My new boss thinks he owns me. I can’t decide if I hate him. Or if I want to kiss him...
I’ll do whatever it takes to impress my super smart, serious boss. Thanks to my secret crush, I’ve moved cities and given up everything to become part of Jacobian’s pack.
Shifters from his pack are being hunted down and I've been brought into his elite tech team. Now I'm risking my life to conduct corporate espionage and gather intelligence.
But impressing Jacobian is proving way harder than I thought. When one of the employees I’m spying on starts showing interest in me, Jacobian forbids me from putting myself at further risk.
I know I’m only an intern, but I don’t appreciate being micromanaged, and I plan to show him exactly what I’m capable of.
I’ll do anything for my career, except the determined look in Jacobian's eyes tells me there’s another reason behind all the special attention he's giving me. And surely one little love bite can’t hurt...
Bitten by the Alpha Boss is the second book in the Silent Ridge Pack series. It focuses on a different couple, Hannah and Jacobian, but continues the plot from the first book. Because of this, I don't recommend reading this book without reading the first book. I've read the first book and had to rack my mind to remember it, to follow parts of the plot of this one.
This review is hard to write because I didn't like the first half of the book, at all. Hannah and Jacobian's interactions were so abrasive. Hannah took offense to everything Jacobian said and he felt frustrated and disrespected by her. I found it aggravating and tedious. They were horrible at communicating together. Fortunately, once they slept together they started acting like they at least liked each other, but by then I was over it. I just wanted the book to end.
I did like the second half of the book better, though I didn't like the circumstances of Jacobian mating Hannah. Mainly because I'm not confident they would have ever become a couple without that happening.
All in all, I was glad when it was over. I didn't hate it but I can't say that I liked it either.

I’m still getting used to this author’s writing style, but I absolutely loved this story. I just knew something was cooking between these two in the previous book, and I’m so glad we were able to see these two come together. The author continued with the action packed danger from book one and sprinkled in some more possibilities for future stories. The characters were as amazing as I thought they would be. She is a sassy lady who just wants a little respect and he’s a brilliant mind whose not sure what he wants. Regardless, these two take their sleuthing to another level and many things come to a head as more intrigue is uncovered. I can’t wait to read the next book, no matter which couple is the feature.
Jacobian has placed Hannah on a very tricky mission. She is trying to get information from a hidden department. Not the easiest thing to do but she is a smart cookie so he knows she can figure it out. What he can't figure out is why his wolf seems to go all wriggly around her. He has been attracted to others before but there is just something that gets under his skin about her. Hannah cannot help but admit that her boss is fine but he is also grumpy, driven and very off limits. That is until he isn't and a night swept up in undeniable passion has him giving her a mating bite. Now what?? I have to say that I loved this book. The plot twists and the ongoing story abot why they are all doing what they are doing is a great backdrop tp the intensity between Jacobian and Hannah. Love this couple.
Hannah is on a mission to find out what is going on at Mr Bronson's company. She has to report in to Jacobian who is struggling with his attraction to her. Despite the attraction they both know that they have to find out what is going on. There is too much at stake for them to give in to it. But when things go too far and they are partially bonded decisions have to be made. When Hannah has a breakthrough they are one step closer to finding out why shifters are being kidnapped. A great follow on from the first in the series which has had me hooked from the beginning. Full of intrigue, suspense and steamy sex, you will not want to put this book down.

I enjoyed reading this shifter romance. Jacobian is a nerdy alpha shifter that codes beautifully. He is on the task team to help find out who is kidnapping shifters and Hannah is an intern they placed doing undercover at a corporate office. Jacobian is her boss and tells her what to do. Hannah feels she could do much more if she was not micromanaged by Jacobian. They are one fascinating and fun couple, especially since Jacobian does not have a clue how to talk to a woman. This is a very interesting and intriguing shifter mystery. Very good shifter read.

