Special episodes years after their marriage and some sweet moments. Plus side stories for college Sehyun (Doojoon's niece) and her boyfriend Taewoo and the main couple's kid, Byeori with her childhood sweetheart Junseo. Adorable kids. 😍😍😍
Glad I reread this manhwa. I still thoroughly enjoyed it. ❤❤❤
The special final episodes of Positively Yours were truly perfect. The writer did a fantastic job updating readers on Se-Hyun and Tae-Woo, which was such a refreshing and satisfying touch. I honestly don’t think I could have gone on without knowing what happened to them!
In these last episodes, we got a deeper glimpse into Hee-Won and Doo-Joon’s lives as parents, especially their dynamic with Byeo-Ri, who is undeniably her father’s daughter, her personality had me laughing so much! The introduction of Joon-Seo’s little crush on Byeo-Ri was absolutely adorable, adding an extra layer of charm to the ending.
I truly hope the writer considers creating a sequel centered around the next generation, exploring Byeo-Ri and Joon-Seo’s story, or even revisiting Se-Hyun and Tae-Woo. This series wrapped up beautifully, and I enjoyed every moment of these final chapters!
This one was adorable. I don't think I'll ever reread this, but it's a nice love story. And I love reading about families with kids, so them, their neighbors and their relatives were great.
The story is quite cliché, but it is well executed. Even with typical plot points designed to evoke the desired anguish for the target audience, the author avoids taking the easy way out. She carefully develops the heroine before fully establishing the couple and their romance. However, at times, the author handles key plot elements carelessly—such as the heroine’s pregnancy, which only shows its impact when it serves the creator’s intent. Despite this, there is a clear effort to craft a smooth and thoughtful trajectory for the romance. The hero is very patient, embodying almost a romantic fantasy. Still, the story never aspires to be more than what it is, and that’s perfectly fine.
Note for those considering reading it: The character development focuses primarily on the heroine, while the hero takes a more passive role, patiently drawing her into his life. It’s a well-done cliché romance featuring a couple that remains united throughout the drama. 🌻
It was surprisingly good! Positively Yours started in a reverse order for the romance story between the main characters, which I think was pretty interesting.
This story started with FL having a one night stand with a guy she met in a bar after hastily going there mending a broken heart because her bff that she has a crush on is now dating their other close friend. She thought it was just a one night stand until she met the director of the school that she teaches at. Imagine the surprise, lol.
The romance after the second meet didn’t have a good start mostly because of MLs annoying mouth. He was quite annoying, but he eventually grew on me, since that’s just how he is. The sudden pregnancy didn’t help either, lol, since it was unexpected. I thought he was just being responsible, but as I read further, I think he was being controlling and a bit forceful. He wants to marry the FL since she’s pregnant but he is being incessant about it which I think is not a good thing if they are just starting with their “relationship”. But oh well, goodluck for their married life later on then, lol.
The creator’s take on their married life was pretty realistic, so I really like reading that. It shows us the struggle of their marriage life considering it didn’t start with love. That’s why it was really rewarding seeing the confession part after what they went through.
Unlike Daytime Star, I don’t think I love either of the main characters in this manhwa, but I do love their chemistry. The ML may not be my favorite, but it was still enjoyable to read his character development. The FL on the other hand is sometimes annoying, but still better than other stupid fantasy FL out there, lol. Her family troubles was quite sad, but I’m glad she finally able to overcome that in the side story, *wink.
Their scenes with MLs family were also quite hilarious and funny to read, lol.
Contrary to what I expected, her crush and their other close friend was not annoying. Actually, their friendship was really nice to read. It may sound a bit awkward since your two close friends suddenly started dating, but in the end you could see that they really are meant for each other.
There was also a stalking psycho which was a little annoying, but it feels like it was just added there for the drama. Overall, it was still tolerable, *wink.
Lastly, the art was surprisingly good. Definitely no complaints, especially on the character design, *wink.
As per usual, this manhwa also has some side stories, with babies and romance of the side characters, so it was extremely enjoyable to read. If you are craving for a modern romance, then Positively Yours should be on your list!
I really liked this manhwa. Other than chaotic characters, I like how this talks about what female faces in the society, especially as being a pregnant or being a mother. We can see how Heewon struggles with not being provided a good childhood, especially before and after her parents divorce and how deep the trauma this has caused on her end that she is afraid that she and Dojoon will have the same fate as her parents. We also see how she struggles continuing her career despite the things she heard from her colleagues. I like that she was able to overcome it without relying too much to Dojoon. I like how attentive and caring Dojoon is. He might be pushy especially with the wedding, but I like that he has that sense of responsibility which is really rare in men nowadays. Overall, this is such a good read.

3.5 ⭐ (marking this one but meaning the whole series, as I just want it to count as one book)
Art was amazing, story was cute and fluffy, but at times it fell a bit flat. MMC is perfect tho I love him. It honestly felt too long, it felt like watching a kdrama where episodes take an hour and nothing happens. It's cute but it's not necessary for it to have the same situation a thousand times, just in different scenarios.
SPOILER FROM HERE
I also didn't enjoy her leaving teaching altogether, she clearly really liked it. She could have changed schools? I understand she got a doctorate but she wasn't at all interested in that. Also her mom is a bitch and suddenly she wants to be better haha no. I also understand they can love each other but you can't say that your wife comes above your kid, that just doesn't sound okay to me, they should at least be equal
Basic plot: After a 1-night stand, Hee-Won finds herself pregnant. Doyun is determined to win her over and marry the mother of his child.
I'm reviewing the entire series as a whole instead of reviewing each individual issue. I read the English translation of this series via the Tapas app.
Such a cheesy plot description for a story that was really full of humor and depth. The characters were relatable and the situation, while it seems rather outside of typical American standards, is about a different culture that has different ways of doing things. It's eye-opening. I really felt for the characters as they navigated the strange waters they found themselves in. The art was consistently beautiful, and helped tell the visual story when words alone just aren't enough.
Short and sweet love story of a woman who has a one night stand with a chaebol cutiepie & gets pregnant. The ML is ready to take responsibility but the FL is reluctant to marry someone if not for love. She believes that just because two people are having a child doesn't mean they need to get stuck together in a loveless marriage. Hence begins our hero's quest at winning the woman's heart whom he already adores because of her kind personality. So, they agree to date and find out if it can work.
Will his family accept her?
Will her family accept him?
Will they really love each other?
A cute get-together story of two unlikely people just like in K-dramas. Overall a wonderful love story.
***This review was written in 2022 when I originally read this story, and it is meant to be a review for the series as a whole, not just this volume
This was very good. The beginning was a bit weird, but I really liked the progression of their relationship. I will say, though, reading this at the same time as I read A Business Proposal didn't do it any favors because they're so similar but ABP is much better... Still liked this quite a bit, though.

More of Se-hyun and Tae-won’s story pls. They’re so intriguing, I just wanted to read about them the entire time. Whenever they appeared, I was giggling so hard. Anyway, not a bad manhwa, I liked it.
A sweet and emotional manhwa with lovely art and a heartfelt story. The romance is slow but touching, though some parts felt a bit rushed. Still, a sweet and enjoyable read overall.
