IKYFLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😱😱😱😱 The way I was not expecting not even one of the things to go down the way they did in this book!!!! I 👏🏽AM👏🏽DONE!!!!

This was the “get back” book in spades!!!! This was the “get back” book on crack!!! I just don’t even know what to say at this point because the math ain’t mathing when it comes to this cute ass cover vs what I just read!!! 🤯🤯🤯 LAWD take me now!!!

The book opens with a bang or should I saw a bop and not one that results in a two step, I’m talking about one up side the head! “Sisters” Quinn and Bree are going at it!!! And I’m not talking about a tussle. Nah these b*tches are throwing hands to the point where they done knocked over the Christmas tree 🎄 and are wrapped up in garland. The stockings are no longer hung from the chimney with care and instead of wrapped presents we have Bree’s hair wrapped around Quinn’s fist as she delivers a two piece combo that would rival any KFC or Popeyes!!

Only one thing can push two sisters over the edge like this and that’s a…….. *says in unison* no good ass n*gga!! Baby the way Quinn stood on business then devised and delivered the ultimate get back plan was insane. I was not ready for the secrets that would later be revealed and for Jackson to become unhinged the way he did!! Then Corrine’s hoe ass!!!! Chyyyy somebody get Tyler Perry on the main line ASAP!!! KL Hall knows she’s wrong for ending this “holiday” book like this. I don’t even need to tell y’all I’m jumping straight into book two because once again…. IKYFLLLLL!!!!!!!

Ummmmmm, callin’ K.L. Hall to the front of the class because, ma’am, you got some splainin’ to do! What in the Christmas ghetto mess is this?!!! Chiiiiiiiile, The Knight Before Christmas was the messy and petty holiday read I didn’t know I needed. This book started out with a bang from the first sentence in the first chapter. A stepsister sleepin’ with sister’s boyfriend, a brother sleepin with his brother’s girlfriend, a secret abortion, questionable paternity, revenge sex, and secret bombs droppin’ left and right. Then, the author had the audacity to end this book in limbo. Ma’am, if we don’t get a follow-up on these characters, please know I’m pullin’ up on you. If you’re lookin’ for a cute holiday read, this ain’t it. But, if you want to read about sibling rivalry on ten then, The Knight Before Christmas is what you want.

This was the most scandalous holiday novella I’ve read. It was messy from the very first page and by the end all parties involved had done their fair share of dirt.

This was some of the messiest ish I have ever seen! Whew..... Quinn came out the gate in the first few sentences, tearing up the house and whupping ass! I'm like what in the Christmas mess is this? 😂 Then she cursin' at and in the presence of her father, like it's cool! Nah! I'd be comatose chile! That ish ain't going on in our family! 😂 The revelations of who is sleeping with who, revenge plots, deception, betrayals and that damn ending! Uhhh.... ma'am? I know you did not just end that thang like that? What the hell? I need more! What is Jackson going to do? 🤬🤯 My heart is racing, and I don't know what is real and what is fantasy! Damn! 👍👍👍

Quinn said let me show you wtf an eye for an eye really means. After discovering her boyfriend of four years was the fkboy of the century, Quinn decided she needed to get her lick back.... Chillle on Christmas no less. 

The mess is messin and I'm running to the next book to see how it all shakes out.

I’m not the biggest fan of this writing method. I read one once where it was the whole book. Since no one told me I’m here to tell you: this isn’t romance, there isn’t a HEA. But it was as wild and crazy as I was told it would be.

If you’re trying to read books about a holly, jolly Christmas, this ain’t the book for you. The knight before Christmas ain’t no wholesome book, shit is going down and edges are being snatched from page one and I was shooketh to my core. The Knight before Christmas is messy and scandalous and in true fashion, I ATE THIS SHIT UP!!! If getting your lick back was a book, this would definitely be it. It’s full of sibling rivalry, secrets and betrayal that will have you ready to square up. At this point, everyone needs their ass beat. The author even had the audacity to end the book in a weird space. K L Hall, you will answer for the crimes committed in this book. I need more ASAP! If you need an entertaining and engaging read in less than 60 pages, pick this up NOW! S/O to my fantastic four member for insisting I read this. She be coming through for me.

