Mine is my hot next-door neighbor who just moved into the building.
He’s a bachelor. And while he’s gorgeous and easy on the eyes, his mouth needs to be zipped shut.
It’s my fault. He asked me out, and I said yes, not knowing that he was an arrogant jerk.
I’d love to say that I’d never see him again, it gets worse…
He’s also my new boss, and I’m his assistant. He overhears me mocking his 'junk' to my colleague, and I swear I didn't intend to show my face at the office ever again.
Because Mr. Grump is the ultimate bosshole.
Arrogant.
Demanding.
Manipulative.
I swear he planned it, showing up at the bar, knocking me off my game. And then the bet…there's no going back.
Imagine my surprise when I find out he has a son.
Mr. Grump is a single father. Boy, do I feel bad for the kid.
This steamy romantic comedy is an enemies to lovers romance. It is a standalone, with no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a happily ever after ending.
Willow has loved writing since she was in high school (many ages ago). Whether she’s writing romance or sitting outside by the bonfire reading a good book, Willow loves the magic of the written word.

Weston & Elise's first date was hot! And not the hot you are thinking ~ her hair caught on fire, which ends the already disastrous date.
Her hopes to never see him again are short lived when she learns he is her new boss.
They were both frustrating characters for most of the book, which is expected with enemies to lovers. Elise more so than Weston. I loved how Weston took care of Tyler. He has a sad story, but was perfectly written for the age of 3 with temper tantrums and all. Weston said some things towards the end that I woulda hauled off and cracked him for. All in all, another alright addition to the series.
*Thanks to Willow Fox and Booksprout for the ARC. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review*
Series notes: Yes a standalone, but characters from Billionaire Grump and Mountain Grump make an appearance and we see how they progressed.
Narration notes: I did not listen to this one, but am just giving the info above for reference.
Okay... this is dumb. Did they not have an editor or make notes of their own book? First Logan tell's Wes to go after Elisa and make things right with her. Then in the next moment, Levi tells Wes to sit down and wait until the next day to see Elisa and make things right.
Also, how do you have people in the wedding who have never met each other to practice, and a three-year-old as a ring barer who doesn't know what to do?
Bachelor Grump had its fair share of cute and funny moments that made me smile, especially in the beginning. There was definitely potential in the setup and dynamic between the characters. However, the main issue for me was the male main character. He came off as overly bossy and controlling, and it felt like the female lead just went along with it without pushing back much. That dynamic really started to wear on me as the story went on. Additionally, some of the later sexual content and dialogue made me uncomfortable it just wasn’t to my taste and took away from my enjoyment of the book. Overall, while there were moments I liked, the relationship dynamics and tone just didn’t work for me.
This book wasn’t good. I was really disappointed. The other book were way better. This book was super super rush and so many loose ends. Like she thought he was staring at the blonde checking her out when actually that was an ex but he never explains. He doesn’t explain any of his behavior on their first date. The middle of the story wasn’t good but it wasn’t bad. I expected it to end strong and while in general it was a good ending I hated it. I hated it because it was so rushed and almost forced. Like they just got together and boom pregnant and then boom engaged. Like the baby was so unnecessary and didn’t fit at all. Especially the dude was so mean about it. Also the son actually being his nephew is kind of werid. Like i understand why but also that is going to be kind of confusing one day. But again understandable but he’s so werid about it. Overall this book was just disappointing like I don’t get why it was rushed. The ending has potential hell the whole book did but it was lackluster and then rushed. I don’t understand the pregnancy in there. It’s lowkey annoying especially when it seems to be a trope/plot line in the other books too. Like why do they have to be the same. Also there weren’t together and boom in love. No build up to it just straight all of a sudden in lvoe. Very disappointing. 2/5
While I liked Weston, I so could have done without Elisa. She was the most obnoxious, annoying and immature female character that would drive even the sanest person to drink. She also needs to learn basic business etiquette as I would have fired her.
I liked it, not anything groundbreaking but it’s a light and silly read. Some parts of the plot were a little choppy and didn’t flow in a way I think it should have but overall it was good.
After reading a few of the other reviews of this book, I'm happy to know that I was not alone in my thinking that this book was simply terrible. And what's frustrating is that it has the makings of a good book, but it just falls so flat and you're left wondering if the pair should even be together.
First of all, "Mr.Grump" is more than just a grumpy guy. He's actually just the worst. On their first date, he ignores her, acts cocky/ arrogant/ disinterested, brings nothing to the table and then is confused why she leaves. BOOOOOOO! BOOOOOO to you Mr. Grump. You suck from the start. Then you think okay maybe he was just having a bad night or was nervous or is puts on a front because he's used to women taking advantage of his status. Okay, have a do-over. But no. In their second meeting, he is once again presumptuous, RUDE, and misogynistic. BOOOOOOO! BOOOOOO you again Mr. Grump. But then you think, okay maybe he was just hurt from her leaving him alone on the date. But no. (The rest of the book) He kisses another woman, sleeps w/ the FMC then belittles & ignores her, AND creates a fake dating profile to manipulate the FMC. \"OH BROTHER, THIS GUY STINKS!" BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I actually quite liked the FMC although it's been 15 minutes since finishing the book, and I've already forgotten her name. I wish she would've had a backbone when it mattered. And it was so annoying how she would faux quit just to get a rise out of him. Also, annoying that she would complain that they couldn't work and date together as though they were the first people to have ever done it and he wasn't the OWNER OF THE FREAKING COMPANY. I'm supposed to believe that this woman is highly intelligent? Okay, maybe I don't actually like her.
Tyler was cute and one of the only redeeming qualities of this book.

