An omega who is desperate to reclaim his life teams up with an alpha with nothing left to lose…
Mads
The only thing worse than being the son of The RV King of Barrington is having my father hire an ESA for my heats because he doesn’t trust any alphas around me. I’m so tired of having my life controlled just because I messed up my college experience by trusting the wrong people.
But I liked Benny from the moment I met him, even though he’s not my usual ESA, and he just might be my ticket out of the mess my life has become…whether he knows it or not.
Benny
I haven’t been an ESA for years, but I took this call as a favor for a friend…and because I need the money after inheriting my family’s run-down ski lodge and the problems that come with it. It was supposed to be easy, but when I end up with a runaway omega in heat, it’s all I can do to take care of Mads…as he wins me over to his plans to start a new life.
Mads could be the key to keeping the lodge and turning it around…if I can keep his father from catching up with us and taking him back.
Omega on the Run is a stand-alone in the Bangers & Mash series, and contains a smol omega and a BIG alpha, tricked-out van that is way too compact for that, noises in the attic, the past coming back to haunt them, and a surprising chance to prove that love conquers all!
However, PLEASE NOTE – No omegas are impregnated in the course of this story, although it does happen in this universe, and there is no shifting in this world.
The formula for this series is pretty much identical in each of its installments. I still found it a nice and light read for in between heavier plot-dense ones.
Omegaverse is my go-to genre if I need to shut my brain off, or reset after a heavy book or stressful week. And Omega On The Run did not disappoint.
This was filled with sweet moments, hot heat smut, and some low-angst drama. Entertaining and perfect for low energy needs.

Omega on The Run was a cute high steam omegaverse read!
We have Mads, a young omega who has been suffocating while being kept prisoner by his overprotective father due to an incident in college. He has dropped out, and ever since then, his father has controlled every aspect of his life, including who services him during his heats.
Benny, a former ESA, takes on a call as a favour for his friend. He is short on funds after inheriting his grandparents' rundown ski lodge. The payment from the ESA could go towards restoring the lodge while giving him time to think about what to do going forward.
I found this story to be an easy and cute read since it is not plot focused. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Mads and Benny. Benny was able to be both caring and protective of Mads while respecting him and his choices. Mads has not had positive experiences with Alphas, so seeing him warm up and come to trust Benny was sweet. Seeing Mads also become confident and stand his ground against his father was endearing.
The relationship between Mads and Benny moves very fast. So there is that insta love/fated mates aspect to the story. It takes less than a week for the "I love you" to start.
This story was HIGH on the spice! I enjoy a sexy, well-written heat scene and MM Farmer delivered. I can see the author who might have inspired them, and honestly, I welcome it. I like the unique aspects they added to it as well - spermicides being used to prevent pregnancy. I also liked the size difference between Benny and Mads.
I really enjoy Omegaverse stories that are high steam and have good portions of the story involving heat sex. There are only a few authors who check all the boxes for me when it comes to what I look for in a good omegaverse story/series.
While Omega on the Run is the 5th book in the Bangers & Mash series, it can be read as a standalone. Overall, it was a fun and sexy read. If you enjoy high steam/erotic omegaverse stories, I recommend it.
i’m going to be honest: these awful covers made me avoid this author for months.
but i actually liked it!!! i can see where the ✨inspiration✨ came from, but roe is literally writing a series with this author and if father doesn’t have a problem, i certainly don’t.
the only problem was a bit of repetitiveness and the abrupt ending. is it hard to write an epilogue?
Unfortunately I liked the idea of this one more than the execution of it mostly because I wasn't a fan of the particular kink type of language used.
That's a me thing though and not a criticism of the book itself. I really liked Madison, the young omega, and his need to try and take control of his own life.
Mads knows he messed up when he went to college, but he also resents that his dad hasn't left him forget it, or move on.
Benny, his alpha ESA, called in at the last minute after Teddy (from the last book) fell in love, was also nicely written.
He's considerate and puts Mads first, their bond is quick to appear but both are wary of strengthening it for valid reasons.
There's not a lot of angst in this one and the conflict with Mads' father was worked out satisfactorily for me.
As I said, it was just the type of heat sex that brought the rating down for me. Other readers will love it I'm sure.
I didn’t enjoy this one as much as most of the others in the series. It was a little choppy and not as seamless in its story. Conversations seemed to be left unfinished, emotions were sudden and quick changing. I also just found myself bored in the middle.
