Lucia Catherine is an international bestselling and award-winning author. She creates stories about transformation, love and happiness. Her stories are sharp, honest, real, intense and sometimes have a comical edge. She lives at the beaches of Lower Delaware, where she finds most of her inspiration. Lucia loves spending time with her family and friends. She's addicted to coffee, chocolate, good books, being on the water, and her dogs
Wanderlust had me hooked after chapter two. Lucia did a phenomenal job describing the characters looks, personalities, and shortfalls. Wanderlust tells the story of two individuals that find themselves in an unimaginable situation. Something every parent fears. Two good people, Chase and Erica, deal with issues that most relationships are able to avoid. Lucia’s words encapsulated the events perfectly.
Communication is the key, and this lesson should be taught early in life. I really enjoyed reading Wanderlust, it brought laughter and tears. The sex scenes were vivid and appropriate for this story. I highly recommend Wanderlust by Lucia Catherine, you won’t be disappointed.
This is the fourth book I read by this author and her stories are amazing. Chase and Erica meet and neither wants a relationship so they decide to be friends with benefits and they are both having the time of their lives until a tragic accident happens and their lives will be forever changed.
Wanderlust, by Lucia Catherine, follows the blossoming romance between two kindred spirits, Erica and Chase. Despite loving the lives they’ve built, they both suffer from a fear of commitment, which serves as a common thread that brings them together. The story begins with Chase, a best-selling author, who decides to settle down in Sandy Brae, a small coastal town in Virginia. It’s here that he meets Erica, a world-renowned photographer, and their connection is undeniable.
Initially, they both agree to a friends-with-benefits relationship but soon realize that they were meant to be more than just that. Chase’s life is further complicated when tragedy strikes, and he becomes the guardian of his sister’s children. Erica steps up to help him navigate this new normal, and as she falls in love with him and his family, they decide to get married to retain custody of the children. However, this causes conflict in their relationship, and they begin questioning their feelings for each other.
Catherine’s writing style is consistent and flows seamlessly, and her tone is both earnest and colloquial. The main characters are well-developed, and the author expertly reveals different layers of them throughout the novel. The communication between Erica and Chase can sometimes be frustrating, but it adds depth to their dynamic and immerses the reader further into their story. Despite the many important pieces to the plot, the author avoids confusion, making it easy for the reader to follow.
Wanderlust is a beautifully written novel that expertly weaves together romance, family, and commitment themes. It explores how relationships change over time and how people change with them. It’s a story of learning to love, trust, and find the things that matter in life. It’s a perfect read for fans of made-family and romance genres.
First off let me say this Oh My God, I absolutely loved this book. This is my first book by author Lucia Catherine and wow. This book has just enough romance, tragedy, steaminess, and passion. You really feel all types of emotions with this one. In my mind Chase Cornell is one fine piece of a man. He is straight up bachelor lifestyle until he meets Erica Wilson. They both have been through some stuff so neither want a relationship, so they go for the next best thing Friends with Benefits. This book had me hooked from Page one through the end. This may be my first book from this author but I be adding more to my collection of need to read.
He's a writer, she's a photographer. They'd both like a commitment-free "friends-with-benefits." But his twin sister's kids fall into their lives and suddenly more of family-life parenting routine is necessary. Will they survive? Will their spirits survive? Maybe a better question could be, can a natural romance continue where it was so suddenly interrupted. Fortunately the sex is fantastic, and you can figure out the rest.
"Wanderlust" it looks to be a romance novel that features two main characters who experience tragedy while enjoying life. The book kinda explores how they navigate their unexpected circumstances and how it affects their relationship. Potential readers may be interested in the exciting journey they've withstood and how it impacts their romance. But you too might get jealous if you're relationship isn't intack- just offering. Buckle !
A lovely written story about two successful people with commitment issues having to put it all aside when they ‘inherit’ a family. The story is nicely told, as both, much to their surprise, fall in love, then suspect the other of cheating, and the story drives along at a pace. In the end, they are happier with the thing that they want to reject, obligation and duty. It is a story about commitment, truth, and how unfounded suspicions can taint a relationship and where communication can help it.
There is lots of emotion in this book. I augh, cried, cheered for this couple. Chase and Erica start out as friends with benefits and then life throws them a curve ball and the game changes. Love can give you strength and compassion in amazing ways. This is a read I did not want to put down until I finished it. Will be looking for more books by the author in the future.
This book takes you on a journey, two people who think they are happy alone meet and sparks fly, then life and tragedy happen pushing them together, but can they rub along together and stay together. I found myself getting mad at the characters for just not talking to each other, the story keeps you guessing. really enjoyed this book
I loved this story. Lucia added some hints as to the way the story might go but then another twist got us on the right path and kept my attention until I finished it way past my bedtime. Looking forward to the next book I'm the series.
Another fab read by this author. This book made me sob, laugh and cry some more. The characters, event the children became real to me. It played like a movie in my mind. So well done. Read this, you cannot put it down! ~Katie
Romantic novel of ups and downs. Emotional story that keeps you captivated in strange situations. Little bit racy but I suppose relevant for the story. Wonderfully woven characters keep this this story together.
she literally comes into this guy Chase’s life and saves it. And Chase is so neurotic, he makes Alvy Singer look like John Shaft. I swear, I liked Paolo more for her.
Still thinking about this book and Erica and Chase long after I finished this book. A twisty love story about friends with benefits and a tragedy that upheld their lives. Highly recommend.
Chase and Erica's story - a friends with benefits story until life happens and their path takes a turn. An intriguing and emotional read. One I became immersed in from beginning to end.
A great story about love, life and two people who attempt to navigate their “ friends with benefits” relationship despite the pull they feel and the events that arise to prevent a happy ending from happening. Great read!