Hannah and Jacobian were not the best pair for easy communication. With his micromanaging and her irritation at his doing so, their abrasive interactions were not very productive. Hannah is his intern who was working at another company in an undercover capacity to discover if that group had anything to do with the witches hunting the pack members. When he thinks she is in danger, or perhaps it is simply jealousy at the attention of an employee in the other company, he tries to pull her out, and she gets angry with his interference. Will this make her reckless trying to prove herself and possibly cause her to put herself in real danger?
I'm not sure if this book was better just because the story had an entire book to itself to tell the story or if this mating was more two sided and both mates were much more invested in the good of the pack and the threat going on than they were invested in the singlar task of protecting their mates above all others. I get that, but I really have more respect for Hannah and Jacobian for loving each other and working through the unexpected mating situation without bringing massive amounts of pack resources and time into others helping them do that.
Well done Skye! I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
When you are a college student and you get a internship with the pack leadership to work not only for the leaders but also undercover .It's a big deal, a big responsibility. Hannah was from one of the less wealthy families in the pack. Being not only a shifts but also native. She was proud of her heritage and worked hard for everything she had. Jacobian was one of the pack leadership being a tech wizard and able to do almost anything in computers, serurity, phones or anything in the world of technology. He was also wolf shifter and native. Hannah and Jacobian were strong personalities that did not exactly hit it off right off the bat.
It was a REALLY good book, I was hooked by the description because who can deny a good office romance + shifter mates! But there was definitely an inner plot happening that stemmed from book one. It’s just not the trope I like and I could slide through book 2 easily without too much of a plot hiccup. You can pretty much fill the blanks for what happened.
Anyways 3/5 spice, it was good but not too many scenes. Obviously still a great book even without that
This story regurgitated most of book 1, sometimes it seems word for word. Intermixed with a new love between a hacker and his subordinate. There is subterfuge as they try to find the bad guys hurting shifters, several battles including a romantic one as the hacker and his girl fight the attraction then fully submit to it. Bad were taken down. But all the guilty parties were not uncovered. This book was interesting, but it badly needs editing. Still I like these characters.
Hannah became an intern to Jacobian but was working undercover in a company to see if they had anything to do with the witches hunting them. Samson a friend of Emma’s helping with curses and spells. She finally heard that the guy she was going on dates with was the one they wanted, his family was working with the witches. But one night Jacobian accidentally bit Hannah but it was all good! Good book!.

This is the second book in the series and the first book is a definite must read before you read this book. The storyline that began in the first book continues in this one and it’s not done yet, leaving the reader hanging for the last book in the series. The lead characters are likable, the banter witty while the story is told from 2 POV. There is action, intrigue and lots of heat.

This series have an interesting plot, but all the 3 heroines (Lyssa, Emma and Hannah) have the same personalities. The whole series could revolve around one couple and nothing will really change because they are all so alike they're basically 1 person. Same with the men. Also not feeling the vibe between Jacobian and Hannah, their interactions are frustrating and it's exhausting to read at times.
I love a protective possessive alpha. Skye Wilson is the queen of writing sassy females and protective males that stop at nothing to get their mate. The steam and romance makes me highly recommend this swoon worthy book.

So I read the first two books and quite liked them. Liked the character and the underlying pack story. This book though, the only good part was the continuation of the pack drama. Hannah and jacobian’s piece was painful. Two brilliant people acting like Tarzan and Jane. Really disappointing.
Was this a match they wanted? Who knows, but they had some fun doing it. It was filled with dry humor but it was extremely entertaining to read. The action was good, so was the romance between the two main characters. My favorite character was the green witch. Excellent reading.
I don’t know what to do about my boss, he is driving me crazy Hannah thought. Can she work with her boss Jacobin when they have accidentally mated or will she be fired and kicked out of the pack? Only they must find out what is happening to the other members of the pack. Recommend this book and series.
Shifters are being hunted and Jacobian has Hannah undercover, shes his boss, a line not to cross but when they do, things dont always go to plan. well written steamy, engaging desires, drama and more.

New to this author so far, each book has been great bitten by the alpha boss has been my favorite. I love the back-and-forth between the characters had me laughing.
Another great addition to this series. I love reading how the couple stories are coming together. Even though some some things are over lapping and missing. I absolutely loved it and looking forward to the next one.
Hannah is a wolf shifter. Her pack has her under cover in a business they want to run. Jacobian was her boss. He run the internet and security. He was her mate but didn’t know it. Read to see what happens.
Scrolled through most of the book and only read what was said between the characters and what happened in the last 25% of the book. This was pretty boring and replayed what happened in book 2.
Great book, I love the story line of this series. Each bòk is different. Telling a continuous story of the pack as it does for the shifter's idividual lives, Can't wait to read the next book!
It's good unfortunately a large portion is a retelling of the first book from different characters point of view until the last 40 pages. So it was quite boring for the most part.
Absolutely Fantastic.. Action packed. With mystery from the beginning all th way to the end. Exciting twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