Omega on the Run is the fifth book in the ‘Bangers and Mash’ series. Madison ‘Mads’, is an omega, and Benny, is an Alpha and retired ESA. This is told in first person from Mads and Benny’s povs.
I’ve read all the books in the series up to this one, plus Book Eight. The world building is consistent. This story ties into the previous one because Benny comes out of retirement to do a favor for his friend, Teddy, who appeared in Book Four. The favor was to help Mads through his heat because Teddy was helping an emergency stranded omega, Dan, with his heat.
This was a fun, quick read. The blurb does a good job of explaining the plot so I won’t repeat it much. Mads’s father keeps Mads captive at home after a blackmail incident that happened to Mads in college. His father doesn’t trust Mads not to get into trouble, and wants to protect him from humiliation again, but also likely wants to protect his own wealth and reputation too. The father is an over-the-top Alpha, but in this world that is typical for Alphas. It’s unusual to find Alphas that believe omegas have a right to make their own decisions and direct their own lives. Benny happens to be one of them.
After Mads’s first round of heat, he kidnaps Benny in a van while Benny is sleeping. That’s pretty much all Mads has planned. He wants to escape his father and knew he needed the protection of an Alpha during his heat, so he convinces Benny to help him after Benny wakes up and they arrive at Benny’s ski lodge that he inherited from his grandfather. From there it’s about Mads and Benny developing their bond, going on another adventure, Mads meeting up with his past, and then moving on from it.
I like omega-verse stories where the omega is strong and independent even if they live in a world that doesn’t believe that omegas are capable enough to run their own lives. It mirrors a lot of different places in our own world. Benny was head-strong, intelligent, creative—he designed van interiors for his father’s company—and longed to live out from under his father’s thumb. Benny had retired when he got the call to take over for Teddy since Teddy was dealing with an emergency ESA call. Benny tended to be calm and rolled with the flow. Although the closer he grew to Mads, the more he wanted to protect and control Mads like his father did. Benny had to control his Alpha instincts.
Omega on the Run was a fun story. It was one of the better stories in the series, and I could believe in Mads and Benny as a couple. The ending wasn’t exactly complete in that the story only hinted at what would happen with the ski resort that gave an idea that there’s a HEA for Mads and Benny and the ski resort. I give this book, 4 Stars.
1st person, past tense, dual PoV Benjamin (Benny) Kincade (29), alpha (high-end polished wood paneling), retired ESA with Bangers & Mash, former middle management for an insurance company, recently inherited Kincade Slopes Madison (Mads) Linkletter (22), omega (blueberry pancakes), RV interior designer for Linkletter RVs
While part of a series each book stands alone really well with only minor character crossover. Teddy, the alpha of the previous book, Christmas Heat, finding his mate provides the catalyst in bringing Benny out of retirement to act as a last minute stand-in ESA for Mads, while one of the owners of B&M, Sal, also has a small scene in a conversation with Benny.
I really love an us-against-the-world sort of story, and I'm a sucker for a desperate-times-call-for-desperate-measures micro-trope, so I adored this one. I snorted with laughter when Mads for all intents and purposes kidnapped Benny during his heat call. I thought it was masterfully done, though one has to wonder if it's possible to kidnap the willing since Benny was more than happy to go wherever and do whatever Mads needed to feel safe and in control of his own destiny.
Mads was such a dynamo and I loved how he came into his own, though my heart hurt for how he made himself small for so long with his overbearing father, and I wish that had been hashed out a little better. Benny was so sweet and supportive of him so they made a great pair. I enjoyed the bonding aspect of this story and how it was explained as being something that needed to be accepted by the people involved, a little twist on the fated mates trope that worked really well with this story.
I really felt the chemistry and compatibility with this story, it was truly a case of being better together than apart so while the heat was incredibly steamy, the cute side quest of finding your place in the world was equally engaging to me and I just enjoyed the heck out of this ride.
My only quibble with it, and the rest of the series as a whole, is that I find the endings a little abrupt, I need a little more time with the characters once the tension or conflict has been resolved to feel the characters settle. I'm usually not one for epilogues, I can take them or leave them usually, but I'd really have liked to see a glimpse of these two living their dream with a fully booked lodge and little ones running around, even with Franklin Linkletter as a granddad, who's working on his slightly overprotective inclinations.
