Camille was looking at building a beautiful full life with her jazz/saxophonist husband, until tragedy dashed those hopes. Holding on to one dream...having her husband’s child, she conceives through alternative methods. Nickolas has struggled through many lost dreams. Last, being his wife and unborn child.
Hadley Fertility Clinic surprised them both! A simple mix up could mean two parents who never met and are from opposite sides of all tracks, will be tied together forever. Now, both will fight their hardest to possess the one thing, they have both wanted, that could never be divided.
From reading the first few pages, I could not put it down before I knew it I was on page 100. I like that he author made a lot of descriptive references to the city (New Orleans) in which the story took place, kind of like a mini tour of popular spots. Both characters had tragedies in the past so you find yourself really rooting for them. Neither character hit my annoying or slightly annoying button. I do not like to give anything away so I will simply say the story line was unexpected in a very good way. So if you like sweet love stories where the characters are not so flawed you will like this book. If you need dark dramatic inner turmoil this may not so much be for you.
Clark’s purpose in writing the book, Twist of fate, is to let her readers know that happiness can be found anywhere at any time. It is the devotional experience of living every minute with love, courtesy & appreciation. Twist of fate offers aspiration, tranquility and affection to its readers. I teach us that we should forget all the reasons why something’s won’t work and believe the one reason that it will. Twist of fate inspires many to accept new challenges in life. It catches many emotions which leaves the reader wanting more. Different forms of romance are shown in this!
Twist of fate is remarkably well written. The story was simple to read, but it included a wide range of sentence structures. Friendship is provided by the author to appeal to the young readers is a very distinctive way. For example, Nicholas stands up for Camille when his mom tries to insult her “How else am I supposed to look at you after the way you just trashed my wife’s” (Clark 336). Clark is very creative in grabbing audience’s attention.
This book was truly captivating. This romance is told like other romances but what makes it different is that it never leaves your attention. The feels the characters emotions as if it was realistic. Having laughter and some tears will be normal while reading this book. The two main characters Camille and Nicholas both have tragedies so you will find yourself striking for them at the end. This book would The greatest strength of the book, Twist of fate, is that it is told in a way that you can connect to it. Of course, it’s good to read certain books like Maybe Someday and Twisted, but none of these books are on the same level as Twist of fate. This demonstrate when Camille brother Jamal clarifies how much he will protect her , “ I don’t want her upset any more than necessary” (Clark 35). The author made sure to include references in New Orleans to make it credible. The greatest weakness of the book is that it ends where you’re starting to really pay attention to story. It’s the second best book I’ve read besides The Notebook. I would definitely recommend this book to developed audiences. It has opened my eyes to all sorts of possibilities like how to love and be hopeful, and I know that it will have the same positive effect on other readers
The characters in this book made you feel like you were in their position. I felt so connected to them and their stories. Camille would have been an easier person for single moms to connect to. She relies on no one but herself and she can support herself without any help. She is very precise with the kind of people she allows in her life which is good so they don’t use her. In conclusion this book was impressively fascinating and heartwarming.
Although the story was a little unrealistic. I still enjoyed it. And hey that's what reading is all about imagination. So, despite that fact that I thought it was a highly unlikely story. I thought it was a sweet and romantic little novel.
This was a very entertaining book. It was poorly edited however a great read for a vacation. I do believe her set up was a bit questionable but she had to get to the plot in some way.
There were quite a few sex scenes, but I felt they were artistically done. Much more bareable than say a Zane book.
Awful clunky writing, more of the usual lust-at-first-sight meetings between the flat/chemistry-less hero and heroine, blah blah. I don't even know why I bother trying to read these, but every time I see them, I grab them off the shelf hoping that maybe this time it'll be readable.
I really enjoyed this book. I have read it more than once, and I still enjoy this journey to love. I didn't feel like this story was rushed or that it left unanswered questions, but I am most pleased by the effort taken by the author to really give this story a complete ending. I have read many books, that have left me hanging and wondering "What Next", but not this one. This book would make a great chick flick, I would definately go see it.
Clark’s purpose in writing her book, Twist of fate, is to let her readers know that happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, or worn. It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace & gratitude. Twist of fate offers hope, peace and love to its readers. I teach us that we should forget all the reasons why something’s won’t work and believe the one reason that it will. Twist of fate is truly an inspiration. It captures so many emotions that leaves the reader wanting more. The many different forms of romance shown in this book would go on forever in the indigo spectrum of romance. Twist of fate is exceptionally well written. This story was easy to read, but still compromises a wide range of vocabulary and sentence structure. The author also provides friendship and maintenance that can appeal to the young mind in a very unique way. For example, the main characters spouse shows her attention by telling the next person that’s trying to hurt her “You have no idea what kind of problems your mistakes have caused. You’ve complicated not only my life but also the life of my child’s mother” (Clark 88). Clark most defiantly knows how to capture the audience’s attention. This novel was truly captivating. The love story that was told in this novel was similar to other love stories but what makes it different is that it never stops getting your attention. The reader would fell the emotions as if it was real. They might laugh, and at times they might even shed a tear. The main characters in this book had tragedies in the past so you find yourself really rooting for them at the end. This book possesses the elements for an undeniably interesting, thought-provoking story and very dramatic. The greatest strength of the novel, Twist of fate, is that it is told in a completely realistic way. Yes, it is fun to read certain books like bound by love and A love to cherish, but none of these novels can compare to the realistic human traits as Twist of fate. This exemplified when the main characters brother clarifies how much he cares for her by saying, “if you hurt her in any way, Cardoneaux” (Clark 95). Also it was very impressive how the author made a lot of descriptive references to the city (New Orleans) in which the story took place, and the mini tour of the popular antiques. The greatest weakness of the book is that it ends where you don’t want it to. It is honestly one of the greatest books that I have ever read. I would absolutely recommend this book to mainly mature audiences. It has opened my eyes to all sorts of possibilities like how to love and be hopeful, and I know that it will have the same positive effect on other readers.
The characters in this book were really realistic. I felt so connected to them and their stories. The one person that I felt connected to most is Camille. She is a strong independent woman that can hold her ground. She doesn’t let any man just come into her life and at the same time just leave like that leaving her heart broken. Over all I would like to sum that this book was magnificently interesting and heartwarming.

Well I have to say I was a bit desapointed by this one.The characters were lkeable to a point but I could not stand all the drama around the story(family's opinions ...) and the ending pretty much ruinde it for me.overall not great
Seriously, the only thing I can say about this book is ridiculous. There were so many grammar errors, typos, no to mention, this book was just predictable. The only reason it's getting one star is for the family's happy ending.
I think so far, it has been a mysterious story.. I believe reading further, would be as incredible as it has been before.. Waiting for the whole part to be revealed b/w the two!
