If you're a fan of Cars the movie, then this is an excellent book for you! This is not a storybook, but an actual guide that tells you more information about the characters and places in the movie. I really enjoyed looking at the backdrops and trying to catch all the little things that the animators snuck into the movie. Filled with excellent captures from the movie, this book is great for all ages.

I think these DK Essential Guides are really good they include character profiles and information on the locations of the film, I recently watched Cars for the first time and really enjoyed it and then I really wanted to pick up the guide as it gives you extra information about the film and character profiles on all the characters and I enjoyed it more as I didn't really know the characters unlike other Pixar films.

My youngest is a huge cars fan. However, he is also very young. So this book has been nice for the beautiful pictures included, the text is a little spacey to hold his attention. It is definitely a good pick for fans of the movie Cars.

My son is a big fan of the movie and also really liked this book. It is not a story so much as it is a guide to all the characters in the movie. It has large colorful pictures and fun facts about each character. If you like the movie, I recommend this book as a fun book to browse through.
