Entertaining series, the characters and storyline are well written and I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a Free copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

Really enjoying this series. Tabitha has another murder to help solve with detective Jay. But this time her sister Pepper is visiting and also lends a hand. Good read.

This series really takes off with the arrival of Tabby’s sister, Pepper, and her exposure to the magic. Fortunately for Tabby, her mom clued her sister in ahead of time so she doesn’t have to hide anything - or does she? Pepper doesn’t seem in any rush to head back to medical school and Tabby is starting to wonder what’s going on. The mystery of the blue crystal deepens with Pepper’s arrival as well. Great current mystery along with the mystery surrounding Aunt Lizzie’s death. And another great epilogue to answer any questions you may have at the end of the story. This series just gets better and better and can’t wait to see how it plays out next.

An Excellent Mystery . . .
The Heirloom Café was super busy as Tabby Chase prepared the unique coffee drinks. Her sister Pepper was coming to Crystal Cove for a visit, and Tabby was excited to see her again. As they hugged, she overheard Marigold Weathers telling someone she found another death threat on my car, telling the other witches to keep an eye out tonight at the winter solstice festival. Before Tabby could ask questions, the entire group went out the door.
When Tabby and Pepper arrive at the festival, the local witches are acting unfriendly instead of welcoming. When one of them, Donna Davine, falls to her death from a high-wire act, it may not be an accident as was initially assumed. This was a deliberate murder. As Tabby and Pepper, along with Sherlock the cat, assist Detective Jay in the investigation, another surprise awaits them when Jay points out that this death may be the same thing that happened to their Aunt Lizzie a year ago when she had been attempting a similar stunt to Donna’s and fell! Will they find the killer this time?
This was an enjoyable story, well-written with a variety of characters to keep the reader guessing. Grab your copy and find out if they have a serial killer on their hands, or if there is another reason for what is going on.

More tension is brewing between the church and the coven. The witches in the coven are bickering amongst themselves. Tabby’s sister Pepper comes to town, and another witch is murdered. Crystal Cove is quite the center of activity.
The murder is the main focus of this book as with all the Tabby Chase books. However, there are many stories intertwined, which is how most books are. Crystal Cove has a lot going on. Some good. Some bad. The best side story, however, is the connection between Tabby and her sister Pepper. Sometimes opposites aren’t as different as we think. I’m excited to see how this relationship grows and what choices Pepper makes, in particular.
With the murder of a witch, there are almost too many suspects to count. There are so many, Tabby has a full spreadsheet. So many secrets are being hidden. Truths are uncovered, and emotions become more difficult to keep in check. There were parts of this one that gave me the feels. I couldn’t help it. Then, as I continued on, the interest in the stories and connections between the murder and the suspects pulls me out and keeps me wanting to know what happens next. So much fun!
I know I am repeating myself, but Moms, go get these books to share with your teenage daughters. Make it a new tradition just for you and your daughters. Such fun memories! 💖

I loved this book! It was great to see Tabby and her sister Pepper interact and that she embraced the idea of magical feelings as well. Sounds like she might stay there for a little while so I look forward to the next book involving both sisters once again!
Another witch dies in this book as it opens and after Tabby’s detective friend sees some similarities between this witches death and Tabby and Pepper’s Aunt Lizzie her case is reopened. New information is discovered and a couple of suspects are looked into.

This whodunnit will keep you guessing to the end and the answer just may surprise you! The plot is well thought out and the characters are wonderful! Of course I’ve read the other books in this series so I can readily recommend you get the whole series and discover new book friends you’ll want to revisit again and again!

Another fun cozy mystery with a great main character in Tabitha! Tabitha is excited that her sister, Pepper, is taking a break from her medical school studies to visit Tabby. And what a time for Pepper to visit since Tabby is excited to show her the Winter Solstice Festival. Pepper knows about Tabby's magic ability and wants to learn more and see if she has any magic feelings too. And of course we have Sherlock, Tabby's familiar. We are treated in this book to the strange murder of Donna, unanswered questions about Aunt Lizzie, Pepper helping Tabby investigate, witches afraid to say anything to Tabby since she helps the police, especially her boyfriend, Jay, who just happens to be a Detective. Add to that and we have the strange behavior of someone taking measurements outside of Olivia's cafe, the behavior of the mayor and blackmail. And what about the blue crystal? So many threads to tie together to come to a terrific ending. I can't wait to see if Pepper stays around for a while, she make a great second to Tabby! I really like this series and can't wait for more! I received and ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Tabby is very excited for the solstice not only for the festival but because her sister Pepper is coming to visit! As she is trying to show off her new home town some shady things are happening. The witches are acting odd and the head witch Marigold claims to be getting death threats, Frank the marina manager is in a big to do with a strange man, and there’s someone hanging about the cafe taking measurements. Top all this off with exorbitant prices and a horrible event at the festival and Pepper’s visit is not going exactly to plan. It’s not just a tragic accident it’s murder. Now Tabby has to juggle a visiting sister, possibly with a crystal that gives her magical abilities, a murder investigation and figure out who is trying to frame her friend for sending death threats. A start of a chain of events that leads to questions and answers to many issues that have plagued the town. Saturday turned out to be a very good day after all.

Pepper is taking a break from college and coming for the Winter Solstice Festival. All kinds of fun are expected. But what isn't expected is the death of one of the local witches.
As the investigation proceeds clues bring forth connections to a prior death. And of course Tabby, Pepper, and Sherlock are doing their best to assist Jay as he follows the clues.
I won't give away any spoilers but needless to say some very important things are learned in this investigation that have great meaning to Tabby.
This is a really great series and I look forward to more stories. This is a stand-alone story with no cliff-hanger.

This was so good! I really like the relationship between Tabby and Pepper. I liked learning more about Aunt Lizzie whose death led to this series. There were definitely shocking surprises in this story. Jay was so sweet when having to discuss difficult news. And of course Sherlock is the star! There are a couple of recipes at the end that I will be trying.

I really enjoy this series. What an introduction Tabby’s sister, Pepper, gets to Crystal Cove! All the characters are well depicted and really make you a part of the town. Some especially surprising things occur in this story. I really can’t wait to see what happens next.

this was a really enjoyed this entry in the Tabitha Chase Days of the Week Mysteries series, it had a great concept and worked with the previous three books. It was a great mystery and I enjoyed trying to figure this out. The characters were what I was expecting.

Love these magical books. Piper joins Tabby for a break in a beautiful ocean setting. Does she have any personal magic? Who killed the witch? Is Tabby’s boss in danger? Can they solve the mystery without getting killed? Are Tabby and Ray ever getting a break? So many questions!
