Siedzimy z Igą od kilku godzin i rozwiązujemy zagadki w Dzienniku 29 Zapomnienie. Jest to interaktywna gra książkowa, czyli książka, w której tak naprawdę my jesteśmy bohaterami, bo sami musimy natrafić na rozwiązanie sprawy🙈.

O ile już wcześniej miałam styczność z takimi grami, właściwie dwoma (a może trzema?) to trochę innymi, bo ta totalnie wypluwa ze mnie wszystkie moje myślące komórki 😂 nie jest taka łatwa jak by się mogło wydawać, więc jeśli lubicie główkować - to coś zdecydowanie dla Was!

Jedyne czego potrzebujecie:
- egzemplarz książki ze zdjęcia,
- coś do pisania
- telefonu, bo na stronach są kody QR, które musicie zeskanować i wpisać rozwiązanie zagadki, żeby otrzymać klucz. A klucze są potrzebne do kolejnych zagadek.

Moja głowa pracuje na najwyższych obrotach, trzeba myśleć czasami totalnie na odwrót, przymrużyć oczy, obrócić książkę, pogłówkować… ale ile to frajdy, gdy się zgadnie - nie do opisania 🥹
Najlepiej, jak siedzi się nad jedną zagadką x czasu, a gdy już wpadnie do głowy rozwiązanie… okazuje się TAK oczywiste, jak jeszcze chwilę temu wcale nie było 😂

A szata graficzna książki to jakiś kosmos, jest tak pięknie wydana! Mrocznie, oddaje totalnie klimat opowieści z pierwszej strony o powstaniu dziennika. Naukowcy trafili na ślady obcej cywilizacji, przez 28 tygodni nie było żadnych rezultatów, aż w 29… cała ich grupa zaginęła. A jedyne co zostało to ten dziennik…

The use of web-based environments is fun, but I feel like it takes away from the book being a literal puzzle. That being said, there are still lots of fun and challenging puzzles here (I even needed a few hints along the way). Only one puzzle vexed my mathematical integrity, hence the missing star.

I was very disappointed by this book. The first book of this style I ever did was the original Journal 29 book. It’s what set me on a quest to find and do every interactive puzzle/escape room book I could get my hands on. I compared every book to the O.G journal29 book. I could not wait for this to come out. What a let down- A few of the puzzles are 4 pages long. They easily could have been 1 page. The book was already shorter than the previous 2 books so to lose multiple pages to one puzzle was frustrating. That’s like 16 extra puzzles that could have been included. These books were unique. They required out of the box thinking. This one just mimicked the previous 2 in puzzle style and was easy to get the answer, since I had seen the style before. I finished it quickly, the others took time. I would have given it no stars if it weren’t for the fact that I am still a die hard fan. I just hope the next one is better.

Třetí kniha z řady Journal 29... a pokud se nepletu, první vyšla i v češtině. Je to vlastně únikovnka v knižní podobě, kdy vyřešením jedné hádanky získáte slovo, která vám může pomoct v jiné. Někde se musíte připojit k počítači a připojit se na stránky či hledat informace. Tyhle věci nejsou zase tak náročné a jsou spíš na ozdobu, stejně jako jsou nějaké hádanky zbytečně natažené na víc stránek. Dost hádanek tady bylo už hodně jednoduchých, naopak na pár bych fakt bez nápovědy nepřišel... ale pořád se najde pár, které potěší nějakým nápadem či elegantní otočkou, nad kterými jsem si lámal hlavu, aby pak přišel náhlý moment osvícení. Což je mimochodem na tomhle pěkný - pokud na věc přijdete, máte ji pak během chvíle vyřešenou, není tam žádné dlouhé přepisování šifer a kódů.
Dimitris Chassapakis už měl lepší věci, ale pořád je to zábavná knížka, kterou můžu příznivcům únikovek doporučit.

Excellent logic puzzle game book series. Very hard, but a robust online hint system really helps when you get stuck and can't progress. I do wish there was more of a story--it would be cool if there was a narrative companion to this, or a sense of the puzzles unlocking a mystery. Still, I've bought all the books in the series and I keep wanting more. I also love those "ah-ha!" moments I get when I notice something hidden on the page. There were a few times when I (figuratively) slapped myself for missing something super obvious--but that's the point. These puzzles really play with your ability to observe & connect the dots. If you like escape room & adventure puzzle video games, this is the analog equivalent.

I was gifted this book and it’s a disappointment, it’s half the size of the previous one, and given it’s publish date, has stolen the original ideas for some of the puzzles from one I have done recently called Tachyon-Interactive Puzzle Book. I’d recommend that over this!

Journal 29: Oblivion is a brilliantly immersive puzzle book that challenges you to think outside the box with clever riddles, QR-based keys, and an addictive mystery that keeps you turning pages and solving until the very end.
