Anything Skye Moon writes I will read and love!! This story follows the characters from her first story Beast which is an urban fiction based on beauty and the beast. This novella was wonderful and I am honestly wanting more more more!! The family dynamics the banter all of it was chef kiss!!

This is a Beauty and the Beast retelling but thuggish style. I picked it up after reading Power and honestly I like this retelling better.

It mixed so many of the details from the original fairytale but in a well thought out way. Aasim is the Beast in this story. His heart has been broken by the actions of his ex Sage.

Marshall, Reygan’s dad, intervenes when Aasim catches up to his ex and is hurting her. Because Marshall intervenes the ex gets away. So Aasim locks Marshall in a cage in a warehouse.

Reygan, only has her dad so she spends her time looking for him. Finally finding Aasim who trades her for her Dad and the story goes from there. It’s similar to the fairytale but filled with action, suspense, good friends and spicy sex.

I loved these characters and how well thought out and told this story was. Borrowed this from Kindle Unlimited.

This is my first book by this author. I was a little skeptical because of how many times re we going to have a remake of Beauty and the Beast?!

I’m glad I took a moment to read, laugh and enjoy this wonderful retelling!

This was a fun read. Gangsta life meets fairytale is a great way to tell this story. Aasim and Regyan love hate relationship sets the tone from the beginning. The story is complete fairytale behavior throughout with a modern day hood spin on things. Time and the right person can change the course of your life without you even noticing.

This is one of the best retelling I’ve ever read!!!! Skye you and Aasim tore my nerves slam up, but in the best way. Oh I loved this real good. If I could bring Gabriel back, I’d push his ass off a troll bridge. Thank you for this
