Celebrate National Tea Day with your April Man of the Month.
Chamomile When my great aunt left me half of her tea shop in the Florida Keys, I didn't know she left the other half to Grayson. My enemy who teased me on every family holiday. My first crush and my first kiss, CPR counts, right? Regardless, those lips are still imprinted, even if he is the most aggravating man I've ever known.
Grayson She stormed into the tea shop like she owned the place. Technically she does, but I'm not about to let her ruin everything I've worked for while she's been living it up in England all these years. Isn't chamomile relaxing? Not her. She makes every muscle in my body hard and my throat dry, but I'm thirsty for her curves. She can have the tea cups. I want those double Ds.

☕️ Fast, Easy Read ☕️ Ex-Athlete + Curvy Heroine ☕️ Small Town Romance ☕️ Second Chance ☕️ (Past) Misconception/Miscommunication ☕️ Open Door + Good Girl 🌶🌶 ☕️ Hallmark Vibes ☕️ Dual POVs
Usually, miscommunication turns me off from a book, but in this short, fast story, it added to it and didn't both me as much. It was such a sweet read with its second chance Hallmark vibe, but it also had a good amount of spice, too. I found myself smiling at moments.
I would recommend this book to others! I look forward to reading more books by Annie Charme in the future! ✨️
Thank you to the author and Haley Cook PA for the eARC copy. This is my honest review and opinions.
With a title like that and main characters called Gray & Camomile, you know this is going to my cup of tea! Lol 😘🫖
Another amazing novella from Annie that is full of humour, spice and tender moments. I use to think the miscommunication trope was annoying, but it’s a clever representation of real life and, of course, it adds to the drama of the story.
I always love Annie’s FMC. Feisty, strong, confident, full figured women with a hidden vulnerability that just draws you to them, and Cami is no different. I love her. I also adore Gray. He is just so homely. Honestly, he is my dream man. It’s not just because he’s body was sculpted by the gods, but because he is down to earth, kind, caring and owns a quaint little tea shop and LOVES Christmas. He is perfect (for me 😂).
This is a must read for anyone wanting a small town romance, spice & 2 gorgeous characters that are to stubborn to admit how they feel.
There is plenty more packed into this novella, but you have to read it to discover this delight of a book. ♥️
Thank you, Man of the Month 2023, for the arc ebook. This is my honest review. 🫖
Absolutely loved this! I love how when she returned to the tea shop both of our mcs had a strained relationship. I love how he was running the shop how her great aunt wanted it run. I love how she got them all set up on the business side and was able to increase profit. I hated how they both fucked up by not telling the other about the people in their lives and almost lost each other because of it. The ending was adorable and I love that they found each other.
... there's the ones he wants to give her, then the ones he needs to give her and finally the ones about the tea shop too! They suck at communication, if they would just talk instead of assuming, getting angry and running, they could have saved so much heartache and a lot of years. Although I think deep down they LIKE the bickering, and Cami especially likes the discipline! I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
Cute novella about long-term longing and missed opportunities. Cam and Gray have been friends since they were children but things kept them apart for 10 years. Can they make up for lost time??.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the first book I have read from Annie Charme and Iet’s just say that it was all that and a cup of tea.
The story was a great mix of sweet and spicy. I loved seeing the roles reversed as so many of the Heroes are dominant, worked focused and not at all interested in a long lasting relationship. But Gray was endearing and loving and everything you’d want in a book boyfriend.
And c’mon…the names. How crazy genius is that. Camomile and Gray Brewdy? I’m mean seriously, just fantastic.
This was a trifecta. Sweet, spicy and a little bit of comic relief. What more could one ask for?
Now that I’ve had a little sip of what Ms. Charme is serving, I’ll definitely be going back for more…or her other works.
OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Cam, a web designer for a London agency, is a character who has to grow on you. She can be snarky, impulsive, and abrasive and takes some getting used to. Growing up, Cam used to visit the town of Candy Cane Key and spend the summers there with her best friend Gray each year. Misunderstanding something she heard caused her to return to England and avoid Gray entirely. (Let’s hear it for learning to communicate and avoid such misunderstandings!)
When her great-Aunt Betty died, she left Cam half-interest in a tea shop. Unfortunately, the other half belongs to Gray whom Cam still blames for breaking her heart all those years ago. Cam comes back without a word of warning and, like a steamroller, starts making demands and handling the business without consulting Gray who has successfully run it all these years without her. She doesn’t know the culture, she doesn’t know the people, and she didn’t bother to ask her partner how she could assist with managing “their” business. It was thoughtless and rude to behave that way. And he was only a little better since he couldn’t stop ogling her body parts. The two of them need to grow up… oh, they already “are” adults so this may be as good as it gets. Will Cam be selling her half of the business to Gray as she planned? Or will they end up cooperating and work together to make a successful and popular business?
It is easy to see that communication is still not a strong point for these two antagonists. It would be lovely to hear them talk to each other without snarky comments designed to hurt. Ten years is a long time to hold onto a grudge, especially when the situation was misunderstood to begin with. Will they ever talk things out and find out how they really feel about each other? Or is it easier to just walk away and ignore it?
👩❤️👨Childhood Friends to Lovers ❤️🩹Second Chance 💕It’s Always Been You 💃🏻Curvy FMC 🏈Ex-NFL Player
Camomile (I kid you not that’s her name, Ms. Annie Charme and her puns, gotta love it😂) known as Cami thought she could leave all her old life behind in the small town of Candy Kane Key after her mother passed away. She has a lot of painful memories there, including being rejected by her childhood crush, Grayson. Now 10 years later, after her great-aunt passed away too, she left her cute little tea shop, Tanquill-tea to her, AND Grayson. She had no choice but to go back to sort out the ownership that she now shares with Grayson, the man who broke her heart years ago….
This was almost a reverse grumpy sunshine, Cami is such a scrooge, she turned into a city girl with a cold heart after she moved away. She no longer had that small-town comradery like Grayson, she sees only black and white in running a business, refusing to give freebies, trying to fire staff, and doesn’t care much about supporting local business. Grayson on the other hand, doesn’t have any knowledge of running a proper business and has been doing his best to keep the tea shop running, barely turning a profit. We learn that he was always pining for Cami too, but misunderstanding gets the best of them, but he’s determined to have her this time.
I like this book even more on my second read, it was just a great holiday read, great banter with some spice, and a satisfying ending. And I love the cameo from Unwrapped for You, nice to see Liam and Even again on their honeymoon. And we got to see some characters for the next book too!
I'm sorry, but this was just so not for me. The female lead is a bit*h. She is nothing but a self-centered woman who is okay when SHE puts career in front of love but is not okay when a man does that. She doesn't comes to her aunt's funeral who literally named half her tea shop in her name, she doesn't come to town for 10 years, and stays in London, 'building her career', and contacts her cousin, Gray, from there to sell her share as 'she got nothing to do with it.' Gray calls her to the hometown to see for herself what she is missing on, and she decides to help his business get up. Where she does help him, her attitude of not consulting him before literally changing how he runs the place for the last 10 years didn't settle well with me. He has been working here for long, he knows, she doesn't. She doesn't even consult, let alone ask permission, and starts changing everything there. Behaves badly with the customers just because she wants to make profits, while Gray wants to make customers, and be happy with them for them to come back again. Gray believes in helping other small businesses grow up as well where the female lead is more focused on making money and not looking for love.
She, along with Gray, are quick to jump to conclusions and are shit at conversations. Overall? The female lead pissed me off like never before, and I am sorry, but not my read.

