Actually was a little spooky at times, but good for the at least strong eight and up, though I would be more 10 to (young) 13. If you know the game it is based on, that might help (Roblox), but not really necessary. The characters are a bit stereotypical, but still relatable and if there are further stories, could be fleshed out more/focus on other characters but Willow and Cami. It is a horror story, so sensitive readers might be turned off, but overall well handled. As my copy was a reader copy, images were not complete, but they look like they will fit the story well and move things along.

It’s great! I love the drawings and the characters. I tried Graphic novel again because I was reading chapter a lot, I love it! I would keep going with chapter books though.

I got this at my school's book fair because I remember playing Piggy on Roblox with my friends during the pandemic, so I hoped it would bring back some nostalgia. Nope. It was just boring (which makes sense, this book is obviously not made for older teens). If you're in the right age group, I'd say 8-12, this could be a fun read.

My niece's review: The book doesn't make sense compared to the Roblox game. Pandy and Katie are infected in the real game. Piggy isn't the leader of the infected, TIO is. Also, Willow is infected in the Factory map. Also, she does help you on Ship map, but factory comes after Ship map. Piggy isn't even part of the insolence, making her not the leader. Also, she doesn't have the insolence eye, like TIO. Overall, the book is pretty good, even though it breaks away from the Roblox game lore. However, it does add lore to the infected, describing them as "raving mad," where the game doesn't.

Read with Vinny (Kindergarten & 6 years old).
A better age group would be for kids getting ready for middle school like 5th grade, but he loves Piggy. The book had survival tips for middle school, which I had to explain to him what the book meant by that. The store was funny and a little creepy, which is right up our alley.

My reluctant reader daughter desperately wanted this graphic novel, so we picked it up at the Scholastic Book Fair. It was a really great, exciting, and creepy-cute read, and I loved the real emergency preparedness tips sprinkled throughout!
