LDN is a prescription compounded medication that very effectively reduces inflammation.
Low Dose Naltrexone has been shown to be one of the keys to the future of medicine for many disease processes that are inflammatory in nature. It is also an efficacious pain control agent.
It is my hope, and the hope of the world-class authors of this book, that you begin your medical journey toward healing by learning more about this wonderful medication".
I received a gifted copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review as part of the book tour hosted by Literally PR.
The LDN book 3: LOW DOSE Naltrexone, is a non-fiction book with some fantastic information in relation to numerous different things. What drew me to this book was the Depression, Long Covid and Cancer topics but I found all of the book informative and insightful. As a long - covid sufferer last year and having depression and an autoimmune condition, this book really gave me some food for thought. My mother also suffers from an autoimmune disease and has had cancer twice and I will be gifting my copy to her to see her insight to this too. This is definitely a book for discussion with medical professionals, and I want to re-read it again and highlight sections I want to do this with.I hope to read the first two books in this series for further reading and would highly recommend anyone who's suffered from any of the illnesses or conditions listed to give it a read!
Thank you to Literally PR for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.I learnt a lot when reading this book especially in the long covid chapter.Having long covid myself i definetly am thinking about trying LDN. Sometimes I did struggle to follow along with the names of things but it was really insightful and helpful and id recommend to anyone struggling at the minute. Im going to try get a copy of Books 1 and 2. Such a talent thank u for all your help Linda
I have an autoimmune condition and have never heard of LDN until I was gifted this book from Team @literallyPR
The LDN Book 3: Low Dose Naltrexone I was totally engrossed in this and whizzed through it. A real insight. Then I went back and highlighted all the bits that I could take to my consultant and discuss at my next meeting. I then did some of my own research and listened to a couple of podcasts about this. Including an interview by the author Linda Elsegood. I have suffered for many years and had not been aware of this so I thank the author and the team at LiterallyPR. Really helpful and interesting book. I will be looking out for more in this subject.
It’s up for discussion for me personally.
Thank you team LiterallyPR for my copy in exchange for an honest review.
Was really looking forward to this but found it is really written for a medical audience. Wish there was another version for lay people or that that had been made clear to me. The dosing recommendations at the end also didn't seem to have any clear justifications behind them.
This is an invaluable resource for medical practitioners such as doctors and pharmacists, nutritionists and consultants, as well as patients as it covers so many different conditions and health issues. With insights from some of the global leading experts on Long COVID to longevity, cancer to autoimmune diseases, mould toxicity to mental ill health, The LDN Book 3 edited by the founder of The LDN Research Trust, Linda Elsegood, is undoubtedly a 'go-to' resource in clinics around the world who advocate for this cheap, effective and fascinating drug - Low Dose Naltrexone.
This is NOT an easy read - it's for people living with and/or treating specific illnesses. It is not a layman's book so shouldn't be read as such.
This is the definitive guide to how LDN can help a vast range of illnesses and health conditions. Providing the latest research and science behind this under-used, misunderstood drug. A book that has clearly been put together through sheer hard work and a determination to get more support for a drug that has changed thousands of lives already and could save thousands more each year with further investment into clinical research and education.
There is a conference happening in June (streamlined for global access) in the United States that will bring the book to life: http://www.ldn2023.com/
