking she is the perfect one and can never be theirs. Kaleb is just as obsessed with Morgan as the other two, but doesn't know what to do since she is mated. The others try their best to keep Nik away from Morgan's scent so that he can be the voice of reason. But when she just so happens to show up at the hotel down the street, keeping away is practically impossible, especially when it is so obvious that Morgan, although mated, is the perfect omega for them.

Was looking for a quick omegaverse read and enjoyed this one. I probably won’t read the second because I like a little more character development. I get that her old pack was bad but it would’ve still been nice to see more interactions with them. I also felt like you hardly got to know the new pack. I forgot who was who so often in this book. I did like how a claiming bite could fade and be broken and the steamy parts were good.
Morgan thought her life was over when betrayal tore her pack apart, but fate had other plans, which came in the form of three drool-worthy alphas. Convincing them they’re meant to be her mates isn’t easy, but when danger strikes, sparks fly, and it’s clear these guys were made for her.
Fun, fiery, and full of swoon-worthy moments, Tying the Knot delivers all the romance vibes you crave. If you love protective alphas and a heroine who doesn’t quit, this one's for you!
I almost DNFd this book after reading the first 10 pages. There was no natural development with the characters, the main female was annoying and there were lots of contradictions that I found difficult to look past.
I did finish it in the hopes that it might get better but honestly it felt rushed, a little obvious in it’s plot and the ending didn’t seem thought out.
I was fooled by all the 5 stars. The mfc acts like a child 90% of the time even though she's 31. She has no sense of anything and though the mmc keeps saying they don't want a blah female, that's exactly what she is. Plus the writing is not good. Changes from 1st to 3rd and is overtly descriptive while also being inconsistent.
Good god this was corny but not in a good way. I kept telling myself to DNF but I really just craved a sweet omegaverse story and kept pushing through.
— I learned nothing about the characters — There was plot but it wasn’t detailed enough at all — I skimmed the spicy scenes bc I just didn’t care
I absolutely love these books by Eve Newton! The stories are so won, fearfully easy to get into. The end and her mates are just so perfect together, and she so deserves her happy ever after. I'd recommend her books to anyone who likes omegaverse. She is one of the best at writing them!! As long as she keeps writing them, I'll keep reading them!!
I really liked this until the Uber abrupt ending. I absolutely hate when authors do that. It ruins the entire book. All the feel good feelings you have just disappear in an instant. Ugh. We really deserve the next scene for what was about to happen and each guy’s reaction! I feel so robbed.
Morgan has lived through so much. She is just an accessory to her pack of alphas. She doesn’t even realize how much until the alphas are arrested for crimes that she knew nothing about. The members of the St. Clair pack are part of the team arresting her alphas. They are 3 alphas and a beta. Things soon start getting interesting.
Absolutely loved Morgan’s story and getting to know her and her guys! This book has become my favorite one in this series! It has some action as well as romance and makes for a fantastic read!
I liked it and would recommend if you love insta love, a sweet omega story, and a bit of spice. I like more drama in my Omegaverse books so that is why I gave it 4 stars, I just didn’t get enough of it. Still it was a sweet story and a quick read.
I’m kind of surprised by the lower reviews. I thought this was pretty good. Very sweet. The timing seemed like it should have taken her longer to go from one pack to the next but I didn’t actually want to read about a long wait in between so I’m fine with it.
Good omegaverse! Loved the FMC being slightly older and how the new pack accepted her and worshipped her! It was brilliantly written! Can't wait to read more in this series. I would definitely recommend this if you like a sweet omegaverse.
This book just didn't do it for me. There were some really sweet parts. On the other hand I couldn't stand the need to rub the new mating in the old alphas face. It came off as gross and pathetic to me. Overall it was just OK for me.
Just an ok omegaverse. She never confronts her parents? Or talks to the uncle who helped her out? The romance was ok but also felt lacking. There’s no real substance or getting to know her pack.
