The fifteenth book in this brilliant series & it’s easily read on its own. I loved both Deklan & Grace, I loved the chemistry between them & their verbal bantering. A well paced story, which I read straight through & once again the Book of Love weaves its magic though it has to dig deep this time
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

In the midst of danger, a serious crime that has been committed, and a race against time to retrieve stolen property, the Book of Love still works its magic! Deklan Quinton had a less than orthodox introduction to Grace Montford, but as far as she is concerned, she has nothing else to lose, except her own dignity. Deklan quickly realizes that Grace had been ignorant of her family's activities until the authorities descended upon their home and stripped it of anything of value. Nevertheless, Grace still holds a key to the whereabouts of the stolen item, in that she knows how her father and brother think and what is important to them. The fact that she is ostracized by the people she loves for doing the right thing is painful, but she does win the love and respect of those who matter. The novel is romantic, although suspenseful at times, and Deklan and Grace make the perfect couple as they work together to solve the crime and retrieve the crown. Falling in love is an added bonus and for the first time in his life, Deklan discovers that he can have everything he ever wanted. I received a copy of this delightful novel through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review

💋💋

Deklan and Grace may possibly be my favourite couple in this series.

He’s passionate and tough, so strong in every way, but he’s a pushover for Grace, that makes his character so perfect.
Grace is strong to but in different ways, she’s dealt with so much and now is trying to save herself and her family.

The chemistry is off the charts and this book is written so beautifully, Meara is a wonderful author who I can’t get enough of.
I dread this series ending every time a read a book.
It would suit me if it continued indefinitely.
Awesome work Ms Platt , five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

That magical book is at it again.

Grace Montford's brother and father have ruined the family name with their crimes. Now Grace and the rest of her family are paying the price. Even a totally innocent young woman is not going to be safe from the people who want what was stolen.

Deklan Quinton is an agent for the Crown and has been called in on special assignment. Little does he realise his whole family will be involved and just how much his life will change.

This is a wonderful, witty story filled with excitement and great characters. Our open hearted heroine with nothing left to lose is more than a match for an experienced loner who fights all enemies.

Great fun.

Deklan and Grace whew what a ride. From tidbits in other stories I knew when Deklan fell it would be hard! He did not disappoint. Grace on the other hand…. I didn’t realize how young she was until almost the end of the book.
These two start off on the wrong foot and I still wonder if someone didn’t plan thst Deklan would encounter her in his old room he normally slept in at Miranda home!
Well Grace has a horrible father and brother even after the way they treated her she still advocates for them! Hopefully on behalf of her younger siblings!
Deklan has been charged to protect her she is a pawn and unwilling one at that! Her older brother has stolen a crown from a ruling monarch and are livid to say the least!
Immediately they share a room because some people want her dead and others in exchange for the crown! Let the games begin! I felt for her when her evil father yes evil treats her with such disdain and she finally sees him for the selfish jerk he is!
There adventures take them many place alone so they pose as husband and wife! Grace is very uncomfortable with lying! As if she doesn’t know the ruthlessness of the Ton! She’s never been presented but definitely raised as a lady and was actually in talks with a Duke before her family’s fall!
Grace one moment was brave and courageous and the next bemoaning her attraction to Deklan! She could have asked yes the man has a reputation but he is a spy for the Crown! A seasoned warrior so definitely knows what he wants! Grace is so convinced she and her family will be forever shunned she is amazed that her act was f kindness earned a life long friendship!
Not to discount the Book of Love did it’s thing! Definitely had an effect on Deklan and helped him put his feelings in perspective! Get ready to not put this one down!! Bravo! Deklan is funny and gorgeous and also lethal!

