A 1st grader at church was reading this book which got me interested in reading it. It is a book in a series about Geronimo Stilton (a mouse) who has to rescue a princess and save some books. There are a lot of pictures in the book and it is clearly targeted to early readers.

This was my favourite book series. Well’s, used to be. But now there are 2 things I need to share. Number one: They do not feature Queen Blossom anymore. And I’m sorry but: Number two: I don’t want a new batch of characters.

I loved the book's involvement, having me search for clues and solving puzzles. If I were 10 years younger I'd devour these books in one sitting like I used to.

if your kid is looking for a solid fantasy book with witches, wizards, fairies, ogres, things that fly, and of course a fraidy mouse named Geronimo, this is the series. The small illustrations throughout the pages will keep readers engaged and slowly transition them to start reading chapterbooks.