I can't remember if I found this book on a recommendation email from one of my favorite authors or on a recommendation post from one of my author fan pages on Facebook or on Facebook as an add. Either way, it grabbed my attention. Here's M.M. Farmer's Bangers & Mash series. The fifth novel is "Omega On The Run." ["An omega who is desperate to reclaim his life teams up with an alpha with nothing left to lose... Mads The only thing worse than being the son of The RV King of Barrington is having my father hire an ESA for my heats because he doesn’t trust any alphas around me. I’m so tired of having my life controlled just because I messed up my college experience by trusting the wrong people. But I liked Benny from the moment I met him, even though he’s not my usual ESA, and he just might be my ticket out of the mess my life has become…whether he knows it or not.
Benny I haven’t been an ESA for years, but I took this call as a favor for a friend…and because I need the money after inheriting my family’s run-down ski lodge and the problems that come with it. It was supposed to be easy, but when I end up with a runaway omega in heat, it’s all I can do to take care of Mads…as he wins me over to his plans to start a new life. Mads could be the key to keeping the lodge and turning it around…if I can keep his father from catching up with us and taking him back."] I just...this book was so much. But not in a bad way. There was so much angst and fluff and miscommunication and sweetness and steam and love and trust. So much trust. And a lot of not-trust. But it was about growth and learning oneself. Mads just wanted freedom, and Benny wanted an answer to his future (Benny gave Mads his freedom, and Mads gave Benny his future--I'm off to cry again).
I thought this was another great book from MM Farmer, another ESA alpha servicing an Omega in need.
Mads is trapped in his dad's house like a prisoner, ever since he had a mishap ay college his dad has kept him on a leash. He's not allowed to go out on his own, go to college again or pick his own alpha. Instead of him being in charge of his own life his dad is in charge of it for him. His dad hires an Alpha to take him through his heat, upon meeting Benny he quickly forms a plan to escape his dad's clutches... His plan may just include kidnapping an Alpha.
Benny is an alpha who was formerly an ESA, he retired after finding out his grandpa left him a ski lodge. A run down ski lodge, it's nothing like it once was, he needs money to fix it up. So when his friend calls offering him a job he immediately takes it.
When he meets Mads he knows he needs to help him, in more ways than just helping him through his heat. He wasn't expecting falling for the man in just a few days, but when you know you know, right?
I was pleasantly surprised by these characters, I gotta say that this story started off a bit slow, then sped up when Mads heat hit. Then it was mostly steamy scenes for a while. But! The reason I rated this a 4 star is cause I really liked the last half of the story. There was a lot of character building along with the relationship between Mads and Benny started to form. I also enjoyed Mads ideas on how to design and refurbish the ski lodge. And when Mads dad fell in the snow? I gotta say, I might've giggled a bit. It was karma coming after that man for him questioning fate. I really enjoyed the part detailing how Mads designed the van, that was really cool.
This was really well written and I recommend this to anyone who likes a feisty creative Omega and a caring Alpha.
*I received a early copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.*
Omega On the Run by MM Farmer was the reason I had a book hangover this morning. Benny and Mads had my heart from the start. MM mentioned them in the tease at the end of Christmas Heat, and they intrigued me.
Benny retired from Bangers and Mash to try and revive his family’s ski lodge, but Dan and Teddy bonded with each other in Christmas Heat which meant that Teddy’s booking with Mads was absolutely out of the question. Benny came out of retirement for one last call.
Mads is a young omega who made a few missteps in his first foray from home. Those missteps haunt him because his alpha father became ultra protective, almost to the point of home imprisonment. Benny has an almost innate ability to read Mads and understand what he needs. What he doesn’t realize is that Mads has other plans for this heat!
I fell in love with Benny and Mads from page one! I was captivated by their seemingly instantaneous connection. Benny understood that Mads’s dad was stifling his spirit. Two alphas facing each other down over the future of an omega is an intense read!
Reading about Benny and Mads’s connection with each other both physically and emotionally was incredible. MM has a way with character development. I was so easily able to picture their emotional journey in my mind’s eye. Yes, this book is VERY steamy, but what impressed me the most was how invested I felt in the outcome of their romantic adventure.
Every time I read the newest installment of Bangers and Mash I say it’s my favorite, and this is no different. I can’t wait to see what MM has in store for us in the next B&M book!.

This was quite an adventure, this "heat call". I enjoyed this book very much, as I have loved all books in this series. I loved the pairing of Benny and (tiny) omega Mads. I loved that Benny turned out to be just the alpha Mads needed to give him the space and respect he so craved. I felt that Big Daddy Linkletter got off far too lightly for the alphaholish way he treated Mads, but also glad he came to his senses in the end.