This is such a fun, quick paced, insta love romance that has our couple on the run and tied up in a fake marriage in order to keep the heroine safe. This novel is full of delightful tropes that work beautifully together to create the perfect swoon-worthy escape. Meara Platt has such a wonderful tone to her books that quickly draw you in and keep you engaged and on a fun and wild ride. I love that I know exactly what to expect when I pick up a Platt novel and I am never disappointed! If you love a sweet and charming historical romance look no further than The Miracle of Love. This is the 15th book in The Book of Love series, and while it can be read as a stand alone, I do believe that you will have a better grasp on the underlining plot that drives the action of this story.

In this novel, Platt has gifted readers with a sweet and sheltered heroine who is learning to stand on her own two feet after the disgrace her brother and father have brought to their family name. Grace, is still kind and trust worthy and she learns to rely and trust others in order to stay safe. Deklan, is an agent of the crown, he is fearless and smart, and he will protect Grace to the best of his abilities. When these two meet, not only is their meet cute perfect hilarious, but their chemistry is off the charts. I loved watching the action of the plot force these two into tight situations where they have to fully rely on the other. I love that they both swiftly and steadily fall in love with the other. I love that they both work really well together and they both feel like equals throughout their situation. Meara Platt ramps up the sensuality throughout the novel and moments of physicality are beautiful markers to show the trust and love these two have for the other.

If you love Meara Platt and this series, you are going to be delighted with this installment. Each novel is a charming gift that I find such wonderful joy in. If you have not picked up a Platt novel I highly suggest starting at the top of this series and working your way through, you will not be disappointed!

Thank you to Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley for an eARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Book of Love series is going strong with the addition of this latest installment, The Miracle of Love. Grace and her family are paying the price of her father and brother's crimes. Her brother has stolen a priceless crown from a foreign royal house, and now Grace's life is in danger. Her brother's actions have caused her family to be ruined and disgraced. Foreign agents believe she knows where her brother has hidden the crown and wish to take her hostage in order to get it back. Deklan is the top agent for the Crown and is given a new assignment to retrieve the crown. He always meets with success as he doesn't let personal feelings get in the way of his work. But things are different with this new assignment which will affect his whole family and change his life. He needs to find that crown in order to keep Grace safe. He and Grace have one week to retrieve and return the crown before the foreign agents take her in their custody. The story is full of suspense and intrigue, and of course romance, as they work together to find the crown and solve the mystery, racing against time to keep Grace safe. Deklan and Grace had great chemistry and I easily got caught up in the danger and romance. The story kept me engaged from start to finish and was a delight to read. The series never fails to enchant and captivate and this book was no exception. A delightful addition to the series!

Deklan Quinton is the Crown's top agent, and when an international theft of a priceless international crown threatens to start a war, Deklan is assigned to protect Grace Montford, the daughter of the thief. Grace doesn't understand why she's in danger from foreign agents and has a hard time reconciling to the fact that Deklan is her protector until the incident is resolved, but the more time she spends with him, the more her heart is engaged. Can the delicate beauty tame the beast, or will Deklan leave her the minute the assignment is complete?

This was another cute story from Ms. Platt. I loved the opening scene when Deklan first becomes acquainted with Grace. That was both funny and touching, especially with the addition of his mother and aunt in the scene. Deklan lives a solitary life as an agent and bristles when Grace refers to him as a leopard--a solitary hunter who answers to no one. As the danger mounts, Deklan and Grace must race out of London and try to uncover the hiding spot of the royal crown. I thought the middle of the book dragged a bit, and of course, there's the "insta-love" of these two--already in love after only two days?? That's not very realistic, but it is the nature of these 'Book of Love' stories. Ms. Platt has delivered another enjoyable read, and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I voluntarily read this advanced reader copy and all opinions are my own.

The Shunned Thief's Daughter & The Crown's Fearless Top Agent...

