A second grader picked this book, we read how to do a few tricks and then he got bored with the book. I don't know how many young kids even know what a thimble (needed for the first two tricks) is or have one at home to practice with. Some of the language and pictures were not understandable for him. Overall the vocabulary didn't look that hard but some of the items aren't very common.
