Ainsley is hired to help solve a cold case after her client buys the contents of a storage garage during the annual auction and finds a hidden clue to a long cold mystery.
Kathi lives with her husband, kids, grandkids, and dogs in beautiful Lake Tahoe. When she isn't writing, Kathi likes to read (preferably at the beach or by the fire), cook (preferably something with chocolate or cheese,) and garden (planting and planning not weeding). She also enjoys spending time on the water when she's not hiking, biking, or snowshoeing, the miles of desolate trails surrounding her home. Kathi uses the mountain setting in which she lives, along with the animals (wild and domestic) that share her home, as inspiration for her cozy mysteries.

Time Will Tell is the twelfth book in Kathi Daley’s Cottage on Gooseberry Bay series. This is an entertaining and clean series with a strong emphasis on family, friends, community, and caring. The setting is charming, and the three-dimensional characters are well-developed. Ms. Daley’s descriptive writing draws the reader in, making them feel like they’re participating in all the heartbreak, joys, and investigations. The intriguing mysteries, twists, and red herrings will keep readers engaged and guessing. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading well-crafted cozies.
After Ainsley Holloway’s adoptive father passed away, she found a photograph of a woman with two young children. For reasons Ainsley couldn’t explain, she felt connected to the people in the photograph and started doubting her past. In her search for the truth about her past, Ainsley and her two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Kai and Kallie, moved from Georgia to Washington State and rented a cozy cottage in Gooseberry Bay. Ainsley, who originally planned to stay for only a month or two, quickly made friends, settled into the community, and opened Ainsley Holloway Investigations.
In this installment, Ainsley has two new cases. She reluctantly accepts an assignment from Irene Dunlap, a woman she helped in the past, who believes she’s being stalked. A second case is brought to her by Braxton Hillsdale, a new client who successfully bid on the contents of a storage garage at an auction. When he begins to inventory his purchases, Braxon finds an item he believes might be related to the disappearance of high school student Pamela Cartwright seven years ago.
Ainsley Holloway came to Gooseberry Bay searching for answers about her past. She stayed because she found "home" and some great friends who are family. Ainsley opened a PI office and stays busy. In this book she's hired to look into a cold case when a piece of evidence is found in a box that was in an abandoned storage unit her client bought.
I've loved this series from the start and this book's a prime example of why. It's well-written with well-rounded characters and a well-developed, fast-paced plot. I was drawn in and kept hooked from beginning to end. The story's fascinating with an intriguing mystery that will keep you on your toes. I'm really looking forward to the next book. I highly recommend both book and series which I suggest you read in order for the most benefit and enjoyment.
When a man hires Ainsley to find the owner of a dress in an abandoned storage locker, she traces it to a 17 year old young woman who was wearing it the morning she disappeared. The case has many suspects and twists as the team follows up on clues Detective Todd ignored.
There are many new people showing up in this series, Adam's school is within a year of opening, the Geek Squad is home after their first year in college, and break-ups and new relationships abound. Also some more missing people cases in the future.
I enjoyed this installment of the Gooseberry Bay series. I especially liked the convoluted steps necessary to find the solution. Great mystery solved and also several set up for future books.
Ainsley Holloway moved to Gooseberry Bay hoping to find her missing sister and answers to her past. What she found was much more. Setting up a PI office, Ainsley keeps busy. A man who bought an abandoned storage unit comes in with what he thinks is a clue to the cold case of a missing teenage girl who vanished several years ago. Ainsley and her friends dig in to find the answers, hoping it doesn't have a tragic ending.
I just love Gooseberry Bay and the mysteries that Ainsley is asked to solve. The discovery of a distinctive dress, causes Ainsley to investigate the cold case into the disappearance of a teenaged girl. Ainsley and the gang look into how Pamela completely vanished one day after getting her younger brothers off to school. I like that these stories don’t involve a lot of blood and gore. If you enjoy a light cozy mystery, you must try this series!
An wonderful continuation of this series and reconnecting with the gang at Gooseberry Bay. Ainsley has s couple of investigations which may end up in s negative way. She is also trying to help Phoenix, the only girl in the Geek Squad, come to terms with her expectations this summer, with her mom and her friends. Love this series in so many ways.
Another great addition to the Cottage on Gooseberry Bay mystery series. I love this group of friends, heads up by Ainsley, the private investigator. This mysteries included in the book were interesting, especially the intriguing main mystery, and of course the nuggets dropped about a future mystery draws me right into the next book. A great read!

Enjoyed spending time with Ainsley and her friends. The mystery was interesting and kept me guessing. The author did a great job with the addition of red herrings. Definitely a solid addition to the series.
I have read this series from the beginning and have enjoyed each one. I love the fact that there is a main story but we get to hear her solve other small cases. I enjoy finding new things about the regular cast of characters too. Glad when each h new book comes out.
A very clever mystery regarding the disappearance of a young girl from Gooseberry Bay years earlier. Lots of twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. One of my favorite Kathie Daley books to date.
Anisley and the gang are looking into the disappearance of a 17 year old from Gooseberry Bay 7 years ago. Did she run away, was she kidnapped, is she alive or is she dead. I found out, you can to by reading the book.
Kathi Daley keeps the reader up to date on all.the characters in each book. I look forward to meeting them all in each book. She never disappoints. Each book is a joy to read
That’s what Ainsley and her friends are trying to figure out after a dress turns up that heats up a cold case and apparently memories of several locals. The love life of a few of the friends may also be heating up.
I eagerly anticipated reading this next book in the Gooseberry Bay series and was not disappointed. I felt like I was catching up with friends, and now it is time to wait for the next release.
Love this series and this author. Great characters and good clean mystery. I highly recommend anything by this author. Her stories are always enjoyable. They are also quick reads.
A well-written book that keeps the reader’s imagination engaged. The ending was a surprise, but the author also resolved several other questions that were hanging without answers.
This story was okay. Got a little bogged down during the gangs brainstorming they do. I'll read more when they go on sale. I hate to pay full price for these short books.
This one really kept your mind a going. Things would change just enough where you started Going in one direction and some words would change then you drop back and punt to go in another direction.
This was not a fun time for the mystery solving group. So much more going on to make sense of the many things happening. It was an interesting time watching them all look at different parts of the story and put it together to find the missing.
Loved this book (12) as I have the other 11 in the series. This one in particular held my attention and I could have read it in one sitting if I didn't have anything else going on.