Immediately, THE MIRACLE OF LOVE, had me delightfully smiling and biting back laughter as Deklan was blown away by the beautiful innocent, Grace, at meet cute.
While, an array of much beloved and familiar subcharacters intensified the joy by dazzling with the alluring charm of the Quinton/Brayden family alliance in all its wit, humour and emcompassing, protective, warmth.
The banter was quickly delivered and kept coming, the sentiment heartwarming and amusing and the allure of their sparking chemistry, fulfilled the promise instantly given as it hotted up and guided the plot throughout.
Enriching a sweet romance led tale, shadowed by jeopardy, that effortlessly drew me in as Deklan and Grace comforted, clashed, compromised, protected and flourished as they worked together to prevent a political war igniting, while fanning the flames of a love that undeniably built so endearingly between them.
Can Deklan put official duty first? Or will being assigned to safeguard the beguiling Grace, from those driven to ransom her, see him finally prioritising his duty to his heart? I was thoroughly swept away in the finding out.
Another wonderful addition to a fabulously amusing and touchingly moving series, that flows so fluently, is heartwarming and immeasurably uplifting!

I have been looking forward to this author's top agent for the Crown & Leopard eyes, Deklan Quinton - he did not disappoint and is everything a hunky, rakish, hero should be. His newest assignment is to protect the innocent daughter & sister of two criminals and recover a royal crown used for the ceremonial investiture that the men had stolen from a foreign country.

Grace Montfort is the kind, beautiful, innocent that has been ruined due to her father & brother's illegal actions. Her mother & younger siblings have been put to shame and have no money. Now she is being placed under protection by a rude, outspoken rake that she is forced to spend time with but will try and help him recover the stolen crown........and, oh, did I mention he is the most handsome man she has ever seen?

Their trip was full of fun, danger, reading the Book of Love, their bantering is hilarious, and I loved their discussions about the 5 Senses. I adored Deklan's observation that there should be a sixth sense - Sense of Character and his explanation was fascinating. The romantic jaunt for them was perfect and they were meant to be together - she brought the best out of Deklan and the more Grace was with Deklan, the stronger and more confident she became. I loved the couple!

The Miracle of Love by Meara Platt is another in the Book of Love series. It is not so different from any of the other books in the series, either in plot or character development. What makes it so fun to read is Meara Platt as the story teller. She is beyond good at it, between the details with which she imbues the story and just the personality she gives it. She was born to do this and I will keep reading as long as she keeps writing.

A reluctant lover and an innocent, but lovely young woman. Both in love, neither recognize it. He is busy trying to save her from being kidnapped in retribution for something her father and half-brother did. She is forced to face the reality of them as she never had before, but she doesn’t let it break her. She moves forward. People insult her in public and she rises to the occasion. Every time. He recognizes the close call he had with a woman to whom he had been attracted in the past. It’s all very fun, not to mention the chase: both of them.

I was invited to read a free e-ARC of the Miracle of Love by Dragonblade, through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #Netgalley #Dragonblade #MearaPlatt #TheMiracleOfLove

Even though book 15 of the series, it is a stand alone. If you've read the series, this one was more repetitive in going over the Book of Love.

I did enjoy the interaction of the H/h. He is the top agent of the Crown and she is a daughter and sister of someone who stole something from another country. The H is in charge of her protection and my opinion of him and she went down. There was an attempt on her life where 4 men came after them. Wouldn't you think they'd get more protection to keep her safe? Nope, they go off on their own with more than 2 fractions after them.

Romance builds slowly and it is a very bumpy road to HEA. Lovemaking within marriage, heat level 3+ out of 5.

The H is known as a Rogue and I liked that the h made it clear she would not tolerate a husband who cheated on her. Many times in these stories, the women keep quiet on this and I also applaud when this is mentioned. I certainly would be questioning it - lol!