Part of the Candy Cane Key series each book can be read as a standalone love hate relationship and a lot of tea 😊. Cam short for Chamomile a plus size sweetheart talked about most of her life for being on the bigger size of the usual girl, going to visit her aunt ever summer in the Florida Keys was one of her favorites to look forward to but she also wanted to see her best friend until one day one misunderstanding sent her home never to return so when got news of her aunts death and that she left her the tea shop she grew up running around playing with her best friend came as a surprise. Gray sexy as all get out part owner of the his childhood friends aunts tea shop never understand why she never came back to and so when her aunt passes away she shows up calling all the shots he wasn’t having it no matter how much she pushed or disliked him he was going to get to the bottom of why she never came back if he could think straight with all her lush curves on display. The attraction was always there between them and time didn’t lessen that attraction in fact it is more intense as adults and the pull between them becomes harder to ignore each day they are around each other but will they get down to the real reason why she never returned, where are they headed with the tea shop, will she listen to reasons why she heard what she think she heard, and can they find common ground where their attraction grow into happiness?.

A friends to enemies to lovers' story that is a great combination of sweet and spicy.
Cam spent summers growing up in the quirky little Christmas town and couldn't wait to see her best friend Gray each year. But just as stronger feelings were growing an overheard conversation sends Cam running back to her home in England. It would be ten years before she'd gain the courage to return. Upon the death of her great-aunt, she learns she is now half owner of a tea shop with none other than the man who broke her heart ten years prior.
After a few frustrating starts and stops, the air is cleared and feelings once again blossom. But of course, as is expected in stories like this, miscommunication and jealousy rear its ugly head pulling the two apart.
The third act break-up is a good combination of both being a fault. Each one had a hand in messing things up for them. And they both admit their mistakes in order to come back together. Gray is sweet and loving, yet I didn't like how he kept putting his intelligence down since he never graduated college. Cam asserts herself into the business of the tea shop a little too aggressively for my taste. She doesn't understand how things work in the town and tries to make changes without consulting Gray who's run the place successfully for a while. That put me off her character a little but didn't detract from the overall story.
😊 What i liked -
✔ Plus Size Heroine/Forced Proximity/Small Town. ✔ I loved the British dig. (it had me snorting, sorry no offence but it's true) ✔ I loved Cam and Gray's sweet touch moments to their gutter minds. ✔ It was funny that Gray hates tea and owns a tea shop. ✔ So ya this book had misunderstanding and miscommunication but just the right amount.(i swear if it was more than this line would have been under what could have been better) ✔ It's a cute, sweet, spicy read of a cute small town of candy cane.
🤔What could have been better -
✔ Oh only one problem, it ended tooooo quickly.