I felt, at times that this tale dragged on a bit too long for me, and due to the suspenseful nature of the story, this didn't quite have the fast-moving lightness of previous books. However, that is only my own personal feelings about the story, not a reflection of how good the book is. In all honesty, the book is as well written as all this author's work and I loved that in spite of the very nature of this action-adventure, the author managed to remain faithful to her text without any inconsistencies. The intimate scenes are extremely well done and really hot. But... I'm not sure if this book was proofread prior to the review copies going out, but the several editing errors did yank me out of the story on several occasions. Incidences of bit = big. Complimentary = complEmentary He/him = me/my. So this is where my star-rating dropped. Still, I highly recommend this book and the whole series! * heat 5 🔥 * first person /past tense/ dual pov * standalone * I accepted an advance copy for review from Booksprout. This is my voluntary review.
Mads is a very unconventional omega who essentially kidnaps Benny, the alpha his father has paid to see him through his heat. Although part of this series, Benny is retired from Bangers and Mash and this book doesn’t feature that marvelous company much. I liked the interplay between the two main characters because as usual Merry Farmer plays with the conventions of alpha/omega relationships. In the beginning their dynamic is definitely flipped as Mads has way more confidence than Benny and is the driving force (sorry I couldn’t resist the pun) in what is going on. Ms Farmer continues with the light touch that is characteristic of this fun series and the angst is not high although the characters still have things to work through. I admit to being a huge fan of this author and part of that is because her writing is so consistent. In no way am I saying that her books are repetitive or formulaic just that I know when I pick one up from any of the genres that she writes that it’s going to be well written, interesting, have unusual twists and be factually correct. This last one is more applicable to the historical books, but even in a book like this she makes an effort to keep her facts consistent. So to sum it up….a lovely, fun, interesting alpha/omega romance.

This is the 5th book in the Bangers & Mash series. I have to say that this one is my favourite by far. I really enjoyed it. This is the story of Mads and Benny. Mads is an omega who is trapped at home with his father. After an unfortunate incident at college, his dad has gone into over protective mode. He doesn't want his son hurt again. What he doesn't realize is that he is sufficating his son at the same time. Since Mads has a heat coming up, his dad has arranged for Teddy his usual ESA to help him through it. But Teddy is newly mated to Dan from the previous book Christmas Heat. So Teddy has arranged for his good friend to step in for him. Benny is a retired ESA and alpha. He has inherited his grandfather's ski lodge and needs money to renovated the lodge. He is also friends with Teddy. So off Benny goes to meet Mads. Right from the very beginning Benny saw Mads and wanted to support him. He treated him with respect and kindness. Mads soaked it up like a sponge. But Mads had plans to change his destiny and he was going to use Benny to help him do it. This is their story. This is a well written and easy to read book. I really enjoyed it. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Bennie is an Alpha, a former ESA for Bangers and Mash, called on by a friend to fill in for an Omega heat at the last minute. He has inherited a ski lodge which needs more money than he has to fix it up so he agrees to take the assignment. Omega Mads is the 22 year old son of a well known RV “ king”, living at home with his controlling father after some unfortunate college experiences. Mads desperately wants to be able to go out on his own again, but his father feels he needs protecting and isn’t capable of being on his own again. When Mads meets Benny and gets supportive vibes from him, Bennie “sees” him, he puts a plan into action to escape his father’s control, unbeknownst to Bennie. Mads convinces Bennie to ride out his heat in a van that he converted into an RV, then drives them away while Bennie is sleeping. Avoiding his father and dealing with his heat, a strong connection is formed with Bennie, leading to more if Mads can just get over his past and trust this Alpha. This is a sweet story with two strong characters, Bennie is serious and logical, and Mads has a wicked sense of humor. Plenty of “ heat” during the heat. A fairly short, fun read.

Omega Mads is tired of his life being controlled by his overbearing father who is the RV King of Barrington after he had a less-than-stellar experience at college. However, as soon as he met Alpha Benny who was the ESA hired by his father for him he liked him and hoped he was his ticket out of there. Benny hadn't been an ESA for years but had done it this time as a favour for a friend because he needs the money to sort out the run-down ski lodge that he has inherited. Being stuck with Mads who is in heat and determined not to return home is no hardship as they start to believe in a future (if they can keep Mads's father away).