Phenomenal! Just finished Bachelor Grump, the 3rd book in the Bossy Single Dads series, and I’m loving this series! I definitely don’t have a favorite, each book has been fantastic and very enjoyable to read. I hated when I finished them! Weston has raising his little boy on his own for 3 years now, and doing a wonderful job. He’s made it clear he has no time or place for a relationship and definitely doesn’t want kids. He’s even taken the steps to ensure he doesn’t get anyone pregnant. But when he takes his neighbor, Elisa, out on a date- for a quick hookup, the date is disastrous. Neither have any idea that he’s also her new boss come Monday! These two are like dynamite, they have a love hate relationship and can’t stay away from each other. I truly loved this book, everything about it was phenomenal and I was grabbed immediately. From Weston and his adorable little boy, Tyler, to how easily and quickly Elisa took to him. And Tyler loved her! I really hate to see this series end, I’ve enjoyed it so much!
The books start off so good. The further you get into the book, the more rushed it feels. I like the premise of it, but it often feels like a drag to get to the bits that are interesting. And to be honest, the romance in this one was quite boring. I do like how there was some push and pull and she didn't just leap into bed on the first date, But the intrigue between the two mains didn't feel very natural at all.
I did enjoy the parts where he'd feel insecure enough to do things like catfish her and it was a bit exciting when he was found out but the intrigue disappeared just as fast as it appeared. I also enjoyed the little book Easter eggs throughout the books, but some moments felt a bit forced. But I did enjoy hearing updates about previous characters in the other books.
There were a lot of great story ideas but there was very little build up with things, that there was no rewarding feeling when things were resolved. I enjoyed the characters better than the last book but the book feels unfinished for some reason. 8/10

This was so good! I really didn't like Weston at first. He was kind of a douche on their date, then goes and blames it all on her. Yeah, ok. But, he slowly warms up as his heart starts to defrost. Elisa is good for him. He's so serious and overprotective of his son. She balances their lives out really well. There's technically no cheating, but he does kiss another woman right in front of her. Granted that was her own doing, but I still didn't like it. It was nice of the authors to shed light on this horrible disease. They wrote it very well. I absolutely loved the ending this amazing couple got.

Elise and Weston have a bad date and think that they'll never have to see each other again. However, that's not the case because Elise learns that he is her new boss. Weston is a single father and has no interest in relationships only hook ups. He is stunned when he sees that Elise is his employee but tries to move on. Sparks fly between them and its not long before they are together again. Will this lead to something more? Or will it be too complicated?
This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This is not my favorite of Willow Fox’s Bossy Single Dad series. I loved Billionaire Grump & Mountain Grump & was happy to see the main characters in this story. I just didn’t love main characters in Bachelor Grump. They both were stubborn & weak at the same time. I just didn’t really feel their chemistry like is did with the other couples. Everything seemed rushed & some of it seemed far-fetched. I did like the story line & that we got a HEA. Tyler is adorable. I always love the Boss-Employee trope. I would read additional stories if written, as I do like this author & group of friends she’s created.