MESSY MESSY MESSY

WHAT THE...the beginning of this story had me hyped up. Christmas was definitely on ten with Quinn laying hands on her stepsister and shaking up the house. With a betrayal as deep as that, all you see is red. Jackson was a piece of work. Not only do you betray your girl but with someone so close to her. This story had me in shock at the level of betrayal and revenge only to be like WHAT NO WAY at the end. Definitely need an update on this because I'm anxiousto read the outcome.

Baby this book kept me on my toes from beginning to end. Quinn just learned her bf is cheating on her and not only does she knock out the girl he’s been cheating with she decides to get her lick back with someone that should be forbidden. The ending left me hanging on a cliff and I need to go read book 2 expeditiously.
If you are looking for a holiday messy read then this is it!

The Knight Before Christmas gave me the exact mix of holiday chaos and revenge I needed. From page one I felt Quinn’s emotions and understood every bit of her frustration. Her journey pulled me in fast and the chemistry and tension kept me hooked. Knight had his own mess going on too and the way their paths crossed made the story even more addictive. And let’s be honest, we all know a Jackson and Bree in real life and even though they barely had a presence on the page, I still hated them on sight.

Corinne had me side eyeing from the moment she showed up and the energy shifted every single time she appeared. Then that twist came and K. L. Hall had my heart in my throat for a second. For a 47 page story this was dramatic, fun, and surprisingly intense. It delivered everything it needed to and now I’m already diving straight into the next one.

From the 1st page of Chapter 1, I knew I was in for a wild ride. After Quinn finds out that someone close has betrayed her, the gloves are off, and she’s ready for war. Loyalty no longer matters because loyalty wasn’t given to her. So she’s going to hit her enemy close to home and not think twice about it.

Knight is in the middle of a breakup and preparing for an out-of-state move when here comes Quinn, putting him right in the middle of her mess. Will they both recover from this, and how bad is the fallout going to be?

I love a well structured novella and K.L. Hall does a great job of giving the reader enough information to understand the characters and tell a fully fleshed out story.

This was very taboo and she leaves us on a cliffhanger- I can’t wait to read pt. 2.

Messy Good!

OMG! Talk about being on the edge of your seat! Whew, I thought I was gonna have a heart attack! This short read is jaw-dropping goodt! Wild & Messy!

Man oh man, Jackson is something else & ion know about you, but I believe that confession is soooo true!

I’m all for Quinn getting her revenge even thou two wrongs don’t make it right. But this made the story juicer and I love it!!! The good ones always get 💩 on 🤦🏽‍♀️

On to Part 2 I go, cause I gotta know how this plays out NOW! Amazing job Hall!

What a Wicked Series...Juicy and All

Okay I stumbled on this little Christmas novella thinking one thing and got a whole 'nother thing. Baby when I tell you I fell down a crazy, wicked juicy rabbit hole believe it. Should have know Quinn was a bad chick from the opening scene. It only gets hotter as the pages turn as we are introduced to Knight and Corinne. Knight is just done with Corey but she is not with him. You really need to read all three novellas in on sitting, if you can. Jackson is for the streets and that's all I am gonna say on him.

When I added this book to my TBR list, I thought I was getting a cutesy Christmas read. 🎄 I soon learnt from others’ updates and comments that I was mistaken. 🧐

From the first page, this read was on 100%. K.L. Hall literally dropped us right into the messy fire 🔥 with Quinn leading the way with her feisty self.

I breathed a sigh of relief for her, Knight, and Jackson at around 94%, believing, like Knight, that it was just a dream. Only to realise it was actually a premonition. Yikes! 🥴

Ms. Hall knew exactly what she was doing with that ending. Book 2, here I come! 🏃🏾‍♀️
