Really enjoyed this one, very entertaining!

Ross and Kyou need to be best friends.
I want to see Remi become Jarek's vampire!
Ivan is officially the best.

I would love to read more shenanigans of these two groups!

Ooh, time gap. Remi is almost an adult, and Ivan has kids. Ross as always has had enough, but he's a vampire now. Both sides still chaotic and having fun with it. I liked how geared up everyone was for battle and Ari just one shots the warlock. The secret reveal was nicely done and the two sides meshed well.

Uh ok...

So this was a short story featuring the found family of the unholy trifecta and the paranormal beings from Ross the PA's world.

But

This is years later and things have changed. The guys are all married and have more children and Ross and Glenn are an old married couple.

Remy is still super girl and every one who meets her loves her and wants to keep her. I still don't get that.

These two groups get together and defeat a warlock and his minions.

I was really looking forward to this as I just finished the trifecta recently but none of the guys acted the same. They were really over the top and K was all mother hen in a bad way, not the sarcastic way he was in his book.

Ross was cool but mostly took a back seat to the others.

There were many povs in here, including Remy's.

The good
+ A peek into the lives of the Unholy Trifecta, now that they've settled
+ The friendship between Ivan and Glenn

The neutral
o Not all of the MCs from the Unholy Trifecta series played a role, but I guess it wouldn't have fit anyway

The bad
- Ivan's severe lack of self-preservation when he works doesn't get him into too much trouble, because he has his team backing him up. By being Remi's only backup, he's taking that away. So I don't believe for a second that neither of them has been caught yet - they're just too irresponsible for that
- Ivan didn't seem to care about Remi's safety at all. They found out she stole something that could have killed her, and Ivan wasn't affected even a little bit. He just shrugged and said she's still alive. What the fuck?
- There was no difference between any of the POVs. The tone was always the exact same. What happened to everybody's personalities?
- The plot made no sense at all. The attack 'plan' was not really a plan (honestly, everything would probably have been cleaner and more effective had Glenn and Ross just stayed at home with their clan), and the conclusion was anticlimactic. Why spend so much time hyping up how strong and scary this warlock is, and then defeat him like this? That doesn't fit at all with the profile that was sketched of him, where he was in hiding for decades
- Remi got two POV chapters. Seriously? She wasn't even an MC in the Unholy Trifecta books. This read more like a spin-off than a cross-over

I was really excited for this, but I'm afraid Sherwood has decided to go in a direction that just doesn't work for me. I've loved most of her books thus far, but it's harder and harder to find personalities and differences buried under all the comedy. The plot made no sense, and the ending was anticlimactic. Would not recommend.

Rollicking Fun Time

Rating: 4.5🌈

For me, a fan of both series, Unholy Trifecta and Ross Young, Supernatural PA, this crossover was a howling success. In fact, I’m already crying for more. Assassins, dwarfs get yeeted, werewolves and vampires in battle, grenades, magic, and all our fabulous characters present and accounted for! That includes an almost grownup Remi aka Widow, 17, charismatic, and someone I very much need to see more of.

The plot itself is almost negligible, we just need an excuse to bring everyone together and have an explosive blast of craziness. Which is exactly what occurs.

If you haven’t read either series, this won’t make any sense to you. There’s too much missing background and depth of information that only available if you’ve read the series and know all the complicated relationships involved.

Do yourself a favor, and if you’re a fan of sarcastic humor, action, and hilarious characters and plots of snarky stuff with occasional depth into serious issues, grab both up.

Then head back here for a rollicking fun story.

The Plan:
A warlock to kill
Pretty, shiny things to steal
A mastermind plan for the killing of the above warlock
Trying to keep the clans out of the dwarven mead

What actually happened...
Semi-controlled chaos
Large metal things blown up
A warlock killed
Pretty, shiny things stolen
Dwarven mead for everyone... yep, that about covers it! 🤣🤣🤣

It was fun watching everyone trying to work together to bring down the "big bad" that we don't actually ever see... how weird! 🤔

Loved this!