I enjoyed this story with the two men who were fated mates although it took a while for them both to realise it considering that they had to get Mads through his heat. Mads's father was a caring man who just lost his way protecting him after the shock of his mistakes at college. I loved the enthusiasm for design that Mads had and that applied to everything from an RV to a ski lodge. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content that is set in the Omegaverse.
I have a bit of an issue with one of the main characters. Mads is young, appears spoiled and childish, has made mistakes in the past that have dominated the last few years taking away his independence and even privacy.
So... in theory his decision makes sense and his planning makes... A little bit of sense but when put together and in the move it's shenanigans and crime. Do I like it? No. Do I understand why the character did what he did? Yes... I still don't like it though.
Moving on from that, once things progress, Mads and Benny start to know each other and fall for each other things get on a better path. It's still crazy but makes much more sense and we get to see Mads show growth and Benny find a way for his happiness...
The way it all works out in the end is also great. I dislike Mads father for many reasons but I liked how the story ends with him and Mads in a better position and perhaps towards a better relationship.
In the end, I had a hard time getting in on the book for first few chapters but after it was fun, sweet and hot. Totally recommended and a 3.5 might be 4-ish rate for me
I love the connection that these two have Benny had retired from bangers and mash but when he got a call to help from Teddy he couldn’t say no. when Benny met the clients dad he wasn’t overly taken with him. But as soon as he met Madison he knew nothing would stop him from taking him on. Madison lived with his dad who was the RV king of Barrington. Madison customised the RVs for the business. The only problem is that he felt like he was a prisoner in his own home. Something happened when he was at college and it made his father extremely overprotective. But he had a plan. Benny and Madison have the best connection. As soon as they met there was just something there. Although Madison took matters into his own hands Benny knew that he would do anything to help him. The passion these two share is off the charts. There is such a magical feeling about these two. I’ll be very honest I didn’t take to the father at all. Another great read from this series.

Tropes: 💖 Omegaverse 💖 Age gap 💖 Size difference 💖 Good boy
“I forgot who we both were. I leaned down and kissed his lips—not too hard, not too soft, just like he was mine.”
(ENG) A light and sweet story in which, although we have a lot of spice, it doesn't overshadow the plot, which is well paced and very entertaining. The main conflict seemed different and well resolved, although I would have liked an epilogue to know how they are doing in their family business. I like to read omegaverse to cleanse the palate between deeper reading and this series never fails.
I really enjoyed reading this book. When Benny agrees to come out of retirement for the B&M ESA assignment that his friend is passing on to him, he didn’t take into account of fate and a cute but desperate omega, Madison, who is about to go into heat and desperately wants to get away from the gilded cage that his alpha father has placed him in. When Benny wakes up to discover that Mads had taken him away from the place of his assignment and is on the road, he convinces Mads to let him take home to a place where he is safe. This was an hilarious story of a shy omega who is running away from home and decides to take his alpha with him and the showdown between him and his father, leads to a lot of deep resentment towards his father being overprotective and then accepting his alpha in his life and a happily ever after for Mads and Benny.

Mads is desperate to break free of his father’s influence over his life. Meeting Benny and having him help through his heats seemed to be a dream come true for him. Benny only accepted the job as a favor and hoped that he would be able to use the money to bring life to his family’s ski lodge. He never expected to feel such a connection with Mads. When the opportunity presents itself for Mads to leave he jumps at the chance. Benny is skeptical about Mads’s plan but is swayed by the chance at a love of a lifetime. Working together in close proximity causes feelings to rise and deepen for both Mads and Benny. Having Mads there could play a huge part in making the ski lodge a success and Benny will do anything to keep the man he is falling for. Will their budding love be torn apart when Mads’s father tries to take him back?
The concept of sex workers who get omegas through heats (because they can't get through it on their own!) is interesting to think about. (This isn't the first time I've read this kind of plot, so not unique to this series.) The idea that it's not a problem for those alphas to then mate their clients is also kind of mind-blowing. Kinda weird that the whole thing going on here is rooted in the "omega oppression" trope of omegaverse narratives but it's spun like "oh but really my overprotective dad loves me" and is resolved maybe more easily than it should be. There's a delicate balance for success in having adult children talk to their parents about past hurts and working for a better relationship going forward, and it seems like a difficult needle to thread. That said, I had fun reading this book. It was light and fluffy and charming.
