Нарешті прочитала про Санто😍 В минулих історіях його показували як супер небезпечного, холодного та небагатослівним персонажем. Але, те як він захищає свою родину🥰 і взагалі він не настільки і поганий.

Мінус в тому, що він викрав доньку губернатора, його ворога. Я прекрасно розумію, що Санто захищає свою родину, але викрадати когось, хто взагалі не причетний до справ – тупо.

Прекрасно розумію Ерін коли та хотіла якось втекти від свого викрадача, але не маючи уявлень де вона, хто її охороняє, чи взагалі можна вийти з його будинку, вона вирішила вилізти через вікно, коли був сніг, в одній піжамі🗿 нє, може вона хотіла померти від обмороження, чи втратити якусь кінцівку🤷🏻‍♀️

Епілог дуже милий, там зібрались вся родина та їхні діти, але хотілось більше.

Grumpy/sunshine perfection between a Mafia boss and a politician's kidnapped daughter. Santo kidnaps Erin in a plot to take down her father. What he doesn't expect is the sensation in his chest when he is around her. Erin doesn't like her father any more than Santo and the two of them find they have a lot in common...in and out of the bedroom.

Will Santo win Erin's heart? Will Erin find the life and freedom she's always dreamed of? I really enjoyed Santo and his grumpy butt and I liked Erin and her down-to-earth personality. Steamy, a little angsty, and overall a good read.

I just knew I would love this one 😌💅.

I will never say no to a gumpxsunshine novella- the way that he only had a soft spot for her, and didn't know what he was feeling was just so cute (I don't care how many times I read stuff like this, I will never not eat it up).

I did wish that there was more to the story/ that it was longer, as similarly to the previous books in the series, it was a bit vague/ rushed at times. There could've been so many good scenes about Santo addressing Erin's family dynamic, and a lot of cute comfort scenes because of that- so I definitely think in that regard there was a lot of wasted potential, but I still really enjoyed it.

I feel so sad because I've been waiting for this novella for a while now (Santo was the sweetest, and I knew I would love him since day one 🥹)- but I'm just glad to have finally read it. This definitely had to be my favorite one in the series (there's just something about men in suits 💳💥💳💥💳).

Of course "hard" kingpin Santo was a real big softie for his insta-love interest, Erin, the daughter of his enemy who he kidnapped for the overarching mafia plot. We knew he was soft for his loved ones already, and just bluster in the previous books, but he really melted here for Erin, acting in ways unknown for him and feeling foreign feelings he couldn't describe.

It was as fast-paced and relaxing to read as the others, though I kind of wish there had been more interactions with some of the previous characters in this last one. Same level of mostly sugar, some heat as the others as well. All in all, a frothy, sugary sweet "mafia" series set at holiday time. There is nothing really dark in this series at all, so if you like mafia romance for that, don't come here.

Final instalment in the series and while I wished for a bit more (it feels like another chapter in the middle wouldn’t have hurt), this was just as fun and entertaining as the others and I’m a sucker for a cheesy Christmas epilogue set in the future :)

There's four books in this mini-series but I jumped straight to book 4 because it sounded the most fun, and after reading it I’d definitely go back to read the others. It was fast and festive featuring matching Christmas jumpers.

This one follows Santo, a mafia boss with a vendetta against the local Governor. His plan? Kidnap the Governor’s daughter, Erin, and make him pay. But from the moment he takes her, he starts to fall in love. And it only take them three days to confess their feelings and get their HEA.

Cassie Mint is the queen of short, spicy insta-love. And this 74-page mafia Christmas story delivers exactly what it promises. It’s sweet, spicy, and completely unrealistic. But that’s the charm.

Poor Rudolph!

Loved it! Definitely my favourite of the series. We've been getting these glimpses of Santos throughout the series so it was great getting his book. Erin was so feisty and knew what she wanted. We love a confident heroine! Watching Santos struggle with feeling and Erin struggle with what she really wanted was so compelling. The epilogue was also greatly appreciated. You need to read this series!

I'm not the type of person who reads short stories, I've read a few but I always ask for more, in the sense that I like the plot so much that I hope the writer makes a book of 250 pages with the same plot.
I think that's why I like Cassie Mint so much. It gives me just enough story and plot. For me it is books that I don't have to think about so much and I enjoy them a thousand times. That's why this is actually one of the books that I always return to when I have a reading block or even when the book I'm reading feels heavy or I just want to enjoy a good time.

Give me all the grumpy x sunshine novellas and set them during Christmas and I will be set for life! (Bonus points if the MMC is a mafia boss/don).