This is one of the best things I've read in awhile. The combining of two worlds I love and seeing an almost grown Remi was the best. The heist, the planning, the action, and the aftermath are well worth the read. Pick this short story up if you loved Ross and Glenn's world and the Unholy Trifecta.

Lol

This was just as much fun as you would expect from this group. There was also the obligatory craziness of a crossover. It was great seeing Remi older and Yorrick is the best.

Battles, and wizards, and mercs, oh my

Remi went on her first heist. Ivan was there in case she needed help, of course. And apparently she does. Because that pretty necklace she saw and acquired is now glowing and levitating above the table. Ivan calls Glenn, who brings Ross, and Keane to look it over. Turns out the house sh robbed belongs to an evil wizard. An evil wizard who was moving next door to Glenn's clan. This won't do. So now the clan and mercs are going to work together to remove the wizard. Let the battle begin!

Spoilers ahead.
Battles equal party and parties equal dwarf mead. This battle was as hysterical as expected. I know Sherwood writes MM but I would love to see a Remi book. Especially considering that the clans are fighting over who gets to adopt her lol. Please tell me that she gifts the dwarves a grenade launcher in the near future?? The short leg comment, that led to her gift to them brings much inspiration and potential mayhem. And the wolves and vampires working out their zoomies lol. I really hope there's more installations in the future.

Smart solnishko that she was, Remi had waltzed in and out in under thirty minutes, taking something shiny to prove she'd done it. As expected of his girl. Even though she had another year until her eighteenth birthday, when she would officially become an adult, Ivan felt he had nothing really left to teach her. She was ready to take the world by storm.

Another short from his universe, this time featuring Ivan (Eidolon, if that rings a better bell) and his protégé.

It was fun meeting Ivan's family and realizing that he and Glenn had . And of course, the dwarven mead makes another appearance.

Rollicking Good

Readings of both the Unholy Trifecta and Ross Young were laugh out loud experiences, or should that be very loud, so what do you expect when you combine them? What you get is rollicking funny madness. Both Jarek and Yorick want to adopt Widow and the Trifecta and are are prepared to fight over them. Ross just wants to pull his hair out in frustration and Ivan and Widow’s fathers may have drank a little too much dwarves mead and that’s just what happens at the end of the tale. You don’t want to miss this one even if your ribs and sides might be hoping that you do and therefore don’t bust them laughing uproariously. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Mixing together these two.....oh my!

It was a good way to bring it all together with a stolen magical item and a need to set things right. How they come together after that works well and it would be interesting to see another story of them mixed together because it was really fun! Things go about how you would expect with the trouble makers teaming up, the leaders mixing well on their respective teams, and victory for all. It was a fun read and revisited each of these stories in the best of ways!

A short, amusing cross over story between the author's Ross Young series and the Unholy Trifecta series, set some years after both. Remi (Widow) is now 17 and has, with Ivan's approval, masterminded and successfully carried out her own heist. Only one problem... She's stolen a cursed necklace from a warlock just moving in. So now the gang reach out to Ross' team for help before Bad Things happen.

This moves at a quick pace and doesn't belabor anything. POV alternates between Ross and Remi. Wham! Bam! Thank you...

Four stars (-1 star because the alternating POV)

Can anyone here even spell Common Sense?

Take talent item acquisition specialists with a side of loading Charon's boat, a couple of Supernatural Clans (even with Ross being present), and an EVIL warlock moving into the area, stir well and add yeeted Dwarves, abandon back and enjoy the carnage.
Yes, this tale is as crazy as one would expect.
Read... laughter after all, is the best medicine.

A fantastic cross-over story!

A new challenging situation filled with baaaaad magic brings Ross, Glenn and their clan, Ivan, Remi and their ‘family’, and Jared’s clan together for some serious action! Told from multiple perspectives, this story is a truly amazing crossover for those who enjoyed the Ross Young series and the Unholy Trifecta series! Bring on the bedsheets, Dwarven mead and Remi’s grenades!

Just yes.

