The faint jingling of bells is the only warning she’ll get when he comes. Mr. Jingle has been trapped for millennia, his only entertainment the faces flashing outside his prison, all as indifferent as snowflakes, all as cold. Until her. She captivates him. Her smile is as glorious as her tears. There has never been a more beautiful face, a more radiant personality, a more mesmerizing voice. She doesn’t know he watches, so she lets him see everything. Her naked body. Her unguarded soul. And he burns with passion. He’s been trapped forever, cold and unused to affection, but for the beautiful woman who shines like his sun, he will break the walls of his prison. Come Christmas Eve he’ll break out and claim her. Because even if she does not know him, he knows her… And all her darkest desires.
Expect tentacles, an abyss that gazes back, and a special Christmas flavor.

Fluffy or dark, with TWs ranging from flavored monster essence used as food to blood play and dark taboo romance, she explores the fantasy of monster love from various angles. She is not an author for the faint of heart.
Kelly is a bully victim, Jingle is the destroyer of the universe, trapped in a mirror Kelly bought a few years ago. He fell in love with her, so now it's time to make a human body and save Kelly. It's funny and sexy, more Layla Fae style, and continues the Monster Ever After's series. We have a special and little appearance of Satan, as we are used by now...
Not sure why I picked this one up in June. I guess I was just in the mood for a monster read and I hadn’t finished off this series yet.
I didn’t really care for Kelly. Too much giggling and talking about farts. The whole eater of worlds things was a bit too huge of a concept for such a short book.
I did very much like his on the nose named “mind arms” though.
I don’t know, some of these I really enjoyed and some not so much. This one was more of a miss for me.
Layla Fae creates swooniest monsters ever! Jingle is, and has been, devoted to his Kelly. He will do anything and everything to make her happy, to see her smile. And to make her come…to her senses.
With this book, we get a lot of backstory on the how and why of Jingle. And I’m so glad!! It made this story that much more enjoyable. It made Jingle so much more lovable. And swoony. And… *sigh*…yes, adorable.
I love how with every passing minute, every special moment with Kelly, he becomes more…put together, almost more…human?
Even with all the seriousness and love and heart in this story, humor is also in here and creates the most enjoyable and monstrously entertaining reading experience.
Fun and delightful? Yes. Steamy AF? Definitely. Sweet? That too!
This story in the series had yet another unique flavor, just like the other stories did. And I thoroughly enjoyed it. That epilogue? EPIC.
If you’ve read and loved the other books in this series, you’ll want to read this one. If you haven’t, I highly recommend them!
It’s a monster romance - Christmas edition. It has some heavier themes compared to some of the others that I’ve read from this author, but it’s sexy (mind arms for the win!) and often times ridiculous. Things don’t make the most sense, but if I can accept a magical, tentacled, destroyer of planets, golden retriever hero, then I don’t need to try and poke holes in the plot. Just read it and have fun ;)
From the author - Possibly triggering scenes: attempted rape on the FMC by a side character, few details, quickly interrupted and avenged. Another heavy topic: online abuse, harassment. Steamy scenes and romance tropes include: virgin hero, edging, tentacle sex, oral sex, somnophilia, tentacle double penetration (also triple and sort of quadruple—this means four tentacles, NOT four holes), bondage, facial, flavored sperm, monster peen, infertile hero (no pregnancy or baby), praise, mirror sex, gut rearranging, jingle bells.
I would've said this was my favorite one after Crow. It wasn't overly sexual and light on the kink. The series formula was subtle and Jingle was a sweetheart. I had a wtf moment with Kelly's apparent saint like morality at the end point. She was tormented by the group and not only that she wasn't their first victim, but she was upset he was getting revenge on them? I'd be happy someone gave a damn to protect me like that, but I suppose it had to be that way to keep the bad side on a leash. The Epilogue was awkward. Like really awkward.