Suspenseful at times, no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a sweet epilogue 6+ months in the future. I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you some tidbits to decide to purchase. (ljb)

This book was cute!
I liked the interactions and banter with the characters, and the plot was intriguing to be kept along with their romance as well. I think the two of them are very sweet together.
Granted I assumed it would be the typical romance books where while things are connected (plots, characters, etc) that this would be easy to jump in- that wasn’t the case. Given I haven’t read the abundance of prior titles to this, I feel there was context missing (to no fault of the author, I just assumed it was an easy jump into). The more I continued the book, the stronger the characters got. It was easier to picture the two together for even though they each had their motivations, it felt a bit too “instant-love” for my personal taste.

I’d be very happy to recommend this title for the library adult romance section given that we’d be able to get the other copies as well, that way the authors lovely vision is complete. :)
Thank you for the opportunity for this read/ARC and I enjoyed the romance elements a lot.

The sweet taming of a leopard. Deklan Quinton is the lone wildcat of the family. The pride of the Crown, top agent and protector. Once assigned to find the crown stolen by Grace Montford’s brother & father, he finds little choice but to protect her above all else. From their very first encounter she invades his mind & heart. Grace is everything sweet & compassionate, the very opposite of Deklan but that is what makes them fit. The best match fills the gaps of the other, encouraging them to their better self. I truly enjoyed Deklan’s gentle handling of Grace and all the ways he strove to make her comfortable in an impossible situation. This story delved deep into The Book of Love, really dissecting its principles and intent. Despite the intrigue surrounding the stolen crown and the hostage attempts, the story stayed on a clear path of connecting these two. The story truly succeeds in all the little details, the way Grace teases him and her strong convictions. A true treat to read.

*I received a free ARC from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review*

I hate to say this about a novel by Meara Platt (who I have enjoyed in the past) but this story was just boring. Luckily, I had read the book previous to this one in the series or else I would have really felt out of the loop because it relies so heavily on those previous events. I will say, the entire book isn't boring - the beginning is very interesting and there is a sense of danger for Grace that was not maintained throughout. I really liked Grace and enjoyed seeing her start to develop more confidence in herself. I was so disappointed for her when she found out what her father was really like. I thought Deklan was a little too high-handed with her and his interest in her came a little too quickly. Had Ms. Platt just upped the drama/intrigue a little bit for the middle of the story I would probably have enjoyed it so much more.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Absolutely wonderful

The opening scene in marvelously written providing readers with a laugh out loud introduction to Deklan and Grace. You will see the meddling of Lady Miranda and Deklan’s mother. As a top agent for the Crown his assignment is Grace. Her family in ruins, being sought by foreign agents seeking take her hostage. Oh, and his brother bestowed the Book of Love upon him.
Deklan is portrayed as a leopard throughout the book. I can see him in my minds eye, stealthy, sleek, cat like and beautiful. Grace is depicted as sweetness and light, wounded by her thieving family. While running they discover love.
This story is beautifully written. Meara Platt has the ability to paint a picture with words. She draws her readers into the story not as observers but as participants. I loved the way family members are brought in to the story. Much like visiting old friends. The Miracle of Love is ripe with love and laughter!

Courageous Grace

The scandal thar hits the Montford family is awful. The only one who is taking the brunt of the scorn is Grace and she has not had a debut yet. Abandoned by society and friend Lady Miranda invites her to her house for Christmas.
Deklan is home on assignment to protect Grace and has to find her. He found her in his bed at Aunt Miranda's house. This is great he can protect her and love her all at once. When Grace learns, she is to be close with Deklan by sleeping in the same room her innocent heart is torn between the scandal and attraction to him. Deklan and Grace go on a journey to retrieve the crown her brother stole to prevent a war. On this journey they read the book of love and argue about what is sensible and practical to do. Once the find the crown and tur. It over they have to wait for it to be safe to go home. They go to Brighton and learn more about each other and the love they are both afraid to admit to themselves and each other.