Another quick, quirky, hilarious, & delightful short by AJ Sherwood. Remi really stole the show in this one, & I'm enthusiastically hoping for more crossovers set in this bookverse. It was a continual hoot all the way through!

Tags: Remi speaking "old timey" (I am DECEASED 😆), yeeted dwarves (no dwarves were harmed in the writing of this story. Well, sort of... I think 😅), & that dang dwarven mead strikes once again. 😂😆

So - there is not much you need to say about this short story.
It is a short for readers who want to get a glimpse of the Unholy Trifecta and the Ross Young characters. The plot is clear, it is definitely mainly there to support the apperance of all beloved characters and for those who don't expect a whole book out of a short, written to entertain fans, it's going to be a fun read. I loved it, I loved seeing Remy all being a young woman, and damn....Ross still has his hands full.

Crossover goodness!

Best book I’ve read all year! Jk. But seriously, what way to start the year, I’d forgotten how much they made me laugh. I have mind to go back and read all the Ross Supernatural books again but instead I’ll be moving onto the Unholy books. This was a great crossover, loved seeing some of my favorites from Glenn’s clan, of course Ross and getting to know Ivan’s people, all while working to rid Manchester-by-the-Sea of a new resident.

I really enjoyed this crossover story. Before starting I went back and re-read The Tribulations of Ross Young. Mainly because I didn’t remember who Ivan was. I’m glad I did because I would have been a bit lost. I never read any of the series he appeared in but didn’t really need to. I really love these characters. They are so quirky and funny. I hope the author continues to write more stories like this one.

OMG Remi/Widow is grown!! Love the crossover

We have a crossover with the whole unholy gang. I've missed the group so much. I was happy in the last crossover with just Ivan and Widow ( still a little girl) but things amped up when Widow and Ivan do a hit that brings magical consequences. Enter Ross Nd his group of all that's paranormal. Yay!! So much fun!!

SO MUCH YES

Oh my gosh, oh my GOSH. Perfection. Utter simple perfection. I would love to see more crossovers like this, even if they're shorties. The shorties are lovely bits of happiness. Also, Remi getting adopted by all the war-loving supes??? *Chef's kiss* I would sell my soul to a warlock for more Remi and the clan shenanigans.

A lovely crossover

Ivan arranges a kind of graduation heist for Remi with unforseen consequences when it turns out the shiny she stole is a wee bit cursed. And belongs to a warlock. The solution involves bringing the Trifecta into the world of all the things that go bump in the night.
The characters from both series continue to delight and play off each other beautifully.

This is the cross-over between the two series, many years later when Remi is grown. It was a bit chaotic trying to get so many people's perspectives and you don't meet/see everyone but you do realize how families have changes. So it was a bit of chaotic in the Ross-way fun, but I could have lived without it.

This was okay.

I don't like the saying "Old soul" when describing children or teens. It always bothered me because though they may be "mature" for their age, they are not. Brains are not fully developed, and it's a grooming term that doesn't sit right with me.

But overall not bad.

Happy Reading

Really good and funny. Mash ups of author’s worlds are almost always too noisy, too cluttered. This one works really well, bringing together Ross and his supernatural family, and the Unholy Trifecta group. It made me want to go back and read/listen to the other two books in the Unholy Trifecta series.

Unholy Trifecta X

A bit of a mash up between a few of AJ’s supernatural series’s. Remi steals a ruby necklace from a mansion which turns out to belong to a warlock. Cue in Ross & Glenn and Keane to sort out the situation. Remi gets to play with guns and grenades and various clans get to battle the warlock and his minions with extreme prejudice.

All the fun!

This book is the epitome of a great time. It would be best if you were familiar with either The Unholy Trifecta or The Tribulations of Ross Young series (both would be best) before reading this book so you understand. I totally recommend this book and can't wait to read it again in the future!

Love!

Such an adorable crossover between two amazing series! I love all of these characters and it was so great to see Remi grown up. I hope we get to see more of everybody in future books. Anything by AJ Sherwood should be read!
