Maraschhino Cherry Cupcake is another installment in the Little Cakes series penned by Pepper North and Paige Michaels. In it they chronicle the age-play romance of Nicoya Stevens and Axel Jennings. She is a police detective who keeps her Lg side hidden. He manages a landscaping business. They are next door neighbors. Each is aware of the other. Destiny brings them together when Axel tries to plant a cherry tree in the backyard. However, he misread the map and starts digging in her yard. Sparks fly when she confronts him. He is able to see her Lg characteristics. When he sees her in the age-play section of Blaze, his suspicions are confirmed, he takes steps to claiming her as his Little.
Ms. North and Ms. Michaels did a remarkable job. Their dialog is outstanding. Their characters are multi=dimensional, yet, they are vulnerable. These qualities endear them to her readers. I enjoy how they continue to showcase the cammarderie amongst the Lgs and their Daddies.

Simply wonderful Little and Daddies read that you will love very moment of, you’ll be blown away
This was another simply wonderful addition to this series of wonderful Little Cakes it is simply impossible not to be blown away by this Little Girl that is a well-respected police officer, she is working in a very dangerous profession as a police officer and you will be blown away by this read.
Nicoya has been dreaming of one day finding a Daddy but up until now she had been seeing to all of her needs but had never met anyone that was Daddy material for one moment, now she meets her new neighbour a Gardner and Landscaper professional and they just hit it off straight away.
When she takes him to meet her friends at little cakes where they try the new flavour that she had been dreaming of and now that the Maraschino cake had been released there are people lining up and both Axel and Nicoya are blown away by the customer feedback.
There are some ups and downs in this story which I will not tell as I want to leave plenty of surprises for readers of this series, I guarantee that you will be left waiting in earnest for the next book in this wonderful series.
I guarantee that you will love every single moment and will be impatient for future books in this marvellous series.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Welcome to The Little Cakes Series Book 15! This is Axel and Nicoya's story.
Nicoya is a police officer who is tough as nails at work and good at her job. But when she gets home behind closed doors in private she is a Little without a Daddy and is losing hope of ever finding a Daddy out there for her.
Then she meets her new next-door neighbor Axel a landscaper and the new manager at Bark and Branches when he is planting a cherry blossom tree on her property thinking that it is on his own.
Axel is apologetic but Nicoya is annoyed but definitely notices Axel physically and Axel silently thinks she is a Little.
Later his suspicions are confirmed when he runs into her at Blaze. But they talk and she agrees to get to know him more.
As with most Little Cakes Books..when a Daddy sees their Little they just know and things happen fast. This book is no different. I love that Axel is helping her to experience a younger Little age that she has always wanted to explore but Nicoya has a moment of panic and shuts Axel out. Because her public image is so important to her and she is afraid her age play preferences will get out. Can Axel get Nicoya to not deny who she really is and open her heart to him again?
Loved the spice level of this one too!! It is a bit spicier than some others.
And I think we get a peek at a couple that appears in the next book Reindeer Tracks!!

Nicoya struggles heartily with her fear of being outed as a Little and how that could affect her job as a police detective. She lives a dual life, at work she is a big strong presence that can, and does, put fear into full grown men but at home she is a lonely little who has to care for herself. When her new neighbor Alex inadvertently digs a hole for a new tree on her property she confronts him aggressively. Despite the adversarial first encounter they both internally recognize the possibility that he is a Daddy and she a Little! Could this be fate? When they both show up at Blaze that night, all doubts are removed but can a relationship develop? Thanks to the strongly supportive community based out of Little Cakes, a safe beginning is assured and a relationship is nurtured. Not surprisingly, Maraschino cherries and cupcakes play a big role in breaking down barriers. Alex brings out the best and the littlest in Nicoya by being the Daddy of her dreams. Even though this story is all about the budding romantic relationship of Nicoya and Alex (with all the aspects of a DDLG romance including diapers) it also really expands on the welcoming, nurturing and supportive aspects of the surprisingly large age play community. I just love all these cupcake stories with their sweetness, sassiness, sexuality and guaranteed HEA. Sublime! 5 Stars

