This book...omg... it had me laughing, crying, and about to lose it. I love this entire series and with each book it just gets better. Declan and Em are the best match. She's fighting her demons and so is he. Get this book! If you haven't started this series, get busy because it takes you for a ride with one. Great job to T. L. another hit!!

These two damaged souls save each other. Ember has a dark past as well as what happened with the Henchmen. She help Declan recover. During that time the heal and fall in love
Buzz is finally dealt with. However Brick is in hiding and I'm confused as they didn't do anything with the club bunnies. Em never brought it up to the men so we are left hanging. Hope we see what happens with them in the last book

As much as I like the series, I really hate loose ends. And just like in the book Riggs, Salem‘s ex-boyfriend’s involvement never resurfaced and just fell off the face of the earth. As with this book, the truth about the sweet butts came out and who made that call to Declan.
That too, was like it never happened. Annoyed TF out of me.
I just thought they were other underlying storylines that popped up that went nowhere and was a little bit discombobulated for me.

Well… I liked Declan more than Wren, so that’s a positive. I still don’t understand why they haven’t dealt with Brick (or Rena) yet. They know he’s an abusive asshole and most likely a rat, yet they wait to deal with him “later” after they handle the Henchmen? Huh? Makes no sense.

2.5* Not very well written with too many unanswered questions.
While there were a lot of mistakes, and the plot didn’t make sense in parts, I did enjoy it. Ember was rescued by the club from traffickers and has been under their protection since. When Declan is badly beaten by the people who took her, she feels responsible, and moves in to help him with his recovery. Declan has always liked Ember, but he wanted to give her time to recover from her ordeal, before he made a move.
The Henchmen Mc story continues in this book, with enemies in their own club, working against them. It doesn’t explain what happens to their enemies, maybe that continues in the next book? I liked how gentle Declan was with Ember. After she has suffered a lot of abuse. What I really didn’t like was after all the abuse she suffered, she doesn’t need any counselling?????
So definitely better then some in this series, but still not very well written. With a ludicrous side plot of another Mc member wanting Ember, and feeling like she wants him.

From the very beginning of the series, I just knew there was something about the handsome, laid-back, VP of The Road Demons MC that I was going to really love! And I was not disappointed. Declan was born and raised within the club alongside his cousin Riggs, his best friend and club Prez Kellan, and his brother Wren. They all share a very tight bond with each other as well as with the rest of their MC brothers as well. He isn't really looking for an Olé Lady or anything serious. He's happy spending time with any of the available ladies around the club. But that changes when his cousin Mia is taken by a rival club. During her rescue, they also found another woman, Ember, had been abďucteď while she passed through Covington. From the moment Dec saw her passed out on that cold cellar floor, he felt an instant connection with her. The problem with that is that even though she was also instantly attracted and drawn to him, Ember has had a horrible past, and she is afraid to let people into her life. More specifically, men, because she's been hurt by them too much in the past. But slowly, Declan shows her that she can let her walls down because he would never hurt her, and he is willing to take things slow and let her be in total control. Then, the biggest issue between them is not only Embers' traumatic past. but also one of Declan's best friends and club brothers Cypher. Unbeknownst to everyone he has also developed feelings for Ember & was under the impression that she reciprocated those same feelings as well. That puts a strain on Declan and Cypher's friendship but eventually he claims Em as his Olé Lady and they all try to make the best of things. I can't wait to see what happens in the final book of the series with Cypher and his mystery girl. Definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series as well!

Declan is ready to give Ember everything she has always wanted. Unfortunately, Ember can never see herself trusting any man no matter what she see’s. When club duties leave Ember fearing for Declan could be in harm’s way again just a week after returning home from a vicious beating she makes the decision to leave and return to her own place. She decides she is not willing to have him ripped from her life because he does not care if he lives or dies.
However, the war with the Henchmen has her thrown back into Declan’s life and home. Like and the men of the Road Demon’s Declan is able to slowly and patiently show Ember that what he feels and wants is not a passing phase but rather a life time promise of love, protection, and so much more. Unfortunately, Declan is not the only one who has set his sights on Ember.
As things heat up with the Henchmen’s so does the depth of betrayal within the Road Demons.

This was pretty interesting, but the whole Cypher thing was ridiculous. The moronic drama with another club member thinking he was so in love with the h because he flirted with her (which he did with every new woman that came through the door) and he grabbed her and kissed her once was eye-rolling & really stupid. How this author compared what he felt for a woman that wasn't his and he had barely any relationship with, to what the H & h had together and what other couples felt for each other, made this a loser story.
Also didn't exactly love the h Ember, who just was so weak & whiny, yet thought she should be told everything that the club does & that was only in the beginning of her relationship with Declan.
Too bad cause the main story was pretty good and the couple was OK, but the unnecessary and ridiculous drama of trying to make another member fall in love with the h and the stupidity of the h, spoiled it for me so had to remove a star. All this book accomplished was making all of us hate Cypher & think he was an asshole. Only reading his book because it's free and I have nothing else to read at the moment.

I think by now I have come to terms with the fact that these alphaholes really get on my nerves! They might love with all they have once they find their women, but they remain self centered, know-it-all assholes.
Thankfully Declan was the most likable of this club….thankfully, because Em got on the only nerve the men didn’t have claim to. I did feel for her and all the abuse she had suffered. I know she’s really young, but girl, you got your man. Now, toughen up and stop the crying and whining.
Of course I am not in a biker club, but this does seem like the way it could go down…. asshole men, women who don’t resist them much, all the banter and the miscommunication. I’m grabbing Book 6 and the final one in the series. Buckle up!

