Something awful is going to happen to Laila's husband, and she has no idea how to stop it.
Ever since they covered up those murders, ever since the sheriff walked into Laila's café, there has been a pit inside of her stomach. Visions of Jeremy's death are invading her dreams, overtaking her life. He's immortal though, how could he die?
She doesn't understand, but apparently, she has a new ability of prophecy.
But how is she supposed to prevent whatever's coming when the visions won't show her the full picture?
Oh my Lux!!!! Love love loved this instalment of the series!! Loved it!!! This is book 4 in the Arcane Gods part of the Eluding Destiny series and please read from the beginning as you will love this massive amazing family as much as I do!! I loved the character growth with Melissa and the amazing person she turned into spending time with the family. That ending though! I can’t wait to see where that goes! Laila is heavenly pregnant with the twins throughout the book and when she is giving birth to the first the exact same feeling happened to my with my second birth. A tough pregnancy mentally and when the baby is born the rush of euphoria she has is exactly what I experienced! Amazing to read exactly what that is. Beautiful scene for me personally. Jeremy goes through it too and for a large part something happens that causes him to forget his life as Jeremy and is Nix so loads happens here. Hya is a great addition to the family and love seeing him fit in with the gang like he has always been there. I dont want to talk about too much as it will give the game away but you need to read trust me!! Each of the Arcane gods books ends in such a good place you literally can’t wait the next. This get more than top marks for me. There honestly isn’t a book I wouldn’t read if Charlie Nottingham wrote it. She is one of my all time favourite authors of all time!! 5/5 amazing stars!!!
This was so good and so frustrating at the same time. I felt like I had lost a friend and was desperate to get them back, but I was also learning so much about who they were. Jeremy and Laila embody the strength and compassion that we all wish we had, and they share a love that is worth everything. I can't wait to see what is in store for them as we continue on the journey. Side note: Why am I starting to not hate Lux?
Again you have taken my breath away and left me wanting more! I can not wait to read the next one. You’re an amazing author and I truly appreciate your way of thinking and creating.
This series is my life now. I love every second of it ! It has everything: Fantasy, unbelievably good world building, Characters that now feel like friends, romance and just enough spice! This series is my new recommendation to all my friends... and anyone reading this!
You can tell the writer is maturing the repetition of facts is still a little annoying but not as bad from the previous books. There's still editing errors throughout but it's a good story line. You'll want to continue into the next series.
The pace was a liiiiiitle slow but I think it was worth it. I really enjoyed seeing the different perspectives of the characters as they developed into who they are going to be and I cannot wait to dive into the rest of the story.
AMAZING. At this point these characters feel like old friends. This one was both a little traumatic and also so very heartfelt. This series has become one of my favorites the last few months and I just want to read it again and again.
This entire book series is phenomenal. In a little over a week I read 1-14 and they are amazing. So well written and descriptive you feel like you know the characters. Truly and emotional read. What great storytelling
This series was wonderful. Easily drawing me in to each separate book. Challenging to not be tense and sad sometimes but always bringing in joy and happiness too.