The beginning of the story was necessary. He had to be explained. But the moment he materialized, was cool, and everything changed from that point on. I liked that she felt safe with him, even when she didn’t understand or didn’t like what happened. His honesty was fantastic. Their epilogue was epic!! I loved reading this story, and still smiling!
So, the story starts with this amazing dude who is horny, trapped in a mirror and has an octopus instead of his dick.
On a beautiful day of Christmas (I think) he breaks free and rocks the girl's world. Literally. Our girl Kelly, who does not have it right in her head, when she finds a strange naked man on her bedroom floor she decides it's actually a Christmas miracle. And bro is like: we should bang, and girl is: no, I don't even know you but I guess she is into this whole christmas ornament instead of a head bro's got going on, so she lets him whip out his silly willy and shove it up her vagina. Only oh-oh, it's too big, so dude literally remakes her vagina using magic. Oh did I mention he has tentacles? Not only he has four strapped to his back that he pushes in every hole he can find in that poor girl, he also has tentacles on his fucking dick. Like what. Go back into your mirror and stay there. Forever, preferably. And take your eggnog cum with you, for fuck's sake.
I am not even gonna acknowledge the fact that he has a piercing with a bell on his dick that jingles when he ... yk. And gurl loved it so much she made him pierce both of her nipples with matching bells. So now she jingles too. Talk about a Christmas spirit.
Where was the plot? Not in this book, that's for sure. The only thing happening there was porn between a Christmas ornament and this spineless gurl. And when you thought it could not get any more bizzare, suddenly the Satan, YES YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT, THE SATAN, walks in with his girlfriend or what, turns out he and our dear mister Jingles the octopus dick are old enemies, how great, what a treat, please leave.
I regret losing the person I was before reading this, she's dead, we can't never have her back. I am gonna go cry now, someone bleach my brain.
If you know me and saw me read this not you didnt.
I mean, Layla has unlocked something in me I never knew was there. I started with her Halloween stories (Jacked, Carved, and Gutted) then moved to Thanksgiving (Full Sack) and now here I am with Christmas and Mr. Jingle.
All her stories are out there, but this one was probably the swooniest and sweetest while also hot AF. I mean, who doesn’t want another who can make you feel what they are feeling and *taste* like your favorite thing?
There is backstory to make you connect and root for them. Again, I loved it. I wouldn’t mind a monster for Christmas haha
Soooo... I was looking trough my existing kindle books with Christmas vibe and found this.. Jingle.
I.. I mean.. You know what? This is hit or miss imo. I see a lot of people liked this, so that's great. For me? There were many weird moments (but like interesting /kinda good weird). And then the rest I could not care less. Also, her behaviour and talks about - well, read it for yourself. Was not my cup of eggnog 🤷♀️
This was another awesome read in this Monster Ever After series and I have to say it was fun, kinky and hot ;D It does start off quite seriously, with threats and danger all around Kelly, leaving her hiding in her apt alone...but she really isn't alone. He's been imprisoned in another dimension for ages but has become aware with studying Kelly. Mr. Jingle works hard, and in great pain, to make the body he knows will make Kelly his forever. So yeah, in the typical fashion that this author likes to treat us with, he comes with a special flavour and all the notes to satisfy Kelly fully ;P It's an OTT story that had me fanning myself and giggling away as these two found their way together. I can't wait for what's next!
This is her best monster book yet! I have read all of them and I throughly enjoyed this one! To think she had the flu while writing this book and she still made a stunner! Love Layla Fae!!!
Not her best work. Still ridiculous but it’s milder than the others. The other books had me laughing at every damn page. This one was actually good in a not funny iconic way. If it was a bit longer and started out with him getting put in the prison it could have been this whole fantasy romance story.
The epilogue was normal for her. Had the ridiculous taste 💦. The actual story had it but idk if I got use to it with her other books or she just didn’t flaunt it like in the others but I was like “eh ok next” Loved how it brought daisy and satan in the epilogue but not something I’d have the desire to read again next Christmas.

Have some Eldritch horror with your holiday eggnog.
Oh my stars. *I fan myself vigorously* How I love a good filthy, funny holiday romance.