This is the final book in the Very Merry Mob series and boy did this series go out with a bang (in both the metaphorical and literal senses). We finally get to see Santo experience the feelings all of his friends/henchmen are feel with the women they love while still attempting to keep his mob boss exterior.

We pick up right where Holly and the Henchman left off, with Santo having kidnapped Erin, the governor's daughter who he has kidnapped to make her father submit to his demands and/or ruin him. What Santo does not expect at all is Erin, who has been less than thrilled with her father for quite some time now and wants nothing more than to start her own life as a free woman.

This book also still has the spice that all of the previous stories did but it is certainly spaced out more than the other ones and starts much earlier in the book than previous stories. The chemistry between these two characters is evident from the beginning and the fire never dies between them. I also really loved how human Santo was in this story- he may be a big tough mob boss but he feels just like the everyone else, even if he doesn't understand that sometimes the pains he is feeling are emotions and not health related. It was nice that this series ended with him because you got to see his growth from cold and standoffish to loving and a much more jovial person all around.

The story in this book flows really well with the rest of the books so this is certainly not a story that you should read as a standalone but all are certainly stories that you can easily get through in a day (I think each one took me an hour-ish to read start to finish). I am so sad to see this series end, but so excited that I found another author to read and can't wait to continue sucking up her works.

After reading the previous books in this series I wasn't sure what to expect but I was very happily surprised because after getting a glimpse of the main male character in the previous stories I couldn't wait to see what would happen to him and make him finally find his one. Then after the little tease near the end of the previous book I couldn't wait to dig into this one and see where that bit of storyline would fit in and work out, and also where the woman would fit in and i was happy to find that she was the main female character opposite his in the story. I happily devoured this book and I loved that you finally got to see the real 'kingpin' and see everything from his point of view, especially after everyone being to wary of him and looking up to him. Also I really enjoyed how the male and female were essentially thrust together and how their relationship started to change even despite their meeting and the reason why he came into her life! The author really aced this book and the main characters were so well matched eventhough they came from 'different' backgrounds. Their relationship and romance stayed the main focus of the book which I love in a romance as I think the storyline and drama shouldn't overshadow the connection and chemistry that the main characters have. I think out of all of them this one may have been my favourite and i can see why the author waited to give us this story BUT I still loved the previous 3 books, and I will happily read them ALL again as I loved all the characters!!.

The final book in a fantastic Christmas themed mob series. This one focused on the kingpin that is the leader of them all. Santo is the series and stoic kingpin of the De Rossi mob. His men have all been falling in love this Christmas season but Santo is still focused on taking down a threat to his family and empire. That leads to the kidnapping of Erin, the daughter of his enemy. Erin is a feisty thing who’s willing to give Santo a fight, if only his presence didn’t bring her such calmness.

I loved the descriptions of Santo having feelings and emotions. Like he has no idea where they came from or what they are. Of course he’s only ever has feelings for his sister and what he feels for Erin is completely different. Their first kiss is extremely HOT!!! Probably the hottest kiss I’ve ever read. Makes Santo want to convince Erin to stay with him and makes the reader want him to succeed. I loved this book as well as the entire Very Merry series. I would recommend reading all of them. It’s a perfect blend of Christmas, mafia, and scorching steam.

Desde o primeiro livro da série eu estava na expectativa desse último aqui, contando a história do chefão Santo. Eu me perguntava quem seria a mocinha dele. E não poderia ter sido ninguém melhor do que Erin, a filha de seu arqui-inimigo. Acrescente um sequestro por vingança, um político corrupto e um plano inusitado para colocar um ponto final em todos os problemas que nossos mafiosos vinham enfrentando ao longo da série e o que temos é uma história que, enfim, valeu a pena acompanhar! Desde o primeiro livro não tínhamos um casal com tanta química, ou que combinasse tão bem. Santo sempre passou aquela imagem de implacável e durão (e ele era mesmo, inclusive com sua irmã e amigos mais chegados), mas quem prestou atenção em cada um dos livros anteriores pôde perceber que havia um coração naquele peito gelado. E Erin foi a responsável por revelar esse lado que todos desconheciam. Foi bom demais acompanhar cada momento desse casal. E, no final, poder ver todos dos casais no futuro, cada um com sua família, mas ainda juntos formando uma grande família, foi o fechamento perfeito para a série. Eu amei demais esse livro. Super recomendo!