This novel was an enjoyable read in the Book of Love series. Another man and lady fall in love with each other from the moment they unexpectedly meet. She was just supposed to be an assignment, but ended up being so much more to him. She was only trying to save her family, but ended up falling in love with him. Who could marry someone with such scandal due to their family’s unethical choices? This novel was a nice holiday read, bringing two people together, one not looking for commitment due to his duty and the other hiding away from society due to her family’s shame. An adventure together brings them closer, for by only returning what was taken will set her free and allow them both to be with each other in the way they truly desire. I received this novel from net galley and the publisher. Thank you! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

OMG glorious

Declan is such a fun, sarcastic, open, sexy character. He just openly says what he thinks with his close family. He has no filters. Grace is elegant, loyal, innocent ,naive, funny, determined honest. She is the sunshine to his darkness. There meet cute is hysterical. There really isn’t that much tension just a lot of movement. I love the imagery of a leopard to describe Declan’s physicality and personality and his realization of his flaws. These books are fun. The families they embrace become friends to the reader as the stories continue. They can be read in any order but reading in numerical order is more fun. Also read the Farthingale series, the Brayden series, and the Cameron series. The worlds are all interspersed. These books are happy reads. I look forward to more books by this author!

I finished this book over the holidays and am just now getting around to reviewing it. It's a quick read but disappointing coming from someone like Meara Platt, whose writing I've liked in the past. I'll admit that I didn't read the previous books in this series after maybe book 5 or 6, so maybe it's me, but I felt like I was just sort of tossed into the proceedings at the beginning. The dialog, world-building, and the plot were too simplistic and what could have been a tense storyline fell flat. Neither of the MC's felt real to me and their relationship just seemed based on instalust. Maybe it's because I just finished books by Charlie Lane and Tracy Sumner, who never fail to put some flare into their writing, but there was nothing here that really touched my emotions.

A royal crown, belonging to a foreign country, is stolen and could bring conflict between nations if not recovered. Deklan Quinton is a top agent and it's his job to recover the foreign country's crown and protect the young lady caught in the middle. Grace Montford has no idea what her father and step-brother have done with the crown. She knows their only objective is to hold it for ransom. It's a dangerous game they play putting Grace's life on the line. Deklan has no objections to protecting the lady, especially when the discussion involves the Book Of Love. A sweet amusing romance that has just a little danger in the background and a little heat.

What a great start, grabs you from the first page. Deklan, the Crown’s best agent returns home for the holidays and to start a new assignment. Unknowingly she happens to be in his bed, Grace’s father and brother has committed a art heist and now the whole family is in disgrace. Together they work to find the missing crown and also learn from the magical book of love.
I loved the beginning, but the discussions on the book of love was a bit to long. Seemed to drag on and on. I read a few others in this series and will rate this 3.5. This is the 15th book from Book of Love series. My first book from this author, and it is sooo good.

The opening was good, make me laugh and cant stop reading. Author write so smooth and i enjoy how the main problem unfold. How stubborn Deklan is, bickering with Grace because she reject the idea married him. I think Grace reason was make sense.

Thank you to NetGalley for provide this book, it is pleasure to review this book.

Lovely Romance historical novel series!

This series of romantic escapes has been a pure joy to read. It's a very cleverly designed string of romance, drama, and intrigue that captures the interest of the reader immediately. I had to read all 15 novels in sequence just to satisfy my desire for the historical language and descriptive scenes. Wonderfully engaging writing. The explicit sex scenes were a bit too graphic for me, but not to the point of discarding the story line. All in all, a good fun enjoyable read.

An entertaining and intriguing romance with lots going on. Although part of a long series it can be read as a stand alone as the series has spread out much further than the immediate family and friends. Both character's are strong willed although different they suite each other well. It is quite fast paced from the beginning as it's a shorter story and has lots to get through. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Another Great Book in the Series

I normally only read squeaky clean regency romances, but I love this series and some of its hotter love scenes. All of the heroes and heroines are gentlemen and ladies, and the love of family is strong in every book. Deklan and Grace are beautiful and funny together, a perfect relationship. If only all relationships were as good at communication and appreciating each other. Loved the ending.