This was a short sweet story. However I did have some issues with the story.
This book is part of the Little Cakes series. This story revolved around a woman named Nicola Stephens who is a no-nonsense detective. She doesn’t tolerate shenanigans at the police station where she works. She meets a guy named Axel Jennings who is her new next door neighbor and landscaper. He is planting a cherry tree in the yard and she thinks it’s in her yard. Axel realizes that she is a Little. He wants to be her Daddy. He sees beneath her rough exterior that she is definitely a Little.
Axel finds out that she likes maraschino cherries 🍒. That is the newest cupcake 🧁 flavor at the cupcake shop she goes to. Nicola is a Little but she freaks out about having on a diaper when she will be going to Axel’s house. She knew she was a Little but she freaks out about wearing a diaper ????? There is also a part in the story where he has her wearing a plug when she is in her Little space. He also spanks her but they don’t discuss it first. They go to this BDSM club called Blaze. I wish that they showed more of the club in the books instead of just the Daycare at the club. I can’t wait to read the Christmas 🎄 book in this series.

I love this series so much!! The yummy 😋 cupcakes 🧁, the amazing characters, the sweet stories 🥰 I love Nicoya and Axel ♥️ Both characters were likable to me right away. I really enjoyed the way Axel tried to soften Nicoya’s heart 💜

I can't say how much I adore the Little Cakes series by Paige Michaels and Pepper North. Maraschino Cherry is the latest addition and is filled with just as much love, fun, and shenanigans as all the rest. What I love the most is that they all represent proud, strong, independent FMCs who can have it all professionally and in their personal lives.
Nicoya and Axel's story has just that. Nicoya is a police officer, so she has to hide her Little side so she is not viewed as weak. Axel is Nicoya's new neighbor, and a Daddy who recognizes his Little the minute he sets eyes on her. Now he just has to prove to her that she is safe to be as Little as she needs to be around him, and that he supports her, no matter what mindset she's in.
I highly recommend the whole Littles Cakes series to all who want their hearts and souls filled with love.

Maraschino Cherry by Pepper North and Paige Michaels is the fifteenth book in the Little Cakes series, and it was such a scrumptious treat of a read! And Nicoya and Axel deliver!
Niki is driven, accomplished, and has a difficult job, even though it's rewarding as well, giving back to the community. She doesn't think she has time or space for love, but her new neighbor is definitely going to try and change her mind! And then there's Axel. Immediately smitten, caring, giving, and completely focused on his girl from the start. They have some miscommunication, some light angst, but find exactly what they need in one another.
This story touches beautifully on vulnerability, on finding yourself, letting yourself be who you truly are, on feeling safe, on feeling loved, on being accepted for who you are, what you want, and what you have to give. It's simply lovely. Also, the anticipation that builds between these two will definitely have you squirming in your seat a bit! So, what are you waiting for? Treat yourself!

He decided to go to Blaze, a meeting place for Daddies and their littles. He found Nikki there with a bunch of littles in the playroom.
Alex wanted Nikki in his life. She liked Alex and was wondering if he could possibly be the one.
She would come home from a very stressful day, and he knew as a Daddy how to take her to her little girl person to make her relax.
I love how Alex has a big heart and would do anything to keep his little happy.
Alex didn't know that there were a lot of couples in this town that were Daddys and their littles. And all loved going to the Little Cakes shop.

Another sweet and hot story from Pepper North and Paige Michaels. This has become one of my favorite DD/lg series because of these two authors. Nicoya is a police officer but when she's not on duty, she lets her Little out. Axel moved next door and he meets her when he accidentally tries to plant a Cherry Blossom tree in her yard. The story takes off from there and I devoured it in one afternoon! She may be a bada$$ at work but she's very reluctant to let her Little out in front of people she doesn't know very well. With the patience of Job, Axel gets her to warm up to him being her Daddy only to have her freak out over wearing a diaper. Honestly, I did want to shake some sense into her but I kept reading and she finally comes to her senses and talks it over with Axel. I loved seeing all the characters from the previous stories and getting hints as to who will be in the next book. Seriously, I hope they keep writing this series because I have loved them all!

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This sweet addition to the Little Cakes series is about Nicoya and Axel. They are neighbors that meet when he goes to plant a tree in the wrong area. She is a good police officer and cares deeply about their town and community. She's pretty much a closet Little, afraid of the conflicted appearances to other people. She is around healthy DDlg relationships and that helps. Nicoya is in desperate need of a Daddy to nurture her. Axel proves to be exactly what she needs though. He is thoughtful even when he oversteps her boundaries. Overall, I enjoyed the story and all the characters. Nicoya's panic seemed justified at times and uncharacteristic at others, which made me take longer to believe their connection. By the end there was no doubt that she was Axel's Little Girl. Looking forward to Reindeer Tracks and Gemma's story.

