And a black market auction to sell her to the highest bidder.
Turning thirty and being unmated is frowned upon in my community, but I’m not settling for just any old pack.
When I start to get broody, I know it’s time to claim a pack to share my nest with.
Without time to waste, I enter myself into a black market auction where the highest bidder gets this omega. I know what I’m worth and the alphas know I’ll bring them to their knees.
But I’m in no way prepared for the all out bidding war, where the rival packs will do anything claim me.
Will my soul be torn apart in this battle or will I find my ever after?

--Story repetition. We get it, we got three different personality types--but we don't need a rehash of who the broody one is every six pages. --Overly embellished writing. This is not a epic, it's a romance novel with an epic-like writing style, but not in a way that's entertaining, ie. "The tension in the car is so thick you’d need a butcher’s knife to cut it." When sentences like this are stacked so frequently, it really becomes a weird slough. --The characters are so regimented they become caricatures, rather than enjoyable & quirky people. Very hard to invest energy in them that way. --It's just, not an incredibly interesting premise. Rich girl is rich, rich boys are rich, richies find each other because main girl wants someone who respects her looks, bloodline to royalty and wealth? Meh. Couldn't relate, but also, couldn't necessarily respect.
I feel a little bad, but honestly this author could do much better. There is a thread of life there, but I think this particular novel didn't thread the eye at all.
I haven’t DNF’d in a while and gosh this book. I got about 80% after really hoping (and pushing) it would get better and I just couldn’t do it. It was soooo repetitive that the characters said the same thing over and over again. I didn’t like any of the characters. I was bummed because I did really enjoy two of the other books in this series but geez this was bad.
Also possible spoiler: a side character is hospitalized with end stage pneumonia……like what? What is end stage pneumonia; other than it’s the end of the pneumonia. After that I was done and had to stop reading.
I got 25% and gave up. I swear I read another by this author and really liked it. But this one was bad. I didn’t like the over the top writing nor the premise. The girl sounds like a spoiled brat and it made no sense to auction herself. And Silas sounds like a total dick. This was not the one for me.
DNF 70%. This is second book by this author in this series I’ve read and I couldn’t finish it. The storyline seemed interesting, however a good portion of the book seemed to be filler and repetitive mental dialogue. The book simply couldn’t keep my attention.
This is a fun read that will pull you right in. Ellie is not your typical Omega, and because she knows exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it and isn't going to settle for anything less. Now to find herself the perfect pack. Once you start reading this, you will fall in love with the pack that decides Ellie is exactly what they have been waiting for
I feel like the other stories I’ve read in this series were pretty entertaining. This was kind of bland. Not even great knotting scenes. Idk, I was expecting all the spice and it fell short.
I keep getting my hopes up with the omega trope and still a nope. The drama is concluded at 50% of the book and then it’s just filler. There no depth. There’s no chemistry. She’s supposed to be a 30 year old who knows her mind. But it’s just blah.
Well written and easy to read, kinda like a cozy mystery but with a little more smut. There is a bad guy going after the FMC, the good guys save the day, and there is an HEA. What more could you ask for?
Such an interesting twist! Omega Auctions—can they leave a happily ever after ?? Taking such a huge risk is a literal gamble even with an “out clause.”
I wanted to love this one, but I kinda struggled through reading it. Ellie kind of got on my nerves, but I did love her alphas overall. Good omegaverse overall!
