Rejecting the Future Moon Goddess

Rate this book
Soulless - werewolves who have turned rogue with no humanity left, giving in to their beastly urges.
Rejection - an act in which your soulmate rejects the mate bond, causing immense pain to the rejected.
Moon Goddess - the deity that created the werewolf race whom her creation worship
Omega - The lowest ranked wolf in the pack sometimes treated as nothing more than a slave or an object

These are the things Geminie Blake learns after being blamed for the tragic Deaths of her Alpha and Luna. With the pack turned against her and failing to shift as a wolf, Geminie faces challenges every day with the hope of one day gaining freedom or her mate saving her. But when her fated soul mate ends up being her ex-best friend and the son to the late Alpha and Luna rejects her, Geminie's life changes drastically.

Learning that she is not Geminie Blake - daughter to the Beta couple - but Geminie Starlite - daughter to the Moon Goddess and Future Moon Goddess herself - Geminie quickly faces the new challenges thrown her way as she navigates her wolf form and Goddess powers, creating a pack that rivals that of Blood Moon and building her life from scratch to one day take up the mantel as Moon Goddess becomes her priority.

Now, thriving and loving herself for who she is, Geminie forces the past behind her as she waits for her second chance at love. When her first mate requests help and aid from a threat created by Soulless and a potential Leader of the wolves that have lost their Humanity, Geminie is forced to face the wounds left unhealed and return to the place she called hell for eleven years of her life.

Will Geminie be able to overcome the scars left by years of abuse and find love once and for all, or will the panful wounds of her past and threat from the Leader of the army of Soulless ready to kill at a moments notice take the last bit of happiness this young Goddess has left.

There's too many things going on. First, h h being treated like a slave. No one said anything or ever wondered why? She had to slave away and wasn't even fed, but would go to the mall to buy clothes all the time? She was slaving away but had time to win a volunteerism award?

Then the stuff about the moon goddess drawing a picture and the pack buildings would magically appear. Um... Ok .. that made things easy.

Then she's supposed to be looking for the Alpha king's lost amulet or something?

Then she goes back to help her old pack, and her ex mate is surprisingly cooperative. He's not really the antagonist of the story. the real villain is a rapist (that got skipped over so we didn't even know about him), and his gang of Soulless wolves.

We also don't get to see the reunion with her biological parents, that's off page. Why?

Did not finish 65%

When I read the summary I was actually looking forward to reading it. I think that's why I kept trying to finish it. I found myself reading things two or three times to try and understand the book. It jumps around a lot. Like a lot a lot. This needs editing baaaadddd. The author made some interesting choices but it wasn't coming together for me. Poor editing, doesn't bother me much as long as I can get lost in the book, I could not with this one. Any editor could make this book great easily tho.

Overcoming the past!

Enough time spent to understand the past abuses, with each coming into their inner strength to overcome the past! Great bringing in characters from the first book and informing about characters upcoming. I loved the whimsical antics presented and a peaceful closure of the past. Look forward the next book in series! Don't leave me hanging too long Alana! PLEASE!!!!!

I'm a long the lines with most of the comments. It has a good plot base and the characters come to life. The draw back was the editing. I could understand some of the words sounding like a two or three year old's vocabulary, but come on, the whole series is pretty much that way. A very hard read in needing to reread the sentences multiple times to comprehend what is actually being meant. Other than the editing/sentence structure issues I stuck with it and enjoyed the series

Oh my heavens, where's #3??

Awesome, I loved it. Can't wait for the next book. Great read!! You disappear in the story. The drama and romance is the perfect blend and it's not trashy romance, it's healthy and romantic with just enough descriptive sexual content to keep you reading.

Love Gem

Great read ! Love the way Gem finally finds her real parents after all the abuse she went thru. Happy she found a second mate. Now onto finding the very mean Rouge Alpha whom I don't like . He's a very cruel man . Hopefully Gem can beat him .

It's entertaining

It's good, but I feel the story is unfinished, so I have to assume there will be a 3rd in the series. Not a cliffhanger, though. The story for the hc was given an end.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was worried at first that this book would be just like book one with different characters. I'm glad I stuck with it because it turned out to be a pretty amazing book.

Good book to read

It is a good read and keeps your interest going. And ties in with the first book. Realistic and believable.