This is such a sweet series. Nicoya is a police detective who has had a particularly stressful day when from her new deck she spies a strange man digging a hole in her yard in which to plant a cherry tree. When she walks over to him, struggling to keep her cool, he is friendly. He misread the property lines and is her new neighbor. He of course knows right away, not only is she a Little girl, she is *his* Little girl. Their relationship blossoms, not hiccup free, and Axel helps Nicoya to be her best Little self. Like the other books, there is a healthy amount of spiciness thrown in, and the town comes together to help one of their own. While Maraschino Cherry may be read as a stand alone, it is even better read in order with the other books. If you do read this one alone, you'll want to devour the rest too.

Wow, I loved this story in Little Cakes I couldn't put the book down and I wanted to join the Little's at Little Cakes. This was the story of Axel and Nicoya, they met with Axel digging a whole to plant a Cherry Blossom tree, Nicoya went down to have a go at him, he was approx two meters over on her land he knew she was a Detective then she left to back in the house. He knew she was a little all Daddy's know, she hid her little side and their chemistry was undeniable, he would cook for her, bath her, and had her trying new things. Axel put a nappy on her getting her to try it, what Axel didn't think about was the walking between the two houses and Nicoya got down ended their relationship and packed up all her little stuff and put it in the shed. Can they talk it through if she stops avoiding him.

Nicoya has been looking for a daddy since she saw Trace and Avery finding happiness. But with her job, that’s just too hard. When she catches her new neighbor putting a cherry blossom tree in her yard things change. Axel has seen Nicoya when he moved in. He wasn’t too sure if she was a little till he made the mistake of placing a tree in her yard. When these two meet again, it was fate. I am glad that Niki found her daddy. She deserves to have a man that will take care of her. Granted she did have to overcome a few things. I love that Axel took his time and also let her know that he wanted to care for her. He even saw a future for themselves even before the relationship got heavy. You have to love a man that works with his hands and knows how to use them. Niki had a lot of doubts about being little but she certainly was one. I am looking forward to Gemma’s story.

OMG when Nicoya gets all huffy after getting into LIttle space when she notices someone in her yard. She wasn't prepared to encounter the hunky Axel. These Littles in this series sure do hide quickly when they feel panicked or unable to handle what is being handed to them. My heart broke for Axel when he knew right away that he messed up - but he is new to having a Little - they need time to adjust. I know how Nicoya felt, with a public persona and not wanting her personal one to damage or have someone bring it to light before she was ready. That's why COMMUNICATION is important. This one tugged on my heart strings, and I loved how the Little's swarmed around to protect her on the unexpected meeting at the club. I recommend this book and the series to anyone who wants to read sweet, adorable, strong Daddy/Little; age-play story lines.

Police officer Nicoya is more than a little annoyed when she gets home to find a man planting a tree on HER property. How dare he! She marches out to give him a piece of her mind. Axel won't know what hit him. But as is usually the case in a story by Paige Michaels, nothing goes to the original plan, and Axel and Nicoya find themselves on totally new ground. Axel is a Daddy and Nicoya is a Little - but only behind the closed doors of her house. She does have a reputation and image to uphold after all.
The story is full of the well thought out ideas and inspirations only Paige can come up with and her stories make for some entertaining, heartwrenching, heartwarming stories.
Highly recommended story.

I always enjoy reading these Little Cakes books, there is always a hard won romance, plenty of delicious cupcakes, and a fun filled visit with some of my favourite characters.
Nicoya epitomizes the strength of character required to fully immerse herself into her Little. She carries a heavy weight through her day job, her time spent Little rejuvenates her, a balancing act like this needs a Daddy.
Axel is pretty easy to fall in love with, not perfect, but perfect for Niki. I love the way the authors describe this lifestyle, and I can understand the lure, the freedom to be temporarily without worries or responsibilities. To reach an inner peace and just be.

Detective Nicoya Stevens has had a disastrous day at work when he spies a landscaper planting a neighbour's cherry tree in her garden. Axel Jennings has a laidback attitude and can't understand the fire in the eyes of the woman over such a fixable mistake. Then he catches a glimpse of something he recognises in Nicoya and he is sure there is a Little hiding beneath her tough exterior which just needs a patient and loving Daddy to tease it out.
I enjoyed this story with the strong but stressed woman who just needed someone to help her with her little persona and care for her. I liked the way that he was so caring and tolerant no matter what happened. This was easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MF story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLG dynamic.