P.s- I can't get over Gray's reaction to Noel's reaction on seeing Gloria, so really looking forward to them.
Camomile lives in London struggling with a mortgage after her boyfriend up and left her for pastures new. After her great aunt passes away Camomile learns she has been left her tea shop in Candy Cane Key, well, half a tea shop. The other half was left to her childhood crush, Grayson. So Camomile leaves London for the sunnier climes of Florida so she can wrap up the sale and buy her boyfriend out of his part of her home. What she hadn’t bargained for was the love she felt for Grayson the minute she sets her eyes on him. They had both loved each other since school but miscommunication and circumstance always hindered any type of relationship. Back in the familiar surroundings emotion pulls on both their heartstrings but is it enough. Whilst Grayson has been holding the fort keeping the tea shop ticking over Cam has her business head on wanting a quick turnaround and sell her half so she can return to her more luxurious home in London. Can Grayson convince her to stay for her happy ever after or will she return to her luxury apartment and ex boyfriend.
This is such a sweet short read about two people who thought they miss the chance for each other, but after ten years & a tea shop being left in both of their names, they may get one last chance. We have Camomile also known as Cami, she moved to London to pursue her dreams in websites/graphics, then we have Grayson he did have dreams in football, but that was shattered due to an injury, so he has been working/managing the tea shop for Cami’s aunt Betty up until till she passed away. Both Cami & Gray knew each other when younger, but never took the shot & Gray is putting on his boss pants to show Cami who is in charge. Cami has been hurt in the past & always being put second in a relationship, so she is always second guessing herself when it comes to a relationship. Overall this is a good man of the month book, it definitely pulled on some heart strings when it came to communication not being used between the two of them.
One of my favorite parts in any book is the moment when the book title comes into play. That moment in this book was perfect and left me smiling throughout the rest of the story.
This novella is a forced proximity, small beach town romance featuring a curvy girl and the guy that she's loved since they were kids. Gray is part owner in Cam's great-aunt's tea shop, but Cam was given half of the shop when her great-aunt passed away. Cam's crossed the ocean to sell her share, but Gray is hoping that he can convince her to keep it and stay.
While the plot of this holiday romance is nothing new, I still loved how this story played out. I did find myself getting frustrated with both of these characters at times (a little communication could have solved most of their problems), but that touch of angst kept me flipping the pages.
This is a fairly quick read that takes place in a town that celebrates Christmas year-round, so you'll definitely get your holiday fill with this romance.
She’s everyone’s Stop Gap Or at least that’s how Cam (FMC) feels in Annie Charmes’ “Hate Tea Love You.”
Misunderstandings in romances frustrate me, but I guess it wouldn’t make an exciting story without one. I believe I growled a few times in frustration during this story. Cam comes in holding ten years of anger `and hurt towards Gray (MMC) when she sees him after her great aunt’s funeral, and understandably so. There’s history, misunderstandings, and miscommunication that go both ways.
Cam’s great-aunt leaves the tea shop to the two of them. She doesn’t want it, though, and wants to sell it and go back home. She is apprehensive towards Gray due to past circumstances. However, Gray still has feelings for her. And there lies the problem.
Overall, entertaining read with mild spice.

I just love the witty banter between Cami and Gray! Chamomile’s great aunt passes and leaves half of her tea shop in Cami’s name and the other half in Grayson Brewdy’s name. Cami returns to Candy Cane Key to try to make a deal with Gray about selling her half of the tea shop, but ends up with a lot more than what she bargained for. Both fall for each other, but are unsure how the other feels about them. Gray takes Cami on a date and they drink cocktails and sing karaoke which sounds like a wild and fun date if you ask me! They grew up being childhood friends, then crushes, then enemies and hadn’t spoke to each other since.
This is such a cute small town romance that’s an easy quick read if you’re looking for something fun! Annie always has a way with words and keeps the reader wanting more!
Thoughts: 💡 I was surprised with just how much I loved this book. It was so sweet and light hearted with just enough spice to keep it fun. The characters were so relatable and I loved that we got a curvy heroine, and it was repeatedly recognized by the hero with loads of positivity about just how much he liked it. He also had his own struggles and was both endearing and lovable. Also, major bonus points for the equality in this one. The writing was superb. It was written by a British author, so all the spellings and grammar are British English; yet it still flowed well and didn’t feel awkward to my American mind. Fun Bits: ⚜️ Curvy Girl ⚜️ Sweet & Steamy ⚜️ Equality

This was a first for me from this author so I was unsure of what to expect. This was a cute little second chance romance. It is Gray and Cam’s story. They were once upon a time were very close and they both have feelings for the other but a miscommunication messed everything up. After years of staying away Can finally return after the death of her Great Aunt. She has inherited the tea shop with none other than the man who broke her heart ten years prior and who she has stayed away from for so long. I didn’t particularly liked how Cam came in hot trying to change so much without Grays approval when he had been running things just fine. But I did love how their chemistry was so strong they could no longer fight it. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books from this author. Highly recommend.
I loved Hate Tea Love You: A Man of the Month Club Novella. Gray and Cam were each left half of the tea business. Cam just wants to sell her part to Gray, he broker her heart ten years ago but Gray wants Cam now and forever. Can Gray convince her that she is all he ever wanted? Cam can’t believe she had to come to FL, Gray could have handled this over Zoom. Now her feelings for Gray are back and she’s so confused. Throw in a harassing ex and now she thinks Gray is hiding something, she needs to leave. Will Gray realize his mistake before it’s too late? Will Cam ever forgive him? This was a super cute story and I just loved the characters. I love these books set in Candy Cane Key. I would definitely recommend this book.

