It is more like a collection of short stories than one continuous novel. The last chapter, The Unexpected, could be used in writer's workshop of how to just write about one part of a trip, in this case, getting there

This was a fun little novel that the kids and I read over a week at bedtime. It seems to be several short adventures of Jason and his little brother Edward. The title takes its name from the first adventure where Edward pretends to be a dog much to Jason's annoyance. The kids and I laughed and marvelled and discussed the adventures in the book; it was great fun. The only drawbacks were there didn't seem to be good transitions between adventures and at the ending it felt like we fell off a cliff the way the story stopped so abruptly.

I love the book. My favorite part was when the boys tried on the glasses, and when their mother had the pair of glasses that had clear lenses. I had to read this book for an assignment, I am glad I did too.

I think this was a really good book. I liked the story. I liked the part where the kid that everyone thought was the meanest kid in 4th graded ended up being the nicest kid.

My book that i'm reading is No Dogs Allowed the Author is Jane Cutler. The book No Dogs Allowed is about these two kids named Jason and Edward the parents of Jason and Edward are Mr and Mrs.Fraser. One day Jason and Edward wanted a dog but their mom said no so they started acting like dogs. The neighbors of the Frasers were complaining that Jason and Edward were to loud so they called the cops on the Frasers. The next day their was a new kid that came to there school his name was Kelly his nickname was killer Kelly that was his nickname because there was a rumor that spreaded that he was a bully.

One day Jasons friend told Jason that killer kelly was coming to their school his friend told Jason that killer kelly will take your chain off your bike if your mean to him or do something he doesn't like that you do to him. Jason's friend also said that he fry’s ants for fun when he’s bored. One day Jason saw Kelly so Jason turned the other way and sprinted away from Kelly in Jason's head he could hear Kelly getting closer to him every step he took. Jason reached a corner and jumped in these bushes Jason thought he got away but Kelly came in the bush Jason didn't know it was Kelly so he was calm. After their talk Jason found out that it was Kelly after that they became friends.

The book No Dogs Allowed was not good. I think that because the book was too short and because the book was not that interesting. The ending of the book I didn’t really get because they were on their vacation in the woods and there was a bike rodeo where bikers ride around the roads for three days straight. And that's why I don't like the book No Dogs Allowed.