Be true to yourself
Another brilliant addition to the Little Cakes series.
Nicoya and Axel are brilliant characters.
Nicoya is a no-nonsense police officer who is very careful about letting her little out.
Axel is a daddy looking for his forever girl.
Axel is new to town, and when he accidentally starts to plant a tree over his houses boundary line, his new neighbour is quick to point that out.
Axel suspects he can see the little in Nicoya but doesn't know for sure until a trip to Blaze.
There starts a detailed story full of emotion and discovery. Boundary are pushed, and a littles place in the world is discovered.
I loved this story and highly recommend it. The series and authors

She has a stuffie named Ruffles,a German Shepherd; she could not in all honesty take on a live dog because it would not be fair to the dog to be left home and alone for so much time.
Nicoya did not know it but she has met her Daddy in her own yard as he was trying to plant a tree.
Axel thought he was planting in his own yard but misread the survey papers.
Their relationship starts out on a rocky patch but a good lasting relationship takes time and patience.
Wonderful story with a lot of the previous cupcake characters making cameo appearances.

The latest and tastiest of the Little Cakes series, it's full of fun, Little hijinx when a misread property boundary plan brings serious and responsible Police detective Nicola into the path of her landscaping Daddy. Axel and Nicoya’s story is sweet from start to finish. Nicola is police detective who after an especially stressful day just wants to come home and sink into Little space to escape it would be better with a Daddy but she’ll just have to make do the best she can until she finds one. Axel has just moved into his new home and is digging a rather large hole in what he thinks is his property but his cute neighbour tells him he’s made a mistake. All of Axel’s Daddy’s radar goes into overdrive as he talks to her but can he convince Nicola that he’s the Daddy she’s been waiting for.

This ended a little too, too quickly.
Another good Daddy/little story about landscaper, Axel and police detective, Nicoya. It just ended a little too quickly before any decisions were made or we got to see them actually living together. It felt like it needed just a little more story, or an epilogue, or SOMETHING! Also, I was surprised with how calm Axel was with her line of work. And I wish we got to see the reaction her old classmate had with his house. Isn't it such a cooincidence that everyone we meet in this town are Daddys and Littles? Squeeeeee! ;D

Thank you for my Birthday present it was perfect just what I wanted but oh so hard to force myself to read slowly. I love reading Little Cakes books soooo much and you unknowingly gave me one for my birthday, as mean as it sounds this was the only present I was looking forward to getting. Nicoya is a detective and when she is home she is a secret little who wants a daddy . Nicoya meets Axel when he moves next door and accidentally plants a cheery blossom tree on her property . they have instant chemistry . Axel thinks she is a little and his suspicion is confirmed when he spots her in the little play area at the club .... they start getting to know each other and she agrees to try out letting Axel be her daddy things happen she panics but the end always a happy ending and i cant wait for the next book

Turns out Axel showed up too. They talked things out and so begins their journey. Very good story and ending.

Who is Nicoya? Is this a new character brought on? Oooohhhh, I am intrigued! Who is Axel? What does he do for a living? What about Nicoya? What is her profession? How do the two end up meeting? Oh, their meeting was so funny! This was one of the sweetest love stories in this book for the Little Cakes Series. Watching Axel and Nicoya get to know one another in several ways was fun. I cannot wait for the Reindeer Tracks book to come out! These two authors write seamlessly. I typically forget as I'm reading that there are two authors because of how well-written these stories are. Enjoy the read!

This is a sweet Ddlg story between a little police officer and her neighbour who's a landscaper. Being a little with such a public position can be challenging and stressful. Nicoya is desperately trying to suppress this part of herself, the one that wants to be carefree, play and relax, but her new Daddy is patient and respectful and already in love with her so he gives her space but at the same time doing little things for her in the background, showing her that he's there whenever she's ready.

I always enjoy meeting all the Little Cakes characters and the books reflections on the different personalities. In this book, Nacoya is scared of what will happen if her secret of being a Little is exposed and losing the respect and authority she has worked so hard to earn as a police detective. Axel is patient and kind trying to get her past these fears and be the daddy that she needs. Not only was there a new flavor in Ellie’s bakery but some good lessons and supportive friends to help the couple along.

The series is loosely based around a group of friends and a cupcake bakery, hence the names of the books (hopefully there will someday be a cookbook). While a Dd/lg relationship, the ladies in this series tend to be stronger/more self-sufficient than most - police officers, business owners, etc, who just need the relief and care during their private time. As wit the others in the series, this book will not disappoint.