Our MMC, Jingle, is actually an eldritch horror who has been trapped in a mirror since Ancient Egypt. In the past he was so ravenous that he swallowed whole worlds. Oh, and he’s a virgin.
He’s become obsessed with Kelly, an artist who writes erotic graphic novels, but who is an emotional wreck because she’s being attacked, bullied, and stalked. The mirror he’s trapped in is in her bedroom.
Part of the reason Jingle fully manifests is that he wants to protect Kelly.
But get this. He’s taken the form of Kelly’s favorite beast from her books. Tentacles, feelers, fancy male bits, etc.
It’s all over the top, and such filthy fun to read.
Layla Fae is one of my favorite monster smut writers, and she doesn’t disappoint here. It is SO inventive.
Tentacles. Need I say more 😈😈 A "monster" that can destroy all planets and the universe, but is soft for one woman only??? I love it, I need 14 of them.
I really like this series. Jingle and Kelly were a really great couple. Jingle is so much more than you expect, and Kelly, who is an artist, is damaged by internet bullying. Jingle does so much to help her regain her sense of self, and he does it in a way that is acceptable to her; going against his own nature by doing it her way. Satan and Daisy make an appearance, which turns out to be hilarious. This series is a fun little smutty series, and they are fairly short reads, so go and read it!
Kelly is being harassed online and in person because of her art. Jingle has been trapped in a mirror for millennia, and falls for Kelly the first time he sees her. But first, he needs a body so he can break out and be with her. This book has plenty of intensity and taboo, but it also has plenty of sweet, and I loved both aspects equally. Definitely not your typical Christmas story, and not for the faint of heart!
To be honest this was not exactly what I was expecting with this book, but it was better!
Jingle is a type of other world creature who was called Destroyer, because he had a habit of eating entire planets. After being cursed and stuck inside of a mirror for millennia, he meets Kelly.
Kelly is an artist currently under major kick back from rude people on the internet after she sticks up for a friend. Kelly is currently fearful for her own safety as some of these online trolls have brought trouble to her door.
Jingle and Kelly are this strange fusion of innocent and totally kinky and it works! This is a sweet short read with lots of hot sexy times with a free spirited artist and a world devouring being. It’s the strangest (and yet adorable) Christmas themed read I’ve had and I’m not made about it at all.
This book contains, some fun art inspired male appendages and the ability to share pleasure from other dimensions. Be warned it’s steamy with a dash of sweetness, sort of like eggnog 😉.
I enjoyed this book. It was such a fun read with a really unique male lead. I liked that Jingle created a physical body for himself, and designed a certain body part to match a drawing Kelly- the female lead and artist- had done. Such steamy chemistry between them. I couldn't put this down and is probably one of my favorites of this author. 5 stars.
This one didn’t quite work for me. I think we got off to a rather good start, I could see the potential, but then it felt like there was a tonal shift and a bit of a pacing issue that I just couldn’t let go of.
Him/Jingle (H) has been trapped for millennia watching life go by until he becomes aware of Her/Kelly (h) and is filled with a desire to be her protector, her everything. Jingle is so devoted to Kelly that he even manages to create a physical form for his being – one that will fulfill her sensual fantasies. As he sees Kelly sinking further into despair, Jingle explodes into her life. I read a lot of Christmastime related romance, and this is that deliciously dark read to help overcome some of the too sweet stories. Jingle gives her the best possible revenge against her haters – karma. Flavorful Christmastime erotica with tentacles, special equipment, and seasonally tasteful in this ultra-hot and steamy monster romance. I love seeing our old friends, especially when they exchange gifts with one another. Jingle all the way!
This one was a bit darker to me than the others. I felt it did have some humor throughout but Kelly was in a very dark place from online bullying. Mr. Jingle was enamored with her while trapped in a mirror she finds at a shop. He watched her turn from a sunshine personality to a terrified person. Once he was out, he immediately started to take care of her. It was a quick read for me and the story kept me engaged throughout.