Aaa these two made my head hurt LOL. They've lived with each other for a long time, but were never open about their feelings. Now some years have passed and the faith has put them back in each other's paths.
Cam is jaded and not happy to be back home. She wants to wrap up all of her late aunt's business and get back to London. Gray knows this is his last chance to win the girl over. The butt heads a lot but the chemistry is not to be ignored anymore. When they finally admit their feelings things start to look up, but nothing comes easy and they learn that to have HEA they both have to fight for it.

I loved Gray and Cami's story. Cami lives in London building web pages. Grayson has been running the Tranquili Tea shop for quite awhile. On the death of Cami's grandmother they have each been left half of the tea shop. Gray wants Cami to stay but she wants to go back to London. They struggle to make a profitable tea shop and seem to disagree on everything except their chemistry which is off the charts. This is the first book I have read of Annie Charme and I really enjoyed it. It is fast paced and steamy with great characters and a fun read. Lots of laughs too.

This was my first time reading a novella from Annie Charme and I thoroughly enjoyed the way she crafted her characters. Gray & Chamomile are the main characters in this story and boy oh boy does the chemistry “brew” between them.
A great novella from Annie that is full of humour, spice and endearing moments. This is a must read for anyone wanting a small town romance with lots of spice.
Thank you for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Things I loved: - A curvy girl as the main female character….yaaas queen! - Dual POV - A down to earth, caring and kind male character who knows what he wants - Small town romance - Christmas, I love Christmas!
Hate Tea Love You is a charming and fun short story. This is my first read from Annie Charme, and I am glad I decided to dive into this one. It was a pleasant surprise!
Readers are introduced to Gray and Camomile, who share a story of love, romance, spice, and lots of humor. I laughed out loud, which was my favorite part of this novella. Gray is a tender hero who treats Cham with the love and respect she deserves. There were moments of drama that added more dynamic elements to the story, which I admit was frustrating at some points, but overall I really liked this one. This is a fun enemies-to-lovers trope with moments of sweet and sexy spice.
As a tea lover myself, I adored the quaint setting for this charming story and how it was a tea shop that brought Cam and Gray together. I didn’t quite realize how Christmas centred this novel is (I didn’t notice the town name on the cover before I started reading) which took away from my enjoyment a little bit, just because I’m not a fan of Christmas. I loved the banter and tension between Cami and Gray and they fought to sort out their feelings for each other. Overall this was a cute, quick read and I would recommend it to people who love steamy romances that you can read in one sitting!

Camomile and Grayson both inherited half of a tea shop. There was once chemistry between them until Cam overhears a conversation that sends her back to England. She is back because of her inheritance and wants to sell her half to Grayson. There are still feelings between the both of them but because of a misunderstanding Camomile has closed herself off. Will coming back and being together reignite the spark between them and will it lead them to a happily ever after. This story kept me glued to the pages!.

Grayson and Camomille were friends from the summers she spent in Candy Cane Key with her aunt, but has not been back in several years, even missing her aunt's funeral.
Both of them are left have the tea shop, Grayson tells her she must come in person if she wants to sell her half. The pair have loved each other for years but did not put themselves out there to move forward. Grayson talks her into staying a while to help him get a loan to buy her out. Now they are both staying in the apartment that her aunt lived in. This is his chance to finally get the girl, can he get her to stay for ever?.

I loved the way the conflict was handled in this novella!
Cam and Grayson are big dummies who have been hiding their feelings for each other for at least 10 years!
After Cam’s great aunt passes away, she leaves her tea shop in Candy Cane Key to both Cam and Grayson to run together so Cam flys in from London to figure out how to help Grayson buy out her shares.
After giving into their feelings and a handful of misunderstandings, the story comes to a head when Grayson finds out the truth and tries to stop her from going! It gave Ross and Rachel in the series finale vibes and I am a huge Friends fan!