Omg! I love this author! Her series just keeps getting better and better!
I was hoping Em would have a sorry and this one did not disappoint. Ever since she entered into the series she’s been a secret favorite of mine. I love that we get her whole story and the pain she’s gone through. It broke my heart but Declan was there for her as he always has been.
The VP of the group, Declan, shows how far he will go to keep her safe. Chasing her demons away is something she really needed from him.
Cypher... my heart is on the verge of breaking and I cannot wait for his book.
Highly recommend this author, this ENTIRE series and this book. I’m already craving the next book and I know it’ll be a one-click for me!

Great read
Lots of club action in this book which was written very well. Delicate subject matter was featured heavily throughout the book but addressed well. Love the camaraderie between the brothers, really enjoyed the ‘good’ henchmen and intrigued to see how they play out. Hopefully the underlying story from previous books has run its course and it ran its course in a spectacular way.
Declan and Ember had a connection from the minute he carried her out of a bad situation and we watched their love blossom, obviously with some drama as these MC boys don’t do anything simple.
Loved seeing Al beginning to mend internally after the past grief of 8 years.
But Cypher, my heart broke for him and hope his HEA is kind to him.

Ember is a woman trying to grow strong but she is haunted by her past and sometimes it feels like the uphill battle just grows steeper. When Declan is hurt, it is Ember who is by his side helping him recover but feelings start to grow and with patience Declan proves he is worth a chance. Can Ember find a happily ever with Declan or is it too good to be true?
Really enjoying this series, intense at times but in a good way. I like all the characters so far, there were a couple head scratchers for me with things left unanswered but I think it may clear up as the series progresses. Can't wait for the next book.

3.5 stars Not sure why Cypher was so upset. I mean I felt badly for him cuz I knew he truly liked Em, but he had to know Declan wanted her too, and I don't get why he's so mad at Declan when no one thought Cypher was serious about her cuz he flirts with anyone and everyone. I liked that Declan was patient with Em although I don't think her telling him without actual therapy would be enough for her to be all in and ready to have sex, but it's fiction. I also liked that Declan didn't run when he found out she was a virgin, but again, he was hung like a horse, yet they had sex many times her first night... yeah, not happening.

Love this series!
I really have fallen in love with these Road Demons and their stories. While this might be Declan’s story, Em (FMC) captures my heart. She has had such a round start to life and at only 22 has experienced more than most could handle. However, she is still holding her head high, and willing to try for love. I absolutely love the outcome of this story. However, it still leaves us with some unanswered questions; that I really can’t wait for the answers!

This was surprisingly better than what I expected
The storybline not that new
Betrayal, abuse, possessive alpha, teaumatized heroine
But the writing was excellent
And if you've read the previous books in the series, which were wonderful too, you'll understand most of what is going on
I will not judge by the FL here bec I think that Ember is a sub character not a main one even if she gets her POV.

Declan and Ember's story twisted me up and spit me out (in a good way). My heart broke for Ember. Declan is her rock. I won't lie, something from left-field does occur in this book and I'm not sure what to think of it. And, as with all good MC HEAs, the club girls were stirring the pot! Loved, loved this book even if I had need of a tissue or two. You will not be disappointed reading the entire Road Demons series!

I was anxiously looking forward to this book since Declan helped rescue Ember. I won’t spill any spoilers, but I finished the book in a day and now I’m ready for the next one again! The roller coaster ride of emotions from this book was enough to make me hold my breath at some parts and laugh out loud at others.

I have loved everything this author has wrote. But in my opinion Declan is her best book to date. Declan and Ember are magic together. Their story is beautifully written that touches all your feels. You will laugh, cry, get angry and feel the chemistry between Declan an Em. I do recommend reading this series is order. You will not be disappointed.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Declan and Ember’s journey is emotionally captivating, intense, raw but overall beautifully satisfying. A definite pager turn that not only kept me on the edge of my seat but also I was up all night burning through these pages. I absolutely loved this book.

The story and writing was good but Ember was too weak and pathetic for my liking. She was always whining and crying and felt she should be always in the know about club business but she and the other girls kept vital information from the club. Then she was going to run away because she couldn't handle club life but Declan gave her a good f###ing and all was forgotten.

I've been waiting for Declan's story since the sneak peak at the end of Wren's story, and wow, what a story, from the first page I was hooked, Declan and Ember are a fantastic couple, he has always been there for her but she has another admirer who doesn't like their relationship.

Oh my gosh! Declan is AMAZING! I love this guy! I line how he and Em were there for each other. This dude has patience and it pays off. My heart breaks for Cypher though. I want to jump in there and save that guy. Can’t wait to read his story.

Declan is just as great as I thought it would be. After the ending of Wren I wasn't sure how Declan would come out. This book is fantastic! I can't wait for Cypher now and I'm anxious to see how the Road Demons are going to take out the trash.

Oh. My!! I thought Wren’s book wrecked me but this one?! Holy shit! Ember and Dec’s story just broke my heart but also gave me hope.
Throw in all the shit that is going down in and around the club and I was on the edge of my seat!!

Fantastic read
We all knew something was brewing with these 2.
Declan and Ember are an amazing couple who are meant to be.
We get A LOT of drama in this one. MC and inner club. Mysteries are unraveled, revenge is taken and sooooo much action. Whew!
