“I love this woman. My wife”
I really loved this book, I am a sucker for arranged marriages and this was done so well. I loved Nola and how she cared for Kir and Vadik and how they considered her as a little sister. I also loved her relationship with her brother and uncle and how they protected her till the end. I more than loved Pavel, how he had something special with each of his sons, how he cooked with Nola and treated her like a daughter (I want more of him pleasee😭) he truly is the best father. Okay, I know I talked about everyone except the love interest but this book has the best secondary characters I couldn’t skip talking about them. Now, I loved Kaz so so much, his protectiveness, obsessiveness and jealousy. How he took care of Nola at the end of the book, she broke my heart “I know I am safe”🥺 . I loved their relationship, how they both loved reading and Nola learning russian for him ( I think I need more of them).
I am so so excited to read Kir and Vadik’s books, the fact that they are also arranged marriages...😩❤️

I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to relate to Nola in the first couple of chapters (which is vital in this genre). Her first impressions had me worried. She seemed young, immature, and lacking independence. I didn’t give up on her and I found myself enjoying this read as she blossomed into a character I could respect, admire, and at times relate to.
I can’t wait for the next book and I am actually excited to see what characters this author comes up with in the next that challenges my first impressions.
