Four Sweet Christmas Romances

Second Chance Mistletoe Kisses
Two broken hearts plus one meddling grandmother equals a Christmas to remember.

In high school, I was the poor girl who fell for the rich boy. His father told him to dump me or lose his inheritance, so after graduation, he walked away from me. A year later, I get engaged. I thought he would come to stop me, but he didn't, so I tried to move on.
6 years later, it's Christmas time and I'm a single mom with only a few hundred dollars in the bank and 3 meager presents under the tree. I agree to make bows for my daughter's dance because I'm tired of the PTA moms thinking I'm too poor to contribute.
Just as I get out to my car after buying ribbons, my door swings open and scratches the Jaguar next to me. A familiar voice sounds and I turn to see the man who left me 7 years ago standing there with keys in his hand.

Second Chance with the Billionaire
Two wandering souls. A secret in his past. And a Christmas wedding to reunite them.

My best guy friend finally kissed me on prom night, only to abandon me a few minutes later. 7 years later, I'm back in town for Christmas, and get roped into being me old friend's maid of honor.
I say yes, until I discover that he's the best man. I'm trying to pretend that I'm not still broken hearted, so I agree to work with him.
At the bridal shop, there is a problem with the bride's measurements so I find myself in her dress, standing on the pedestal in front of him. When I look up, I find him staring at me, his eyes dark and hooded.

Second Chance at Christmas Inn
Two Broken Hearts. An Inherited Christmas Inn. And a Grandmother Determined to Bring Them Together.

Christmasland
Welcome to Christmasland A Town Where All Your Christmas Dreams Come True

When he's the Grinchy, heart broken hero who hates Christmas but, when he finds out that I grew up in foster care and has never had a traditional Christmas experience? He's suddenly making hot chocolate and planning horse drawn slay rides in the snow.

plods alone but at least the characters are adults

The stories all had adults who talked and sorted out misunderstandings with each other. There was no real excitement or angst, it just was Christmas as normal folks. I could see the stories being told by a friend or a co worker quite easily.

Homely and heartfelt book, I did enjoy it but had to put it on my DNF pile. Sometimes I’m a bit too much of a pessimist for these happy endings and romances. It’s the old cliche “it’s not you it’s me”. Genuinely they are sweet, well written short stories.

Christmas Collection

I enjoyed the stories in this book. It helped to have epilogues at the ends.
I noticed that the characters said nope for no and yep for yes. Although I saw yeah used a few times. That bothered me.
My copy also had some grammatical errors. Otherwise, the stories were good, and could be used as "Hallmark" movies.

Read the first book in the box set. Second Chance Mistletoe Kiss

It was ok. A little too sweet for me. It’s like G rated. I need at least PG-13.

Read the first one- I didn’t realize it had kids in it so that wasn’t preferable. I liked it but the ending felt really rushed.

Desperately needs editing

Grammatically full of errors, impossible situations, unfinished sentences, need I go on. Totally predictable to the end. The author should not quit her day job.
