not good
Can’t recommend. This is a nasty book with a nasty MC that is psychotic. A murderer and self deluded monster that the author tries to make sound good and interesting. He’s neither. He is just nasty, and makes me wonder about the authors state of mind.

A bad man who does bad things, but a good story
Mr Porter writes a story where the main character is an irredeemably bad man, but does so in such a way that the reader can sympathize with him, and even cheer on his victories.
No mean feat.
Five stars from me.

End?
Finally a good guy wins? This book started out very slowly and ends with a bang. Hopefully we will hear more of Simon's adventures later!

What a transformation, fun story of someone who's been beat down to the point he says fuck it and breaks all the rules and comes out on top.

Entertaining story that bog down when Azeral keeps whining about what he could do with full powers back. Very unsatificatry ending to the overall story!

Dissapointing, derivative, mess. The protagonist is extremely unlikable, the plot doesn't make sense, the setting is generic.
Couldn't bother to finish it.