Elisa went on a awful date with her new neighbour, her hair caught on fire so she left the date. She then went to work and found out he is her boss. They bicker loss and she quits. She gets her job back that night when he comes into the pub and makes a bet if he gets a girl to kiss him she owes him a date and she returns to work. He is a dad but it’s his nephew and his sister died in childbirth. His son has a condition where if he falls it could be fatale. He makes a fake date profile to speak to her using his friend photo then when they are all at the strip bar Elisa says he is cheating on his girlfriend that’s when she realises it’s been Weston all along. They make up and she ends up pregnant even tho he had a vasectomy. They give birth to a baby boy and he proposes and she says yes

hands down the worst book in the series 💀 first off, he orders for her (food she can’t even eat), then is staring at his phone and another woman the whole time (sets her hair on fire too, that wasn’t rlly his fault but I’m blaming him anyways) then wants to get mad when she bails LIKE I WOULD BAIL TOO????? AND THEN catfishes her on a dating app using his friends pic and when she meets the friend (who has a daughter and a fiancée) she finds out it was him (the mmc) the whole time LIKEOEJROEJFOEJDOE
she annoyed me too cuz wdym you say we can’t do this cuz he’s your boss but yet you keep kissing and going back to him pls be serious.
the only good character was the son, tyler actually. good riddance 💀

Bachelor Grump: Billionaire Romance (Bossy Single Dad Book 3) by Allison West and Willow Fox. Talk about a disaster first date. I would have run too. And to make it worst you run into him again at work because now he’s your boss! Elisa sucks it up and does what she does best- keep on moving. I really enjoyed her character. Weston took me a minute to warm up to. He is genuine enough, but I just didn’t feel the connection I was hoping for. Overall I found this to be a good story with plenty of drama, chemistry, and enduring HEA. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Elisa goes out on a date with her grumpy neighbor Weston and let’s just say it was the worst date ever! Imagine her surprise when she finds out that he’s her new boss and that he had a little boy, poor child stuck with a grumpy father! Weston is a single father to a 3 year old boy and doesn’t want a relationship! He asks his beautiful neighbor Elisa out for a date slash hookup, only it’s a disaster! On the next Monday morning he is shocked to see she is his employee! Can they find their happily ever after? Another great book in the series!.

This series is great for lovers of romantic, contemporary and at time comedic books. The third series features Elisa and Weston, who start the book off with a hilariously bad date. Weston shows a few days later as Elisa’s boss and while she tries to keep it professional, he eggs her on until she gives him a mean right hook. Then quits. The rest of the book follows their story of ebbs and flows, with lots of great banter, spice and angst. It’s a quick read as well and while a standalone it helped to know the characters from the other two books. A fun, spicy and enjoyable read for all!.

I loved Bachelor Grump by Willow Fox and Allison West. Once I started reading Elisa and Weston's story, I was hooked. As much as I was rooting for them there were times I wanted to punch Weston like Elise did. One moment she wanted to slap him and the next she couldn't not kiss him. And it was impossible not to fall hard for his little boy Tyler. The chemistry between Elise and Weston was off the charts hot and it all began the thanks to one bad date that led to Elise's hair catching on fire from a flaming Dr Pepper! Definitely recommend this entire series.
I absolutely enjoyed Elisa, she wouldn’t let anyone push her around. Weston had a way with getting his way, when he wasn’t causing trouble. I loved how their friends had a way with bringing his mistakes to his attention and calling him on them. I loved how his employees had Elisa’s back through all the disasters. I loved how this story unfolds and all the challenges and obstacles Elisa has to overcome. So many surprises and twists you won’t want to put this book down.

This was such a fantastic story to read. It takes you through the ups and downs of Elisa, Weston and his son Tyler. I couldn't stop reading until the very end. Weston and Elisa end up going on a date that is a complete disaster. Then to top it off Weston was Elisa's grumpy boss. This is a story of enemies to lovers. The story was pretty steamy and I laughed at some of the senese in the story. I highly recommend it.

I've read several books written by Willow Fox; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is part of the Bossy Single Dad Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Elise & Weston; he just moved next door to her. He asks her out on a date and she agrees but after spending time with him knows he’s a total jerk but it turns out he’s also her new boss and overhears her talking about him to a coworker.

Cute but easy to forget about it. To be honest I loved all these books in this series but they aren’t definitely my favorite where I know in the near future I read these again I honestly don’t think I will but I still do love this but didn’t give me that feeling of omg I love it instantaneously. Those books for me are hard to find but anyway I definitely recommend reading these they are different and do keep your attention just do t put it down or you might forgot about it but other then that definitely worth the read.
