A potentially interesting tale indifferently crafted.

A short missionary biography from our home shelf collection of old books, read in one afternoon. The abundance of interesting anecdote from this missionary's life would be hard to make uninteresting, but it is rather hastily strung together for the purpose of inspiring 1960's children.

I kept imagining the source materials told the stories better, but it was still nice to be able to read a whole life story in about an hour. What a life!

Such a fun read! I didn’t have a high expectation when my friend Joan lent me this book to read but really loved it! It gets better page by page. I feel really proud of Mildred Cable and her devotion to spread the gospel all around the world. Very inspiring!