Okay, so this was a quick read that satisfies a very particular itch. Omegaverse is an interesting dynamic that isn’t for everyone. Specifically when it comes to male pregnancies. No this does not have a surprise pregnancy, but there is a breeding kink involved.
Mads is an omega who is completely fed up with the gilded cage his dad forced him into after some incidents at college but his normal ESA isn’t available to assist with the upcoming heat. Benny is a retired ESA who needs the funds that would come with helping out this omega’s heat. Sparks fly…along with a kidnapping, snowstorms, an alphahole for a father, van rehabilitation, and a squirrel.
This is definitely not an intro book for the genre, but if you like omegaverse, then give it a try.
Benny is doing one last B&M ESA for an omega for his friend because he found his one and also the money would help some in fixing the resort he inherited from his grandfathers. Mads had made some bad choices in college that his father had to save him from but father never let him forget that. When Benny showed up to take care of his heat Mads talked Benny into his van then when Benny was asleep took off. Benny took them back to the resort to finish Mads’ heat cycle father was upset and told Mads to return, they showed him that they were in love . Good book!.

Mads and Benny both need something from each other in addition to Benny being the ESA hired by Mad's father to help him through his heat. Mads needs help escaping from the smothering cocoon his father has built around him and Benny needs money to fix up the crumbling ski lodge he inherited. What they find, as they get to know each other is that they need each other as mates for life. Watching these two move from a strictly business relationship to opening up and caring for each other was wonderful as was the point where Mads was able to break free of his father and stand on his own with Benny's love and support. Another winner in the series.
Ben an alpha inherited his grandparents' skiing lodge but it needs a lot of work. He used to work as a ESA helping omegas through their heat. Madison is an omega who had something happen at college and now his dad won't let him live his life. Ben's friend asks him to be an ESA for one of the omegas who happens to be Madison. He agrees because he needs the money. Madison figures when he's with the alpha he can make his escape. Ben wants to help and along the way he starts having feelings for Madison and Madison starts having feelings for Ben. They both hope it lasts. I really enjoyed this book.
This is another great book to read! This is the fifth book in the series and just as good as the rest. This book was hard to put down. It is a real page turner. Apha Benny inherated his familys Ski Lodge and is trying to get it up and running again. Benny has agreed to help Madison through his heat. Mads is tired of living at home and unable to go anywhere he wants. Madison has redesigned a van and kidnaps Benny. They end up going to Benny's ski lodge. When Madison see the lodge he falls in love with it. Will Madison get what he wants???? Will Benny get to keep the lodge?????.

Books without an Epilogue feel incomplete to me. It just leaving me hanging wondering what happened next. This had no closure for me. I want to know how did the Lodge work out, how many kids they ended up having.
Also Instalove, I like it. But nothing much on the bond forming, nothing on the size difference. I do know some people do not like constantly being reminded about the size difference but if the author decided to bring that into play, at least use it i some scenes. There is so much that can be written into spicy scenes, after heat scenes with a tall and short couple.
Having said that its a quick read, lots of spice. Good for a quick read.
2nd favorite of the series so far mostly because we didn't see a lot of the insecure, woe-is-me omega bullshit that we've seen in other books, so that was a plus. I really liked how strong Mads was throughout the book and how he pictured the whole resort with kids running around way before he knew how Benny felt. He was a strong independent omega, but he still liked the safety that Benny offered to him. I liked how Benny could be a controlling alpha in the bedroom (holy shit these two) while also being a supportive partner outside of the bedroom. He really let Mads be true to himself, and in turn, Mads became the person he was meant to be.
Mads is trapped at home with his very overprotective father. After an incident at college, his instincts have been to keep a watchful eye. Unfortunately, this means, Mads is feeling suffocated.
With a heat coming, his father makes arrangements, but the usual alpha is now mated. He sends someone else in his place, his friend, Benny. Their connection became more than just getting through a heat cycle.
Amazing chemistry between them!
**I received this ARC from Booksprout for my honest feedback.**
Daddy Dearest! Talk about a Daddy who couldn't let go. OMG! And poor Mads, the more he tried to be a responsible and independent adult, the worse his father behaved - just like a really spoilt kid. I loved Benny. He was the perfect Alpha and what endeared me to him was how willing to support young Mads he was and that he had one goal - to make sure that regardless of anything or anyone else, Mads would safely make it through his heat. What followed after that was the cherry on the top. I enjoyed this story very much and am happy to recommend it.