This was pretty funny.
I think it was hilarious that Santo has supressed his emotions so much due to his position in the family that he no longer can tell when he's feeling them.
Kidnapping his enemies daughter was suppose to be an easy way to bring down Governor Edwards. But things haven't been as easy as Santo assumed. From the minute he placed Erin in the trunk of his car his whole attitude toward her changed. He's no longer the emotionless kingpin, but acting like a mother hen.
Throughout the time that Erin is in his care, Santo finds himself relaxing, smiling, and sleeping. Things he hasn't done in years. But she's determined to leave and escape to Australia and start over. Can Santo convince her to stay? Would she even want to be held down by the life Santo offers?.

I was worried the last book of 2022 was going to be a stinker, but I was pleasantly surprised. Santos is a main character through the whole series and it was great to see him get his own story. The plot was solid here and all the major plot lines were wrapped up. The chemistry was well done, but it was lacking in true compatibility - as readers, we’re not sure why Erin is a good match for Santos. We don’t learn a lot about her interests or motivations (other than to get away from her neglectful father)….and adding that in would have helped elevate the story.

I really appreciated the fact that the power imbalance was addressed as well; it didn’t have to be there, and I appreciated it all the more.

I’m glad the series ended on a positive book and that there was a good level of festive spirit here!

I absolutely loved Kingpin All The Way: Book 4 of The Very Merry Mob. Sanyo is the ultimate grumpy monster and he kidnapped Erin to get back at his rival except now he wants to keep her forever and she’s trying to escape to Australia. He had limited time to convince her to stay. Does she even want to stay? Santo has finally met his match with Erin. Erin wants Santo but what if it’s just convenient for him to be with her? She wants the world and can a relationship started with a kidnapping work? I loved this storyline and characters. This series was awesome and I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series. There’s a great bonus book as well.

Kingpin All the Way is Santos and Erin's journey through danger, deceit, and family that will have you lost in the pages.

While in the governor's home, Santos's had an several plans, and one was to make sure he had a security option to help stop the trouble against the family. The plan was to take Erin and hold her so her father would call off the hits. But what they both realized that Erin was meaning more to Santos than her dad.

Hot, fast and steamy, this story is the perfect wrap up to the series.

Bloody heck I knew when Santo fell it would be epic. And holy heck did he fall for his captive🥰🥰 Santo kidnapped Erin as leverage against her father,but since day one he felt queasy and kind of funny around Erin. Erin fell head over heels in love with her captor and she made the big, cold, unattainable loveable and brought him to his knees😍😍 Instalove, sweet, steamy, romantic, so fun to read and safe with an awesome HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍 kind of sad that this series ends ,but I hope we will get more obssessed mobsters 😍😍

Love this book so much. But was kinda hoping to see Santo being more open to his friends since it was established in previous books that he became distant from them once he became the kingpin. Sadly we don't see that in action and it only focuses on his relationship with Erin which was stinking cute.

Didn't like how he didn't know Holly's name tho, so actually he didn't improve much in that aspect other than him being head over heels over Erin. Which is expected since the book is only 90pages less.

Weakness for these men who do everything wrong but always in a perfect way, powerful men who fall under the influence of a smile or a patch of drool in Egyptian cotton pillow cases....
Erin is a woman with a very strong personality, even though she doesn't seem like it, Santo is the weak one. Funny, the pages fly by, sweet, sexy and with a dose of tender weakness in the male characters that makes you fall in love.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I have enjoyed these mafia, holiday love stories. Santo and Erin's story wraps up The Very Merry Mob series nicely. It is a fast paced, obsessive, sweet and a fall hard and fast kind of romance. These two have a lot going against them, but that doesn't mean they can deny their connection. I liked both characters and the storyline. There's plenty of conflict and passion. Of course, I wish there was more of their story. It was nice to catch up with the other couples in the Di Rossi household

This is the 4th book in the series.

This book follows on from the last book, where Santos has kidnapped Erin, his enemies daughter and is using her as leverage to ruin him.
But Santos doesn't realise that Erin may be his own undoing as the more time he spends with her, the less he is able to resist what he feels for her. Could the grumpy mob boss have finally found his one weakness.

I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend reading this and the rest of the series.

Santo kidnaps Erin who is Governor Edwards daughter in an effort to get him to call off the hits. This has no effect and Santo starts to warm to Erin. When Santo goes after the Governor’s investments and personal dealings then things start to change. Erin is willing to help after the horrible life she had with her uncaring Dad. Slowly the relationship gets closer between Erin and Santo and the heat and romance is off the charts. I loved it.
